I'm Italian; I have an elchim hairdryer in Italy and it is great! Unfortunately it is not working at the same speed here because the voltage is 110 instead of 220. I tried a power-up transformer, but it didn't work. So I thought that an elchim drier adjusted for American market would have been adjusted also to American voltage in order to work at the same power. Unfortunately it is not. Hairdryers in Italy works better because of the 220 voltage. If I had a 220 V hookup in my place I would use my Italian hairdryer and I am sure it would work perfectly. I'm not saying this is a bad product but it doesn't work for me. I have too much quantity of hair, quite long and a little bit rebel. This hair dryer is not powerful enough to give my hair the appearance I want it to have. I chose it because of its double voltage and it would work perfectly in America and in Europe but unfortunately I also have to use a hair straightener to see my hair quite decent and that makes me spend more time. It's not fear. I'm sorry but I only recommend this product to dry hair only, without expecting it straight your hair.

I always use the regular solano, but read a couple great reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. Both reviews were from stylists, so I thought that was credible enough for me. Well for starters, if you have shoulder length hair, this one takes forever to dry, and I have layers, the regular salono took five minutes, and my hair was shiny and so healthy looking. This does not have as much power and takes twice as long. Plus, I have to hold down the one hot air switch when using so it doesn't keep going back and forth. I have been using salonos since college (20yrs) with great results. This one is horrible. Equivalent to a con-air...I may return or keep as a back up and order the regular. By the way, it is lighter, but it still sucks.

I have very damaged, bleached hair and my previous blow dryer got too hot and put out little power. My hair dresser told me to use lower heat, but I also needed something with enough power to dry my hair. This one is exactly what I was looking for. I had purchased the regular solano in the past but returned after a few days because it was heavy and the cord made it seem like it only belonged in a salon. (And it has double the price of the Ultralite solano). Love the Ultralite (even with the long cord), very satisfied with the weight. The buttons do switch up and down too easily when I am drying, maybe that part could be redesigned to slide up and down. But I've adjusted where I place my hand when blow drying and it seems to help, just need to get used to that. Overall I am very satisfied with the heat settings and the power for my damaged hair.

I'm not sure what would prompt me to give a hairdryer five stars. Overall, this is much quieter than ones I've had in the past. The balance is good. It is a little heavier than ones I've had in the past. Probably the best dryer I've had. We'll see how long it lasts. I find small electronics inconsistent in their longevity. I've had this one for several months with no problems. The most I've spent on a dryer and at this point, I'd say worth it. I have long, fine but abundant hair. It looks like in the image. it is dark brown in color. it has longer length hair reaching/touching jawline and remaining hair are shorter than that. It is easy to comb (would recommend using wide teeth comb). Was easy to cut. Looks natural on Asian-Indian skin. Hair are smooth. It is not very sturdy/good quality to use for everyday. It shows stitching if not combed well and hair falls off if combed too much or roughly. I would recommend it for occasional use, not for everyday use.

But it is good for the price for sure.

This product looks nice and solid on the outside. (not cheapy). Its heavy but I didn't concentrate on that while I was blow drying my hair. The dryer blows my hair fast without taking all the moisture out of the hair.

I used this dryer again, this time trying out the switches. I was surprised that when I moved the upper switch (while the dryer was on) I noticed a small blue electricity type spark. It did it twice upon moving the switch while the product was turned on. This part is listed as #18 on the diagram.

The base of the product is made in Italy. And the power source or part you plug into the electrical socket and cord are made in China.

I recently found this Garnier product in my local Target and decided to purchase it. I had read previous reviews about another similar Garnier product called "The Blow Dry Perfector Kit," and was completely horrified by all the reviews I read. I thank my lucky stars that I did not try that product out myself, otherwise I am quite convinced that I would be bald. The vast majority of the people who used "The Blow Dry Perfector Kit" had a terrible experience which resulted in having the product completely ruin their hair. That being said, this product is something new that actually delivers promising results -not fried, broken, or damaged hair, but instead, it helps with giving you sleek, smooth, frizz-free hair. Not to mention SOFT hair!

My hair type is baby-fine hair that has a wave to it, and I don't have very much of it at all. I have bleached highlights in my hair & its shoulder-length. My hair also tends to frizz in the humidity, and I wrestle my hair with a blow-dryer and flat iron daily to get it completely straight. I picked this product up because of two reasons: 1) it did NOT say anywhere on the package that is "wasn't safe" for chemically treated/colored/highlighted hair, and 2) the product said that it contained Argan Oil, which I've always had great results with in the past.

Since I have such thin hair, I decided to first try out a pea-sized amount (well, more like the amount of 2 peas). I ran this product through damp, towel-dried hair. It had a creamy consistency and looked almost like a lotion for your hair. The scent was pleasant, not over-bearing in the least. I then blow dried my hair and was very pleased with the results. It made my hair very smooth without that "greasy" or heavy feeling. Since I have such fine hair, too much of any product seems to make it greasy/weight it down, but this hair creme certainly did not. I do think, however, that if you were to use TOO much of this product, that it might become greasy. It also made my hair feel very soft/supple, and it also seemed to completely tame the little frizzies & fly-aways that I have throughout my hair, or especially wherever I part my hair. Again, please note that this product is NOT the same as "The Blow Dry Perfector Kit" that had all the horrible reviews (which contains two bottles/products) -this is simply a leave-in styling aid that is like a creme/lotion made for your hair. This product is definitely worth a try!

I love love this product!!!! I am bi racial (black and white) and after getting my hair wet it is usually very frizzy. So I picked this up at target for like 3 dollars and I used it after treating my hair with extra virgin coconut oil and shampooing and conditioning with olive oil brand shampoo and aussie 3 minute miracle. After this process I used this product to blow dry and it turned out beautifully probably about 70% less frizzy and this made flat ironing sooooo much easier!!!! I will be using this religiously from now on.

For a $5 hair care product, this is definitely the best!! I have used other straightening creams, cheap and salon expensive ones, and this definitely works for me.

I have dry, thick, and frizzy hair. I wash my hair with Tresememe shampoo and conditioner. I use the flowing products on my wet hair: straightening cream, Infusium 23 leave-in conditioner, and a John Frieda anti-frizz serum. When I used the other straightening creams, and then used a flat iron to straighten it, my hair was still dry and frizzy. Of course, the dryness and frizziness got worse as the day went on.

I brought this product on a whim. I didn't know about it. I already was using a salon brand product, and the suave and John Frieda straightening creams that were sitting on my book shelf weren't working either. The first time I used it, I saw and felt the difference. My hair was soft, manageable, and remained straight throughout the day. My sister even noticed the difference!!! I wash my hair every other day because of the dryness. When I did wash my hair after using this project, but did not add any products to my hair and let it dry naturally, I noticed that my hair was still soft and manageable. I will continue to us this product, in combination with the other products, and hopefully it continues to give me the same results. I definitely would recommend this product!!

I bought this after reading so many good reviews and was hoping it would cut down on my blow dry time and provide smoother results for my wavy hair (I have VERY fine/thin hair that is a combo of wavy and straight-ish and frizzes easily, but is able to be strightened with some work). I don't know what i'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to get this to work for me. I've tried using varying amounts and still don't see where it does anything for my particular hair. It doesn't speed up my drying time at all, and I feel as if it almost makes my hair frizzier and leaves it with a weird texture, not at all smooth and silky. It also didn't hold up to humidity whatsoever. I'll stick to using Moroccan oil serum because it does help with speeding up dry time and providing nice texture (so long as you don't use too much serum). Just wanted something that would help straighten it better so it wouldn't be completely necessary to use a flat iron anymore.

However, I DO like to use this when I wear my hair in it's natural waves. Since it does have some argan oil in it, it helps a little with the frizzies, but I especially like it because it helps straighten out the waves a little so they're more "beachy". It helps softly define them and when I use it in combination with my leave in conditioner, I can leave it air dry and get nice results.

It's not expensive and there's alotta people who love it, so it's worth a shot. If nothing else, most stores will let you return something if you don't like it.

Best Hot Iron Holster - Original "Heat Resistant Holster for Hot Styling Deals

I have a tiny bathroom with no counter space. I've actually been letting my flat iron just lie in the sink while I use it, and I used a thick wool "hotpad" on a wood shelf to let it sit while it cools. Not a great solution. This thing clings like crazy! I have it on the toilet tank, and it sits to the side, very unobtrusive (a bamboo tray filled with beauty products happens to sit on top of it, hiding the flat surface of it, but it clings perfect without needing the tray on top). You have to almost peel it off it clings so well. I have it in purple, which matches my decor. It holds my flat iron (1", but should be fine with wider ones), with no problem. I highly recommend this, wish I had gotten it sooner, but really didn't care for that hot pink color.

For those that are curious, I did try it also on the thin edge of my sink, and it worked great there too, even though it isn't flat.

This is a great invention somebody should have thought of sooner. My oversize pedestal sink has a slope toward the oval bowl. Everything gravitates toward the slope and falls in the sink hair brush, blow dryer, Perfector styler... If it's on the side of the vanity, sooner or later it's going to end up in the sink. This solves the problem, keeps tools close at hand while using, and even protects surfaces from burning. Was a little leery it would hold, but it stuck tight. I might get a few as presents would make a great gift!

I have had the dryer about a year and it died. For the past few weeks I had to jiggle/shake as it would just shut off. Today if finally died. I expect a 5 year life, not one year.

The unit is fairly light, not too loud. I has good heat for my fine hair. I like the push bar to adjust speed/heat but I use it on high except to finish off. It has a cool button which I always used. I never had problems with accidently hitting the slide button and changing the settings. It does have a pop off cover on the back to catch the dust. Never had a problem with it sucking my hair into the fan. The overall features and style fit my needs. Price was low.

Maybe I was unlucky or maybe the quality is just bad, but a blower should last more than a year. I use it daily on fine hair so the dry time is really short.

I've had 2 of these dryers bought from Sally's over the last couple of years. I actually really liked them, but they get a break/tear in the cord near the handle and short out. They last about a year at the most. It's a shame it isn't a better quality dryer or I would buy one again.

Before I make a purchase I generally like to read the reviews, but I do take them with grain of salt. Everyone has their own opinion, and let's face it we're not all going to agree. I actually have never felt so strongly about a product that I felt the need to write a review. That is until now. I can't stress enough how disappointed I am in this dryer. I work hard for my money so I thought long and hard before forking out $ for a dryer 11 months ago. When it first arrived I loved it. It did what it said it would, it dried my hair faster, it was quiet and lightweight. My friends made fun of me for spending so much, but I have thick hair and I thought of it as an investment. I purchased it on February 8, 2008. Today is January 27, 2009 and my dryer is BROKEN. It overheats and sparks. This dryer had normal use (5 or 6x/week). .

As if I'm going to give them any more of my hard earned money. No thank you Bespoke labs. I will say that investing in a good dryer is worth it. Ask any hair stylist. My friend bought a Chi for about the same money, (maybe less) I tried it, and frankly I preferred it. It dried my hair even faster than the T3. For those of you who have and enjoy your T3s, I understand, I did too for 11 months. For those of you considering buying one, I would STRONGLY discourage it.

It's a very good dryer, as long as it works. It broke after about a year of little usage. I bought it for about $200 and thought it would last for much longer than that.

Only now I read it is NOT COVERED BY MANIFACTURER WARRANTY!!!

I would not buy it again, unless the manifacturer started covering it for at least 2 years.

I have had 2 T3's in the past three years, well technically three. My first T3 stopped working after a year and I purchased a second. My first broken one, my hairstylist was able to send back for me on her account and they fixed it and that became my back up. My then 2nd T3 worked for a year broke, and my back up (the repaired first T3) lasted 2 1/2 months. This is a great dryer while it works, but at 200 a pop, I expect it to last longer than a year, and I only dry my hair 2-3 times a week for 15 minutes. So, unfortunately I would say look elsewhere until they fix it. My former stylists owns a salon, they only use T3s however, she is constantly sending 3-4 of them back at a time to be replaced. The company will do that for stylists with great accounts for them but for the average purchaser you go through hoops to get it fixed. Not worth the hassle.

I purchased this hair dryer for $200 with the T3 volumizing lotion and Orlando Pita styling brush. I have never been so disappointed in a "salon quality" hair dryer. I am a blow-dry addict who watches my stylist closely when he blows my hair dry. I am very good at getting a salon quality blow-out at home. I used this product for 4 months, and it is sitting in the back of a drawer now. If I wasn't so busy, I would send it back and demand a full refund. I feel like I was duped. The strength of the dryer is poor, which results in dry fly-aways. It also does not get hot enough, so after you have spent 30 minutes blowing your hair dry, it looks like it is still damp and has been blown out with a super market dryer. I have used the babyliss and solano hair dryers in the past, and am going back to them. Don't fall for the hype this company may have a great publicist, but the product falls short.
