Buy Dove Damage Therapy Heat Defense Protect and Shine Mist, 8 Ounce
I really like the Dove Heat Defense spray. I feel that it protects my hair, adds shine, and I have received compliments on the scent and condition of my hair. I think it's nice for thicker hair but might weigh down finer hair if not used sparingly. Also, those with extremely dry hair should be forwarned that this spray does not have enough oils to substitute for proper moisturization of the hair through the application of hair oils or conditioning creams. I recommended a light application of oil or cream before using the spray.

So with the types of heat defense sprays you find out there you usually run in with one of 2 probs. Either its stiffs your hair up or it is greasy as heck!! Luckily you don't run into either of these with Dove. You get SOME shine but not the smooth silk effect you'd like. I am not sure of the heat defense in particular but my hair seems fine. Also if you want the soft silk anti frizziness I suggest just putting on some leave in conditioner before the spray.

My hair is fine and thin, but this Conair 2-in-1 Hot Air Styler gives my hair BODY! It's more for styling than drying, so it needn't be extremely hot, which would turn my hair to straw. Also I wouldn't want strong bursts of air blowing away the style. My mistake was to purchase it at a local store rather than at Amazon.com where it costs $10 less.
If you merely want a dryer, you might not like this, but if you want a styler, I recommend it. And it does dry as it styles. Towel dry first, of course.

I love these curling blow drying brushes! I am not handy enough to be able to roll my hair on a brush and blow dry it. I have used a curling blower drier for years. As they have worn out I have replaced them at the local department stores. They no longer carry much of a selection. So online shopping I have went. This brush comes with 2 brush sizes. The smaller size has hard bristles like I prefer but it is too small. The larger size I did want has soft bristles that don't work to curl the hair. Top the bottom drawer it goes. It curled my hair but took forever to make a curl and the curls wouldn't last, I thought it would come assembled so as I got the box I was so excited I just started putting pieces together without looking at the instructions but it was ridiculously too much to do , I simply regret buying this product ! I bought this brand after having a Chi dryer die within one year. If I spend $100+ on an item, I expect it to last at least a few years. My husband had to run to Walgreens to purchase me a cheap dryer when this Paul Mitchel one sparked in my hands. He said it smelled like burnt hair. I'm so disappointed because my hairdresser recommended this brand and I have searched for a dryer that works well and lasts. I'm still searching. This one is NOT worth the money. Before the explosion, the product started separating at the connection points, which is odd since I don't travel with it so it has not experienced any trauma.

I wear this wig primarily when I go out to nightclubs or when I GoGo dance. My hair is natural, but my natural curl is a little tighter than the wig's. All I do is put the back half of my hair in a bun and put the front half in rod curlers (while wet, I just put a little gel on my hair and then wrap them around the rods. I use maybe 6 rods to make 6 big curls and then pull the curls apart after they are dry to make more curls with less density. Takes less time and looks more natural that way). Drying: just sit under a dryer or use a blow dryer on your hair if you want it to dry fast. Otherwise, air drying shouldn't take more than an hour, depending on your hair type. The whole experience with this wig is great: It's easy, takes no time to do, and best of all I don't have to deal with having long hair all the time. Nice option for the look without the hassle.

Liked--past tense since it was acting up and shutting off on me and would not stay heated. I had to keep trying to turn it on and it was tempermental and seemed to decide for itself if it would or not. This product did a good job taming my hair when humidity had it 'frizzing' everywhere, which is why I bought it. However, this curling iron has some problems that are just too big to overlook. First of all...it is HOT! I have never found a hair care product to get as hot as this one. No instructions of any kind were included so when you see that it has a dial that ranges from 0-20 you just have to guess what is best. I thought I'd play it safe and set it on 10. I have burnt my forehead twice by just merely glancing my skin with the iron. I had burn marks that lasted about a week. I also burnt the counter in the bathroom were it rests while I use it. It is HOT! The second big problem I have found with it is that the controls are right where your hand holds on, so I am constantly switching it off without realizing it. I saw that this was a tourmaline curling iron and I thought great this will work with my fine hair.however unlike the Conair brand that I have this barely put a wave in my hair.
It did not heat up as quickly as I would have like (got warm in under 30 seconds but took over 90 seconds to get to full heat.
The controls were not as to use as my Conair either.

Great stuff!! I use this on my hair for 30 minutes before shhampoo, 2 times a month. Adds body, shine and volume. My hair is not extrememly dry, but this product has worked magic on hair that dried at the scalp during winter months. Also great for dry skin. May seem "greasy" at first but rubs right in and maintains a supple feel.

Not sure why the other reviewer had trouble with the heat. Mabe a defective dryer? I never put mine on the hottest setting would be too hot. Never had trouble with the cord, either, even though I bunch it up to put it in a drawer. Mine just broke a child grabbed it and it fell and I will definitely buy another.

This was the worst purchase ever. The dryer has no power and hardly gets warm let alone hot. The cord got so tangled, And wrapped upon itself I could no longer use the dryer. I tried to return the dryer but to much time had passed. Awful for a professional dryer. Terrible do not buy this dryer.

Needed a new hair dryer after my Conair Ion Shine broke, so as I saw this on Groupon for sale, I opted to try out a new brand.
Although the style is fabulous, it is pretty heavy. Dry time is also not as fast as I would have hoped, even on the highest and hottest setting (and I have fine, long hair, so it should dry fairly fast). Also, no swivel cord, and it's pretty loud on the highest setting.
On the plus side, it does leave my hair pretty soft, even without putting on hair treatments, or heat protectors, and the heat is just warm enough that it doesn't burn my scalp like my old Conair did. Also, the filter is supposedly removable so you can clean it out. Have not used it long enough to see if this works, but will try it soon.
An okay dryer in my opinion it's not worth the $200 list price, but on sale at $50, it'll do the job.The blow dryer is very very heavy and it was suppose to be 2000 watt and it is 1600 watt they are dirty!!!!
