I bought this brand after having a Chi dryer die within one year. If I spend $100+ on an item, I expect it to last at least a few years. My husband had to run to Walgreens to purchase me a cheap dryer when this Paul Mitchel one sparked in my hands. He said it smelled like burnt hair. I'm so disappointed because my hairdresser recommended this brand and I have searched for a dryer that works well and lasts. I'm still searching. This one is NOT worth the money. Before the explosion, the product started separating at the connection points, which is odd since I don't travel with it so it has not experienced any trauma.
