I can't stress enough of how cute this dryer is! It is the size of a glue gun (could easily fit in your pocketbook) and just gorgeous. Not super powerful, but exceptional for the size. My friends think it is the berries!

Joico K-PAK Quadraion Pro-Dryer Reviews
This dryer was great for about 3 months, if that, and then it started making a terrible grinding noise. I took it back to the store thinking I got a lemon and they exchanged it immediately when they turned it on ans heard the sound. The second one I had for maybe 6 months before it started making the exact same noise. My husband took it apart to see if he could find the source and it seems the reason is due to th cheap plastic blades inside rub against the casing. There was nothing he could do to fix it, and so I am going to attempt to return/complain and then make sure I come home with a babyliss instead. My previous hair dryer (babyliss pro 2800) lasted for nearly 10 years without failure... Until my cat knocked it off the counter and broke it.
The company was great though. The first one I receved was broken and they sent a new one before I could get the broaken dryer back to them.

I was looking for a high quaulity hair dryer and had higher expectations for this one considering the cost. I can't see a difference between this one and the one I bought at the drug store. It does not have nearly as much power as I had expected. It may take some time to get used to it but so far I am not impressed.The company was great though. The first one I receved was broken and they sent a new one before I could get the broaken dryer back to them.

I had a less expensive dryer before this that worked just as well for less cost. I purchased this one less than a year ago, and mine also makes an annoying sound. Today it stopped blowing the hot air, my hair was barely even moving. So I am sending it in under the warranty for repair. Also, I blow dry my hair maybe once a week (naturally curly), so I am sure it has been used less than 50 times in a year.

I love this hair dryer. I am comparing it to my Super Solano Big red hair dryer that I purchased a year ago from Ulta Salon for about $70 dollars.I have to say that it does feel like my hair is softer and smoother after using this dryer. It is extremely light and powerful. Overall, this dryer is a real pleasure to use. It comes with a black pocketed bag that you can store it in, which is also nice.

I have full size T3 for the home, and I wanted a compact T3 for travel (because no one wants to have a bad hair-day on vacation; think of the pictures!) I need a decent dryer to handle my long hair. Hotel dryers are always pretty cheap, and my old mini travel was useless. T3 travel dryer is pretty comparable to the full size. You still get fairly fast dry times, softer hair, no frizz, and more volume. The only difference between the Travel and Full size is that the Travel drying times are a bit longer. It also comes with a little travel pouch, as an added bonus.You can certainly get away with buying the travel dryer for home use to save money over the regular one (which normally runs $200, and you really have to wait out the sales). It works better than a typical semi-professional dryer in the same price range (works better than my old Tool Science dryer, which was about $60).
My favorite thing about the T3s is that they can actually handle restyling my hair when it's already dry (none of my old dryers could ever do this; I had to spray water in my hair and re-dry).
Another review mentioned the drier did not have a serial number on the nozzle. This was not my experience. My dryer had the sticker with the serial number under the nozzle (look for a clear label that says DANGER). I highly recommend registering your product on the T3 website. I had problem with my full size dryer (not this travel size one), and the T3 Co, honored their warranty and fixed it.

I've had this hair drying system for around 2 years now. I use it daily and I absolutely love it. I purchased mine at the Family Dollar for around $30. For reference, my hair is long, baby fine and wavy. My hair also takes forever to dry naturally. I use this on the hot, turbo, Ion Shine setting and it works wonderfully to give my otherwise dull looking hair a nice, healthy sheen. It will dry my hard-to-dry hair in less than 5 minutes.
This blow dryer has three temperature options for blow drying: hot, cold and warm. It also has a sliding switch for turning the Ion Shine feature on/off. It has two blow drying settings of low/high. It also has a switch for the turbo setting or the cold setting (for setting your style).

Purchased this after seeing all the reviews and a recommendation from my hair stylist. I tried a new hairstyle for one year (African-American, Natural hair, cut in a short bob, straightened by a flat iron with NO chemical use) and this came in handy after my old one busted, heated up, and made sparks fly. This was is pretty light weight, comes with all the attachments, can be cleaned and stored very easily and the noise level is about average. I have not used a makeup mirror in a very, very long time; however, wanted to try one to see how they have changed over the years. This is very similar to one I had a long time ago except that it has 5X magnification which is very helpful to me since I wear glasses and sometimes cannot see exactly how much coverage I am getting with my makeup. You can flip the mirror from normal magnification to 5X.
The slider bar at the bottom allows you to change color from Daylight, Office, Evening and Home. Since I do not have a lot of natural light in my bathroom, the Daylight works great. At least I know I can leave the house not looking like I put clown makeup on.
There is a plug in for other electrical appliances, but I am not sure this makeup mirror is sturdy enough to plug something like a curling iron in and move it around without making the mirror fall over so that is not useful to me.

I guess this mirror might be liked more than others, but most of the time my mom goes back to to tradtional bathroom mirror.
She does use it once and a while though, when the bathroom is occupied.
Like I said, this product was'nt a big hit in our household, its just okay.

This mirror is better for the younger set who doesn't need the extra magnification to see. My daughter really loves this mirror and the different light settings are great for deciding how to wear make-up. When I was younger, I had a mirror like this with different settings for the light such as night time, and I remember the mirror as being really cool. I find when I use this make-up mirror, I miss the super mag of my other mirror, I am probably just used to it and like it better because of that.This is a really appealing mirror to a teen or for someone in their twenties who goes out at night and perhaps spends time under florescent lighting, they can apply make-up accordingly and it's fun to try different make-up techniques with the different settings.
This mirror does require some space on a counter or table and it has a plug in cord. My other make-up mirror uses batteries or electricity for the lighting and has a simple, small bulb. I am not sure where to purchase the lighting for this type of mirror should one of the lights go out. I do like the style of the bulbs that are verticle on each side of the mirror for thorough lighting. This mirror is perfect for my daughter to apply her make-up and then flip the mirror if she needs to pluck her eyebrows. It's very convenient and easy to use.

The bad,
Side lights do not move or tilt so I cannot adjust where the light hits my face when I am closer or farther from the mirror. This makes it impossible to use the magnifying side of the mirror with the existing side lights.
Being a near sighted woman who wears only glasses, I put my make on without my glasses obviously. I therefore need to be very close up and pull back, very close up and pull back and the Jerdon Euro Style rigid Lighted Makeup Mirror does not provide enough light at various distances (we are talking to a varience of inches) to apply my makeup.
Would work well for someone who wears contacts, or without a vision issue.

I had my hair stylist use something like this on me at the salon while my hair was cooling off. My hair curls and waves with braids so when I get out of the shower and blow my hair to just about damp I roll it up it to the balls and when I am ready to leave the house they are all dry and very curly. If I want to keep the tight curl I just use hair spray if I want it looser i full my fingers through and then hair spray.

I've only had this dryer for a little over a week, so I will be sure to update my review once I've had it a bit longer. For now I just want to say that I love this device! It makes drying your hair so easy, and it makes for frizz-free hair.
I bought this dryer since I've recently started coaxing out the waves and curls in my hair. Using a diffuser on the end of my blowdryer has helped bring out the curl, but I get impatient with drying, and end up moving the blowdryer around too much, which leads to frizz. Based on research I did online, I learned that dryers like this Hot Tools one are great for curly/wavy hair, and I definitely agree! Using the same products and techniques before drying, I've found that using this Hot Tools dryer leaves me with zero frizz and lovely curls/waves.
It is extremely easy to set this up for the first time (it took me less than five minutes), and, once it's set up, is very easy to maneuver and adjust so that it is positioned exactly how and where you want it to be. If it's not exactly where I want it to be while I'm drying, I can easily turn around while sitting on my stool and adjust it so that it is right where I want it to be.
One reviewer mentioned that you could do makeup while using this, and I had been hoping to do the same so I could save time with my morning routine. I've found that I can apply my foundation, blush, etc. while under this dryer, but because I have to get in close to my makeup mirror to do my eye makeup, I can't sit under the dryer while doing my eyes. I usually set it up, though, at my vanity and check email or do work on my laptop while my hair is drying. It's great for multitasking!
It also works great for deep conditioning treatments that require the use of heat.
I almost didn't purchase this since some of the reviews suggested that the top helmet wasn't too sturdy and had a tendency to break off. I had also been worried about it being unstable, but have found neither of these areas to be a problem. The helmet portion is securely attached, and when I wheel it around or move it to the spare bathroom where I store it, I just make sure that I support the helmet portion so that it won't snap off. It seems like it is really secure, though.
On one side of the helmet/hood portion is the phrase "Purple people heater," which cracks me up each time I use it.
All in all, I'm really glad I got this! As mentioned above, I will be sure to update my review once I see how this holds up with more use, but so far it's fantastic!
UPDATE ON 5/13/11: I've had this dryer for a little over four months, and continue to love it. It works really well, is sturdy, and makes multi-tasking while drying my hair so simple. I really recommend it!
UPDATE ON 7/13/11: This is still working great, with no problems at all! I also wanted to add that I recently had my hair cut by a curly hair specialist who does Deva Cuts, and she said that hard-hat dryers like this one are the best thing to use for curly and wavy hair types.
UPDATE ON 11/1/11: I've had this dryer now for about ten months, and it's still going strong. It works perfectly, and is still sturdy and easy to use.
UPDATE ON 7-27-13: This dryer is still going strong, and I love it for deep conditioning treatments. However, my hair is now mid-back, and it's too long to fit under this. That being said, this still works great for drying, and has held up really well.

Right after assembling this dryer, the small plactic part that holds the dryer head to the base snapped. This plastic post, which is weakened by the holes drilled through it for the three attachment rivets, is poorly designed and too weak to handle the torque created by the weight of the dry head. I love this dryer! It has a higher wattage than the other brands of similar dryers, and it looks better too!It is not only beautiful but works FAST! I got it to dry my hair in the morning before work, while I put on my make up. I hate standing with a blow dryer!!! I just pin my hair up with a few big clips and sit under this dryer and by the time my make up is done, my hair is dry.
I do still blow dry my bangs first to keep them smooth, but the rest dries in a natural wave due to the gentle air flow from the dryer.
It gets really hot, but you can also set it to a lower temp if you want. But I like it hot so my hair dries fast.
I also like the fact it is on wheels and easy to roll around and get out of the way. My old drier was the type that sits on a desk and it was a hassle to get to the correct height, this one is easy to move up and down.

I was very disappointed with this dryer. First of all, the high heat setting feels like the depths of Hades and the low heat setting blows cold air on you. I have natural 3c/4a hair that takes a long time to dry...but this dryer really helps to speed up the process. This hairdryer is a really great solution if you are like me and hate those old school hair dryers that you have to put on the table... I could never get the right chair height to sit under it. This hair dryer is really simple to put together... and then you can watch a movie with subtitles or surf the internet while it works...The one problem that I had with my first one is that I was a little careless and moved it by picking it up and not supporting the head... it snapped off and I had to get another one... so just be careful and know that the best way to move this around is by rolling it...

Fit dryer perfectly. It's very snug, however, which is good so that it doesn't easily fall off. Tip on installation --Recommend placing the diffuser face down on counter and insert the dryer nozzle straight down. This worked right away.
Cheap Conair 294 Infiniti Pro 1875-Watt Hair Dryer
This hairdryer is very quiet as far as hair driers go and gets my hair dry much faster than my old one. Granted the old one was over 10 years old, but still. I would say I'm cutting my drying time by 5 minutes. I have long, thick hair and tons of it, so the faster my hair dries, the better! Plus given the ceramic put into it, it shouldn't be as damaging as other driers might be.

It took almost 2 weeks for the product to arrive. Double the time estimated when I ordered. When I received the product it was in a makeshift leftover, reused box. The box was smashed and the interior product box was smashed as well. The shipper was very negligent. Do not blame the postal method. The product should have been packaged properly and should have been sent in a timely postal fashion. I like the air brush wand, yet repeatedly the brush attachment gets stripped and it just turns around without the secured reenforcement. Very dissatisfied with the shipper. My older model hot air curling brush had a release button so that the barrel would turn and your hair never got tangled. That's the main reason I purchased this Helen of Troy model. 2 problems: 1) the bristles aren't long enough and the brush part can barely grasp my shoulder-length, fine, straight hair (unlike my old unit); and 2) it made my hair noticeably frizzy. Very disappointing and I will be purchasing one of the non-turning ceramic/tourmaline models that promises not to frizz your hair.

Overall I really like this conditioner. My hair is relaxed and dry and I was attracted to it because it is sulfate free. The first time I used the conditioner, I was planning on leaving it in for a while because I wanted to deep condition. However, after about 5 minutes my scalp started to burn from the mint, so I had to rinse it out. However, when I used it after that first time and left the conditioner in a for a few minutes it no longer burns. I am not sure if I am used to it or if I simply have been rinsing it out after just a short period of time. It makes my hair soft and full. I recommend it to anybody with dry hair. I love the smell but it just may not be the best product to deep condition with.

I use this the most in my conditioner rotation. I don't shampoo daily (but when I do, it's with the EverStrong Shampoo). For curly hair, I use conditioner daily and scrub it in as if it were shampoo. I have excellent results with this product, as does my husband (he also has curly hair and until now, complains that conditioning products cause his hair to go flat). No flatness with this product. L'Oreal -please do not take this product off the market. I absolutely love this product and it has completely transformed my dry, brittle hair into soft, silky, moisturized hair. My hair was damaged -chemically processed and flat ironed daily! Now when I comb my hair, I do not experience any breakage. My hair is super-moisturized and softer than I can describe. I can't stop touching my hair throughout the day because it feels so amazing. I was a classic too-manly-for-hair-care male until I recently resolved (out of either vanity or self-respect, or maybe both) to start attending more carefully to my health/appearance/grooming. Hair is, of course, at the front line of that battle, so I interrogated some professional hair people and did some Internet browsing and learned that hair care is only partly a matter of what products you use. Healthy hair is also the result of things like drinking water and eating right and avoiding excessive sun or heat. Hair is, in fact, the most reliable indicator of whether a person is healthy. (See the Wikipedia page on "hair care," for starters.) And I learned that when it comes to hair products, I should look for ones that say "hydrating." (This as opposed to "moisturizing," which merely gives the appearance of hydration.) That's because hydrated hair is pretty much what healthy hair *is.*I then spent a decent (if not ridiculous) amount of time browsing Amazon's hydrating hair products and reading the reviews, and then I experimented with 5 different, relatively inexpensive products.
The bottom line is that none of the 5 products are magical but I have noticed a mild to moderate improvement in shine, darkness, and thickness. (If you have recommendations for a near-magical product, I'm counting on you to let me know.) Given what I've seen from the different products, I will probably settle into a routine of using a small amount of the Frieda shampoo and conditioner daily, and then using an overnight treatment maybe once a month (but probably not the L'Oreal one).
That doesn't mean I recommend (or don't) any of these products for you. Another thing I learned while researching hair is that we are all unique little flowers with very different filaments on our noggins that respond differently to different things. So rather than recommending a particular product, I recommend that you do some trials and see what works for you.
Below is a detailed review of each product.
* L'Oreal EverStrong Conditioner (My rating: 3.2 stars) (Current price: $0.66/ounce) This seems to have the same effect as the Frieda conditioner (see below), except that it makes my hair even slightly more helmet-y. Also, it has an initially-strong scent that faintly lingers in my hair all day, even when I only use a dime-sized amount. It's a smell that I would describe as endurable but not pleasant.
* John Frieda Frizz-Ease Shampoo (4.3 stars) ($0.60/ounce) It works noticeably better than my old shampoo (Aussie Smooth). With this shampoo, my hair stays wet after a shower about 40% longer and it retains a subtle moisture all day. After a shower, when I comb my wet hair, I can hardly even feel it because there is so little resistance against the comb. In other words, my hair becomes a weird combination of wet and airy. The shampoo seems to work best when I leave it in for a minute or two before rinsing. I only need to use about a nickel-sized amount (I have medium-to-shaggy hair). It has a scent that is a little too much like a household cleaning product, but it's a faint smell and goes away after the shower.
* John Frieda Frizz-Ease Conditioner (3.8 stars) ($0.54/ounce) If the shampoo does most of the moisturizing "work," then the conditioner seems kind of like the sealant to lock it in and protect it all day, and to make your hair more "manageable." This conditioner does that job well enough but I only use a little bit of it because it makes my hair a little too helmet-y for my liking. Maybe you like that from a conditioner--I don't. I prefer that my hair move in the breeze. This conditioner would probably have a more desirable effect for people with long (at least shoulder-length) hair. As for the scent, I would describe it as "neutral."
* Paul Mitchell leave-in conditioner (3.0 stars) ($1.03/ounce) My second-biggest complaint with this product is that it is sort of annoying to apply after the shower, you have to dab a few blotches of it onto your damp hair and then brush it through. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't seem to be doing anything beyond what the other conditioners do. It works well enough and makes my hair nice and dark and helmet-y but so do the other conditioners. Plus, I don't think it's doing much to make my hair healthier because you only apply it to the end of the hair and not to the scalp. That means it also requires a good amount of the blue gel to work it through all of your hair.
* L'Oreal EverStrong Overnight Treatment (2.5 stars) ($1.76/ounce) I have only used it a few times but haven't noticed anything magical. You apply it to dry hair at night, work it through the ends, and then sleep with your hair in a mildly goopy state. I didn't check carefully, but I would be surprised if your hair doesn't leave a mark on your pillowcase. And it takes a lot of goop, even for a guy with reasonably short hair like me. Maybe it would be worth it if it gave my hair a brilliant luster or thickness, but it doesn't seem to do much at all, at least not above what the shampoo and conditioner are already doing. I am unlikely to get it again.

P.S. Many of these same products are probably available at your local Wal-Mart (or whatever), and probably for a 10-25% lower price.
P.P.S. A couple years ago, I experimented with using no hair products at all... for months. I had read some caveman-y theories about how hair products damage our hair because they crowd out the natural moisturizing chemicals and blah blah. All I can say is that it didn't work for me. It's true that my hair during those months was surprisingly less nappy and gross than I expected, and it's maybe even true that the artificial chemicals we put on our scalps have some serious, unwelcome consequences, but all I can say is that I much prefer how my hair looks and feels after it's been shampooed, to the point that I'm willing to take whatever risks those chemicals may pose.

I absolutely love this product! I had a sample of the shampoo, conditioner, and overnight repair treatment. I could not believe the results. I rushed out to buy it. I am African-American and had a problem with the texture of my hair. After perms, it would feel brittle and look dry. I don't use grease because it clogs the pores; however, when I use these products, my hair looks awesome. And the fragrance smells so good. I live by this product now. I plan to purchase my next set at Amazon because the savings increase with subscription. Good job Loreal. Finally, a company that caters to the African-American community as well!
