This dryer was great for about 3 months, if that, and then it started making a terrible grinding noise. I took it back to the store thinking I got a lemon and they exchanged it immediately when they turned it on ans heard the sound. The second one I had for maybe 6 months before it started making the exact same noise. My husband took it apart to see if he could find the source and it seems the reason is due to th cheap plastic blades inside rub against the casing. There was nothing he could do to fix it, and so I am going to attempt to return/complain and then make sure I come home with a babyliss instead. My previous hair dryer (babyliss pro 2800) lasted for nearly 10 years without failure... Until my cat knocked it off the counter and broke it.

I was looking for a high quaulity hair dryer and had higher expectations for this one considering the cost. I can't see a difference between this one and the one I bought at the drug store. It does not have nearly as much power as I had expected. It may take some time to get used to it but so far I am not impressed.
The company was great though. The first one I receved was broken and they sent a new one before I could get the broaken dryer back to them.

I am a professional stylist and was very excited about the concept of this dryer. Initially I enjoyed using this dryer as my main "tool" to dry my clients hair with, but it didn't take long before it started making this annoying sound. I found myself having to apologize to my clients for the ringing in their ears.

I had a less expensive dryer before this that worked just as well for less cost. I purchased this one less than a year ago, and mine also makes an annoying sound. Today it stopped blowing the hot air, my hair was barely even moving. So I am sending it in under the warranty for repair. Also, I blow dry my hair maybe once a week (naturally curly), so I am sure it has been used less than 50 times in a year.
