With this wand, you get a little black glove and you wrap your hair like a figure eight around the wand. The reason for the glove is that the wand gets very, very hot, thus, it curls your hair very well quickly.

This wand with the double prong, is better for long hair and it can make it look wonderful with bouncy light curls that last. People with shorter hair will have a hard time wrapping their hair, but you can also use one prong for shorter hair but you have a harder time wrestling it around the prongs.

When you use this type of product, make sure you also have some hair protector on-hand or over time it can burn your hair. A protector will often add shine and protect your hair from the high heat. The high heat is what makes it so effective and fast to use.

If you like the bouncy curl look and have longer hair, this is a dream product. For shorter hair, using one side of the wand would work but other products may work a lot better.

I purchased this product and after trying it several times and watching a few how-to videos on You Tube, I have determined that it probably works only if you have very long hair. My hair is medium-long (about 2" past my shoulders) and I'm really not able to get enough hair wrapped around the tool to create the types of waves I was hoping for.

I have wanted a curling wand for several months but never had the money for the brand I was eyeing, this is a decent substitute. I have layered hair that is maybe 3 inches passed the top of my shoulders. I didn't have any problems with using this and I also don't style my hair very often so it isn't that I'm a pro already. I didn't like the look of my hair after weaving it around both rods so I just use one instead and it came out great, though it took some getting used to having to bypass the second rod. I added a picture. I will definitely use this on a regular basis. I love the body it gives my hair. I have color-treated straight fine hair that doesn't hold much of a curl after the first hour, but the style I created actually stayed in my hair all evening and night, until bed. It took about 20-25 minutes the first time to do my entire head. I am right handed thus hold the styler with my right hand and it makes curling the right side of my head a little more cumbersome. The glove takes getting used to when sectioning your hair while wearing it but it is necessary. I am thinking about replacing the glove that came with it with a better quality one.

I can imagine that it might be a useful tool for someone with long, straight, unlayered hair. This tool also left my hair extra dry and somewhat frizzy. I immediately washed my hair after trying to use this to get rid of the strange waves and frizz that it created. For me, this turned out to be one of those products that sounds to good to be true in my case, it was.

As others have mentioned, the Wrap to Waves Styler works best on longer hair, and when used, it gives the hair a bit of definition. There was a noticeable difference in my daughter's hair when we used this on it compared to a regular curler. The lightweight design is a plus too. There are 13 heat settings (Low to 30), and the higher you go, the tighter the hair will be.

At the current price, you could do a lot worse.

After pricing very similar appearing units priced at $260 at the local Lamps Plus store, we decided to save about $200 and give this unit a try. The unit has only been up for a few weeks, but so far my wife is quite pleased with it. I was worried that the arm mechanism wouldn't hold up but it doesn't get moved all that frequently and feels secure enough, so I think it will last. The light isn't all that bright, but my wife says it is fully adequate for her 65 year-old eyes. So far it's looking like a good investment.

Great product. You just have to use an electrical box rather than the enclosed molly bolts. It is too heavy for bolts. I used a little home engineering to get it in the wall adjacent to a stud near an electrical source and installed it in a few minutes.

Some years ago we stayed at a nice B&B and loved the lighted swing arm magnifying mirror in the bathroom. We soon bought one for ourselves and liked it a lot. But it is shiny brass and we recently remodeled our 1995 bathroom and replaced all the brass/chrome bathroom fixtures with oil rubbed bronze. Our brass mirror looked out of place so wI was thrilled to find this Jerdon mirror and hardwired model was a real plus for us. The old mirror was a plug-in, so to use my blow dryer I had to unplug the mirror every day. Since we were remodeling, it was easy to install this hardwired mirror while we were working on the electricity.

Our old mirror was just a magnifier and this Jerdon mirror flips so you have normal mirror on one side or magnifying on the reverse--great product and I highly recommend it.

If your eyes are over forty, ladies, this mirror is a "must have." It provides just enough light to eliminate the shadows cast from other lighting in your bathroom. The magnifying side makes applying your eye make-up so much easier. Once you get spoiled using this mirror you won't want to be without it! Also, it's much cheaper to buy on Amazon. I did a lot of online research looking for a mirror like this and this particular mirror, sold by Amazon, was the best deal I could find. I seriously doubt that all the more expensive "fancier" mirrors will work any better than this one. Also, I had a Jerdon brand lighted wall mirror in my old house. It worked perfectly well for many years. I would have taken it with me when I moved but I didn't want to leave a hole in the wall.

I have very curly hair. I was looking for a curling iron with tangle free, ceramic combs to replace the one I have which has been discontinued. I decided to try this product and was pleased with the results. It does hold the hair in place while drying so this eliminates blow drying then curling. The release button works great for tangle free. If there is anything I would like to change perhaps I would like for the temperature to get a little hotter. This is the very BEST hairstyler and hair dryer in one! I have very fine, thick, shoulder lenght hair and was a little skeptical that this product would be usefull for me. It is! Just tried it for the first time and very happy with the results. I have VERY fine hair that is hard to style. This brush picked up all of my layers and gave me more volume than I've been able to achieve with other types of stylers. Just be careful if you get the 3/4" barrel as it catches in my hair if I put too much into it. I had a 1" before and it didn't do that. I like the extra lift with the 3/4" versus a 1", so this is a "keeper".

I'm happy with the Ion Conditioning Hard Hat Dryer, but I can't give it 5 stars because there is no "middle" temperature setting! Low doesn't seem to be powerful enough, while the high was almost burning my scalp! I've opted for using the high setting but purposely placing the dryer further above my head than I'd normally do. Other than that, everything's fine.

I didn't use my dryer frequently; however, I didn't get too many uses out of it either. I purchased this item directly from Sally's, and it quit on me after a few uses--it just stopped working. Unfortunately, I didn't keep my receipt, so I had to count it as a loss and throw it away. I'm not sure if the particular one that I purchased was defective, or is it the brand itself, but I don't think I will chance it by purchasing another one.

This hairpiece is very fun and it actually blends in very well with my own hair. This is synthetic hair, but it does not look super-fake. It is full and you can style it in a variety of styles. Not being natural hair, I would not apply heat to it, but you can still arrange it in ways that give you several radical different looks. In direct sunlight the color difference is strongest it pretty much looks like the picture: a dark brown with quite a bit of red in it. Outside of direct sunlight it blends it pretty nice with my hair color and texture, so no complaints. If I put a scarf or headband over it, it would probably make it seamless (I have waist long hair so I cannot comb it over the hairpiece as the instructions advise). The clip on it is very secure, the packaging was very good (it features a small net to keep it in place during shipping/storing). It also comes with two additional clips. I was very satisfied with the purchase and the service of the company. I did not order this for everyday, but for a fun occasional look and it is great at that. I'm considering getting other items from this company.

These matched my hair perfectly, clipped securely, and were cut really well. I have other clip ons from Put on pieces and they aren't cut as nicely. I used these for a formal event on a cruise ship because I knew I wouldn't have much time to do my hair after being on the islands and in the water all day (and I have really long hair). So I would slick it back into a pony tail, clip the bangs on the front and do a bun or braid and tah dah formal ready hair in 5 minutes flat! Excellent! This is made completely of plastic. From the pictures, there appeared to be metal. The description of the product does not provide the material. The product box also does not reveal the type of plastic. Amazon needs to provide additional detail on this product. If you are okay with plastic to hold a hot hair dryer, this might be okay. I do not feel safe using it to hold a hot hair dryer that has been in use. It's headed back.
