We have a 5X mirror that we wanted to replace with this 8X version, but this seems more like 3X not strong enough. Magnification doesn't seem to be consistent across manufacturers. I guess we need to keep looking.

i bought these because i like having abnormal colored hair but my new job will not allow me to have anything except a natural color. these came extremely fast, within 2 days of my order. the color is just like the upclose photo and the hair didnt have much damage to it. reason i only put 4 stars though is the hair within the first inch of the clip is much thicker and looks a bit ratty compared to the rest of the piece. id still recommend this product for anyone looking for a fun clip in hair color.

It came packaged flat and in good condition. You can curl it if you want to. At 16 inches it is very long. The clip stays in securely. If you want streaks of color in your hair, try colored extensions first! You might prefer it to damaging your hair with bleach.

Only wish it wasn't quite so dark and a little brighter (it's kind of like superman's blue highlights if you know what I mean.) and It's stick straight...which doesn't blend as well as if it had a little movement but beats the heck out of one I got from another brand that was a complete curl... for the price some fun.

I bought this product after my daughter's old one finally broke. I didn't care for the others I saw online. Then I typed one in on Amazon and there it was, the exact one she was looking for! This hair dryer does not balance well when placed on a table or desk and will easily tip over if unattended. This problem comes for the first time after using the Hot Tools label over the past 25 years.

I choose Salerm 21 B5 Silk Protein, because it make my hair feel soooo healthy after i wash it and put this leave-in conditioner on it. I love it when i blow dry my hair with the FHI blow dryer, it gives my hair so much body. Once i dry my hair i put maybe a dime size of the Marrakesh hair oil in it and then i flat iron and wrap it. i leave my hair wrap for an hour and comb it down and boi ol boi my hair blow with the wind, looks so full, and bouncy. I will recommend this product to every Stylist in the whole world, and the reason why i gave this products the ratting i did because it deserves it, didn't let me down so i will not down grade it

Wonderful flat iron. Heats quickly, compact, great custom heat settings and I love that I can use it on wet hair. I usually blow dry till damp then use it. My hair is smooth and shinny and it does not catch and pull my hair like some other irons have. I've even used it to "iron" my daughters dress while on vacation :P

I can't believe Amazon stopped carrying this item. I bought it only about a month ago and absolutely love it! I said good-bye to my hair dryer and my curling iron (which I was using more as a straightener to calm the frizzies the hair dryer caused.)

I have long, thick, wavy, and slightly frizzy hair. I am always on the look out for quality straighteners at a low price. I owned the Conair CS26JCS wet/dry straightener for about 6 months until it stopped heating up. Up until that point, I loved the straightener. I'm not sure how long this product says it's suppose to last but if it's used everyday, it's definitely not going to last you more than 6 monthsnot unless, you want to keep going over what you just straightened because it didn't hold.

I used the smaller bottle which I thought was great, but I decided that I would spend the extra money and pick this up at a local store because it would last me longer. Well I will be buying this from now on, because it is different from the small bottle. The formula in this is much silkier, smooth, feels great in my hands and on my hair. After using this I followed that with my moisturizing deep conditioner Giovanni Deeper Moisture Conditioner. I believe also after using this that I experienced less breakage than when I use the other bottle. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because it did not stop my breakage completely. The breakage I'm experiencing is very minimal like under 5 strands a day or none when I finger comb my hair and that's after using it just once in two weeks. The second time I wash, it didn't eliminate breakage that I have on wash day's, but that's normal for me because I have alot of hair and it's thick and tangles easily especially in the root where I have to massage my scalp. I will have to try a protein treatment from another company that is a little stronger than this to see if it eliminates some of the breakage I'm experiencing, because I don't think I need to use the mayo treatment from ORS which is for severe breakage. In all this is a great product if you just want to supplement your hairs protein needs if you have minimal breakage

I used my friend's Barbar Italy to see what was so special about it. The answer is nothing. A $20 dryer at Target or wherever is just as good, on some even better. It dries hair and that's it. I even asked my stylist about it and she literally laughed out loud. P.T. Barnum's famous saying must have been written just for this product (if he had been around). I am literally stunned that someone would take use any hard-earned or even inherited money on this the only people who would buy this is definitely in the 1%. It's embarrassing to be an American and have the world see how thoughtfully we spend our money. The 80s must be coming back where the saying was "greed is good." Shameful.

This hairdryer is very quiet as far as hair driers go and gets my hair dry much faster than my old one. Granted the old one was over 10 years old, but still. I would say I'm cutting my drying time by 5 minutes. I have long, thick hair and tons of it, so the faster my hair dries, the better! Plus given the ceramic put into it, it shouldn't be as damaging as other driers might be.

Very happy with my decision and it's a great value for the price too!

These are fantastic for a variety of occasions! They're really fun for dances, parties, or raves. They clip into hair easily and stay well. A friend of mine had a rave themed birthday party for a friend and there were tons of glow sticks and glow jewelry that you see fairly often. These however are seen less frequently and so attract more attention.

The seller's description that the barrette is "thin" and can be worn "under the hair so that only the lights are visible" is a farce. While the barrette is small in shape, it has a significant thickness to it, and any attempt to hide it in medium thickness hair continually resulted in the barrette being clearly visible. Those with straight or fine hair will most certainly find the product disappointing. In addition, the barrette lights up very bright much, much brighter than the fiber optic strands, further detracting from the point of this item, which is the fiber optic strands. So now you have this bright flashing object blinking on your head like you're some kind of traffic light.

I bought several of these items as stocking stuffers. The first one out of the package needed fiddling with in order to get it to function at all. The design is such that the batteries are too loose in the barrette enclosure and thus they do not make good contact with the electrical contacts. A couple hours later, it once again stopped functioning, and I had to take the whole thing apart to adjust the contacts so that they would continuously transmit the batteries' electricity. In doing so, the tiny little tabs that hold the cover in place broke off. Yes, I was as careful and gentle as I could be, but the plastic tabs are so tiny, any kind of pressure will obviously cause them to break, which they did do.

I have not inquired as to the remainder of the ones I bought that I gave away to others' children, so I can't honestly say that EVERY one had the same design/manufacturing flaws.

At the end of the day, it's a cheap little gift, and as long as you don't have high expectations for it (or expect the description to be accurate), have the patience to fiddle with thing (and have some glue or tape on standby) it can be a fun while it lasts.

I really liked these in my hair. They lasted the whole night and looked pretty neat I think my boyfriend was jealous that they didn't have any for short boys hair! I was at a loss for how to turn them off until I realized that the back panel slides off and you can take out the batteries. AND even better to use these hair lights for my party and then get the BONUS of having 2 extra round batteries after to use for other things can never have enough of those batteries!

I have been finding little fiber-optic strands around my apartment though, which leads me to believe some of the 'hairs' fell out, but not enough to be noticeable on the barrette.

I have very straight, fine hair, but I have lots of it. I'm always struggling to find something that will give me all-day volume.

My hairdresser used the large round Morrocan Oil hairbrush when I got my hair cut last time, so I thought I would order one and give it a go. Wow. The brush manages to hold onto my fine hair and really allows me to blow dry for lots of volume. The ceramic core means my hair dried quickly. The hairbrush feels great against my scalp--it's very soft--but yet managed to get through the thickness.

I never thought I would be able to duplicate the volume that I get when my pro hairdresser does my hair right at home. I'm pleasantly surprised. The brush is expensive (I've never spent anything close to this amount on a hairbrush before), but it's definitely worth it for me.

I read wonderful things about this hairbrush so I bought it. I have fine hair and really would appreciate a brush that would gently work my hair. Because of the ceramic Ionic factors I really thought it would also control the fly away aspects. I found my hair to be more fly away than normal....but to be frank it is winter and dry...so I may not be giving it a fair shake. As far as drying more quickly....not really. I wish I had spent my money on a really substantial boars hair brush.
