I have natural hair and it is 4b type hair. I came across this product while surfing for soft and gentle products for my hair to reduce breakage and repair environmental damage. I wasn't sure if this line would work on hair with really tight curls. Since, I was going through a period of trial and error, I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I gave it a shot too! When my hair is wet, it tangles easily. When I use the conditioner, it softens my hair so wonderfully and I can actually run my fingers through my hair without having to use a comb! It's so smooth and creamy and you can feel your hair loving the pampering. I love this stuff and I have noticed less shed and broken hairs when I wash (in addition to my wash/deep condition regimen). This is my new favorite hair cleansing product and I would highly recommend all brands of Kanechom hair Shampoos and Conditioners to anyone working with 4b hair. If this stuff can help make the tightest curls manageable, I know it is is phenomenal on all other types of hair.

Review of Parlux PAR4182 Professional 3800 Ionic and Ceramic Hair Dryer
A power bomb that is!. This little dryer is power and heat wrapped in a small package. The dryer is well balanced with the weight in the body of the dryer. I am a nozel holder,so with the weight in the body of the dryer and not in the handle it is very comfortable to use. The dryer is will insulated for heat and noise. This is a gem if you do a lot of Brazilian Blowouts! The parlux 3800 is well worth the price. The only draw back is the cord is a little on the short side for a pro dryer.Not a deal breaker though.
High air flow, low noise, two heat levels and long lasting components.

Good hairdryer. I got tired of purchasing a new Revlon/Conair dryer every year to 18months at my local discount department store. So I bit the bullet and purcahsed a proferssional grade dryer. This is a good dryer, fast, hot, not too heavy. Cut down my drying time at least 5 minutes maybe even 10. But really, too expensive. I will update in a year or sooner if necessary about continued use. I agree with previous comment regarding buttons in a strange area, but after two uses I have learned to compensate and it is not an issue for me. You know that it isn't going to be like the full size counterparts, seeing as it is travel sized AND so much cheaper, so my expectations for it were right in sync. The flat iron takes a bit longer to heat up, and a little of getting used to if your used to a full size CHI, but it works wonderfully! Sometimes I do the rotate thing to make it curl, and I think it looks better on this one than the full sized one. The hair dryer packs a mean punch for something so small, and it dries my hair in the same amount of time as a full size, but its not as hot so I actually like it better. The sizes are great for travel or gym locker-room use, and I highly recommend them. And they also come with the travel pack and CHI products! Definitely a steal. I can fit my shampoo, conditioner and styling products and comb in the pockets for the gym (but I put my shampoo and conditioner in travel bottles to save room), so it's the perfect travel accessory. I purchased this one THROUGH amazon, not a store on amazon, and I ordered it on a Friday and received it Monday MORNING even though they said 2-3 business days. I was very impressed with both the product and Amazon.

I bought this set for a trip to Europe and was SO excited to find the CHI travel kit at such a good price. I tried it out in the comfort of my 110v home before I left. The straightener did not get very hot, but I figured it was because it was compact. The hair dryer seemed to be okay with the output you would expect for a travel dryer. I was more concerned with having a reasonable hair dryer while traveling in Europe. I really liked the dual voltage offered by the hair dryer. I was relieved to have it--until I got there. I used an adapter and set the dryer to the appropriate voltage, and when I turned it on....NOTHING...it didn't work at all. I tried using it on the lower voltage and with the voltage down converter I had. It barely worked; it couldn't blow out a candle on a birthday cake. I was astonished that the cheap Revlon curling iron I brought worked perfectly with the down converter, but neither of the two CHI travel doo dads functioned at all. Sadly, the best (and most valuable) part of this entire kit was all the small products that came with it: the travel size shampoo, conditioner, silk infusion, and spray made my hair manageable. I purchased the dryer to use when I travel overseas. Finally took on a trip a couple of weeks ago. Worked great the first time I used. The second time I used it worked about halfway through a hair drying session (2 minutes)....then it just died for no reason. I am very upset with Chi the iron does not get hot enough and it grabs your hair. The size is appropriate. Heats up quickly, and straightens faster and easier than any other flat iron I've owned.
When I came across this one I really liked it and the price was very reasonable. It is pink, and I couldn't make out the details from the picture posted. When it arrived I was very pleased. It is pink and it is covered in little shiny silver breast cancer ribbons all over it. I really like the design. I purchased it from the seller Beauty Concepts for $74.99 I believe. It is a limited edition iron and came with a nice pink Chi brand bag, it is pretty good sized. The flat iron is the genuine Farouk Chi brand, not a knock off. I have seen several that claim to be the Chi brand, but aren't as advertised. All the Chi irons I have had, had the standard on/off switch and indicator light. No dials to adjust the temperature, which wouldn't be helpful to me since my hair is so thick and curly that I would keep it on high anyway. This one is just like every other Chi I have owned (except the color and design) and works great. It is the 1" Chi, which is also all I have ever owned, so if the size description worries you, it shouldn't, it is a standard size. When this one hits the 5 year mark and dies (I say this because out of the 3 I have had, each lasted 5 years) I will definitely buy from this seller again if possible.

This worked great for the first six months, but then the "ceramic" started peeling off. The plates look like metal underneath. Now it snags on my hair & I need to get a new one. I have very very naturally curly hair, and it is thick. I have tried numerous brands of flat irons and nothing works like a Chi. The life span on them seems to be about 5 years, at the 5 year mark the cord usually gets a short in it and you have to wiggle it and hold your mouth just right to get it to stay on. When mine quit, (got that one in 2007) I had to find one and find it quick, but I wasn't willing to pay the outrageous salon prices for one. In salons where I live, they retail for around $150-$175. So I immediately got on Amazon, I get a lot of items from this site. I have had this exact one since 2007 and am STILL using it!! After Countless times of dropping... countless trips to Europe, un-raveling it by simply swinging it out by the cord when it was wrapped up.. and it is still a champion and still working. I am going to try the Solia because it might straighten better after having this for 3 years, but this still works awesome! Might as well get another iron though in case... Jilbere Hot Air Brush Review
My first Jilbere hot air brush lasted over 10 years. It had a blue housing. Then another company bought them and they're called Ceramic Tools. They're great...for the first couple of weeks. Then they start getting so hot, you can't even touch the barrel. Then the bristles melt. I've had 4 of the "new" model" and they all have the same problem. I've contacted Jilbere, but got no response. I'm still looking for another 1-1/4" hot air brush.
I am actually back here to purchase another because despite its relatively limited lifespan and somewhat frightening capacity for heat, I really liked it while it worked and I kind of miss it! I have had several different brands of this type of air brush over the years, and this model styled my hair the best and was the easiest to use. None of the ones I've had lasted for more than a year or two, anyway. In the grand scheme of things, $30 isn't too bad of a price to pay every couple of years, I guess, considering how much I pay to have my hair cut, colored, styled, etc. Additionally, it saves me time in the morning since I don't have to wrestle with a blow dryer and a round brush, so it is worth it to me!

This is a great curling brush, but as other reviewers have noted, don't expect it to last forever. I had mine for about two years, and it was great while it lasted. I never had any problems with flattened bristles or anything like that, but I did notice that after awhile, it started getting extremely hot. It was so hot that as I was using it, it would actually heat up the necklace I was wearing and burn my neck. Then one day, it just stopped working. Last month I bought both the Jilbere Hot Air Brush and the Infiniti by Conair BC173 Hot Air Styler. The Jilbere is much better at adding body to my fine, wavy, chin-to-shoulder length layered hair, and letting me curl the ends under. It leaves my hair volumized, smooth and shiny. If you're like me and have no skills holding a blow dryer in one hand and using a round brush in the other, this is a fantastic solution. I can't speak to the longevity of the product but I'd buy another one if it died after the warrenty period ends. Like other reviewers suggest, I first use a regular blow dryer (drying with my head upside-down for root lift) to get my hair 85% dry. Love this hot air brush. I have very thick hair and it helps me get it dry sooo much faster. Also helps tame frizz. The downside? This is my third one in six years. So you can count on about two years of working before it breaks. However it helps me so much its worth $20 a year!

These brushes are wonderful. They don't pull as much as many other brushes do and they last a very long time. Some brushes have their bristles pull out or the rubber tips break off and they scratch the scalp. I use them daily and the grand daughters enjoy using them as well.
The problem is that the product page claims that colors vary when in fact they only have one color: purple. Just say that's the only color you have!
If they actually had the other colors available, they would allow you to pick which color you wanted, like 99% of all the other products on amazon.
If you order this brush, you will receive a purple brush. The brush is a great brush and is well made. Just don't get misled into thinking you will get any other color.
If it weren't for the shady color gimmick, I would have given this 5 stars.

I purchased the black 21 piece set. It took two weeks to arrive. It says it's a leather case and that's why I purchased it to get a leather roll to hold my MAC brushes. It's polyurethane and not even good PU. It is like a hard plastic. The bag that holds the case is of better quality than the roll itself! The eyebrow brush/comb head came off when I took it out of the package. I hot glued that back on. The brushes appear to be of average quality. I haven't washed them yet and used them so I can't tell you about shedding. I know there are better quality of brushes for your money out there. This was not worth the 50 dollars I paid!! Now I'm still looking for a real leather brush roll!!!

I wrote this review when this set cost me only 65 bucks..... I really like this set, the Flat Iron alone is worth the buy. The curling tool works awesome, Its too small for my hair but I used it on other people and it works great. The Blow Dryer, Eh! Its supposed to be small, so I cannot hope that it would be super powerful. Its good for traveling but not my cup of tea for daily use. All in All Im happy with my purchase if only for the Flat Iron, its the best item. Also they give you this little Heat Glove to use with the Clipless Curling Iron, its pink thought that was a nice lil add on.

I like this chrome spring unit because it is Quality made. Heavy chrome to last. Heavy steel twisty spring look that is Tough as nails. For my use I ground off the bottom plate of the spring.

I kept this in the box for a while before my bathroom was ready for it to be installed. Within two months the bottom plate is rusting a lot and rust is starting on the curly part. Disappointed. This product is VERY high quality. That said, I wish that the listing had included the dimensions. My Hot Tools curling iron is quite long and way too much of it would have stuck out the top since this Holder has a solid bottom---too precarious. I had to send it back.
