Invest in one that is more expensive. This doesn't heat up to a high heat and the cap doesnt fit well.

This cap does not heat properly. Even if you put it on high, the highest it can get is lukewarm. I am planning to return it because it definitely does not work.Honest reviews on Gold N' Hot GH3400 Professional Conditioning Heat Cap
I purchased this heating cap sometime ago. I must say what a disappointment. It does not get hot at all. It starts out at a decent temperature and than it does not get any hotter. Please don't waste you money on this heating cap you will be very disappointed. It also has an empty spot in the back where it does not get hot at all.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Gold N' Hot GH3400 Professional Conditioning Heat Cap

Have had the Pants Press for about a month now. It arrived well packaged, was very easy to assemble and works very well! I used the free-standing set-up but it also came with hardware to mount the unit to the wall. For a guy who likes to look neat and pressed, but hates to iron this is the way to go. Save money on drycleaning bills as well. Over time I believe this product will pay for itself! Give it a try, you'll love it!
It took me a few tries to understand how to lay the pants completely flat (I would have pressed-in wrinkles in the beginning b/c I didn't understand what was REALLY flat inside the press, and what just looked flat), but now it takes less than 30 seconds to get a pair of pants aligned properly and in place for pressing. My advice is to avoid having the pants legs too far towards the bottom of the press, and also to make sure that the material on the inner leg is flat, which you can tell by smoothing out the seams and pulling it tight towards the creases.
Great item and I would highly recommend.
The only negative is that in 20 years, I have had two of these Corby Presses fail to work (I guess they wore out) and was forced to buy another one. It is unfortunate that the electronics that Corby uses do not have a better long term working life. The company should invest in better electronics.
This Corby Pants Press leaves wrinkles and does not deliver quality pant pressing as advertised. Please honor my request to return the merchandise and recieve my money back. This item has already more than paid for itself in my time and/or cleaning bills. In the morning, I can drop a pair of pants into the press and then set it for 15, 30, or 45 minutes. When they're done, I pull them out and they look like they've been professionally pressed. They only press the legs, so you won't get creases out of the seat of the pants, but that's hardly a concern with a pair of pants off of a suit.It took me a few tries to understand how to lay the pants completely flat (I would have pressed-in wrinkles in the beginning b/c I didn't understand what was REALLY flat inside the press, and what just looked flat), but now it takes less than 30 seconds to get a pair of pants aligned properly and in place for pressing. I've owned this unit nearly 5 years and it's performed flawlessly. It's particlarly useful in the rainy season when my pant's lower leg, below the bottom of my trench coat, get wet and lose their crease. The Corby restores them smartly. Do be careful of the pant placement and once the cuff is grabbed as you close the bottom hinged door pull gently on the waist band to pull out any wrinkles before pressing. I was having my pants cleaned to often simply to restore the press. I've cut back on that and saved my suits from a lot of uneeded dry cleaning. The Corby 7700 is a very gentle pants press. It never reaches a high temperature and therefore it does require about 30 minutes to press my wool pants. It never gets so hot that it sets a stain. I have installed mine onto my closet wall with the included mounting kit. It takes up much less "real estate" this way, and eliminates the cheap feeling plastc feet and the jacket hanger, but as it's in my closet with my jackets that doesn't matter. The unit is made in England and seems well thought out and well constructed. A larger "cubby" for keys, wallet and change wouldn't have been amiss, but perhaps I cram too much into my pockets. It's a very capable product at a reasonable price.Graham Webb Vivid Color (Duo Set) - Color Locking Shampoo 11oz Reviews

Great size for travel, does exactly what my large dryer does and my hair looks just as good! Comes with the nozzle to concentrate the air flow and dual voltage setting. I would give it 5 stars if it had a cold air setting, but I guess it's not absolutely necessary for a travel hair dryer.

Since there's no need to talk about how much money you can save by cutting your own hair (or having someone cut it for you), let's cut to the chase...
I don't even remember the last time I went to a barber shop. I've always had my hair cut by my mother and now, for the past 5-years, my girlfriend. This review will not be from a professional stand-point, so please keep that in mind. I also don't use the tools so my review is based on what I've experienced on the receiving end and comments by the two people above.
Before I get started, let me just say that in my weeks of research I've learned that the difference between high-end and low-end models of professional clippers is noise, how cool they stay and motor power/rpm (all should have swappable blades). Besides various attachments, which are practically the same with all trimmers, that's the difference you're paying for in price. Now that I've explained the professional clippers, I just want to say that all of my previous experience was with cheapo "home" versions. The "home" clipper are cheaper, come with more pieces/accessories but they also don't last as long, feel cheap, sometimes they rip out hair and don't cut as quickly.
We've had Oster professional clippers for our dog for about 8-years now that are phenomenal, but they also cost almost $200. After going through so many home versions of clippers, we've finally decided to get professional quality clippers based on experience with the aforementioned model. Our budget was approximately $50 for clippers only. We were pleasantly surprised when we got clippers and trimmer for that price, of quality we were happy with.
These Andis clippers are definitely the best buy we've made thus far. They cut very quickly, so my cut time was shaved by at least 5-minutes. Even going at faster speeds I never felt like my hairs were being pulled. The trimmer/edger on the other hand, although it did a great job of the neck-line is a bit wide for edging around the ears. Scissors still had to be used for that. However my girlfriend liked this Andis Professional combination over everything we've used previously. We kept the trimmer for the neck.
Pros:
Professional quality w/fast & powerful motor
Should hopefully last much longer than our older "home" versions
Makes short time of clipping (no hair pulling!)
Trimmer does a great job with the neck and sideburns edging
Clipper has a great "feel" in small and large hands
1/16th to 1" attachments
Cons:
Clippers are slightly loud (no biggie though)
Edger is too wide for edging around ears
No taper (side/fade) attachment for clipper or trimmer
The reason I gave a 4-star review is because of the few shortcomings that I listed in the cons (I'd give 4.5 if available). However, having said that, you'd be very hard pressed to find a better clipper/trimmer combination. If you don't think tapers are very important (or willing to get them separately) and if you're willing to edge around the ears by hand, then this is the best combination that I've been able to find for the price. This is definitely a quality product. I highly recommend it.

as a former US Marine and someone who has always liked to keep his hair short (not bald!), I have gone through dozens of clippers and trimmers in my day. so far, they've all been pretty much the same mediocre. this set however, is perfect for my needs. the clippers work smoother and better than any other i've used, and the trimmer cuts nice and close for a great beard/sideburns outline, or to shape the base of the hair on the back of the neck. the set as priced is a phenomenal deal. i think i paid $60+ elsewhere, and I'd do it again.Best Deals on Andis Professional 23965 Pivot Motor Hairclipper Combo
This is a great high-quality set. I owned cheaper hairclippers and comparatively speaking to this product, they were cheap and wonky. The larger buzzer feels very smooth and way quieter than the others I've used. I usually buzz my own hair, but the main reason I bought this set was because I now give my young sons haircuts and they are super-sensitive to the blade when I would do the trimming around the ears and back. With this set, they now love getting haircuts from Dad. One last thing that should be noted, that the description doesn't mention is that the package comes with attachments for both buzzers. The case is very handy, too. Overall, a great package that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality package at a great price.Honest reviews on Andis Professional 23965 Pivot Motor Hairclipper Combo
Okay, it does make the cut, but the unit I received also pulls at the hair. I've cut my husband and sons' hair for years and this is the first time the experience has been unpleasant for them. I found the final result to be uneven, though I was able to remedy that with scissors. Still, what's the point if you can't get a clean line? Also, I would like a guard with a taper for around the ears. With two rounds of cuts on 3 guys, we didn't lose money on this, but I'm back to searching for a better clipper.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Andis Professional 23965 Pivot Motor Hairclipper Combo
i bought this clipper set i thought i wasgoing to enjoy but big misatake. the clipper by itself is ok, it's not the greatest and forget what they say about it does get hot while you use it. but the outliner is a lame excuse for a product it can't cut at first i thought the one i had was defective but they replace it for me same result it's just not good please stay away from that set you will be disapointed like meAndis 60070 Comfort Dry Ionic/Ceramic Pet Dryer Review

I am so glad that I purchased this. I have 3 dogs (pug & 2 Chihuahua's) and 1 Persian kitten. The dogs get a bath about once a month, but my Persian kitten needs grooming on a consistent basis. He gets brushed every night, but he needs baths weekly (this is a breed that is known to be high maintenance). My dogs never minded (too much, haha) with my using a regular blow dryer-but when I pulled out my blow dryer and tried to use it on Sterling he just about shot through the roof with fright due to the high intensity noise. I needed something that would work, without the excessive heat, but with a comfortable noise level.
Originally, I was looking into more expensive dryers, but I came across this one and decided to give it a shot before spending more than $80 on my first go. I am very glad I did!
The stand: The stand, for me, is the best component of this dryer. Others have posted a review that it can tip and this is correct as it can be top heavy with the blow dryer inserted into it (reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5). To counteract this flaw I make sure I have it on the heat setting that I wish prior to putting it in. Then I position the stand (airflow more up or down) when I get it in. Then when I am ready to use it I just turn it on and basically don't mess with the settings (i.e. heat setting or positioning of the dryer in the stand). My dogs are content to sit still during a blow drying session, but my cat is not so forgiving. I turn the dryer on and hold my kitten, brushing as it dries and then move him around in my hands to get all areas dry. Works wonders! He is close to my body and feels more at ease and I can get the job done in a fraction of the time.
The noise level: There are two levels-high and low. The high setting is too much for my cat, but my dogs have no problem with it. I would say that the high setting is close in noise level to my hair dryer. The low setting though has been perfect for my kitten. No blow dryer is going to be void of some noise, but this certainly is more easing to the ears and not as "high pitched". On the low level, Sterling (my kitten), will actually lean his head back with ease while I comb his neck area. This would have been near impossible with my human hair dryer.
Heat level: I am super pleased with the heat levels on this dryer. There are 3: Cool, Warm and Hot. Owners need to take care when blow drying their pets because irritation and damage can be a result. The "heat" component of a blow dryer really is not what makes the hair dry-it's the air power that is needed. Also excessive heat can make a pets hair dry and brittle (yes, just like human hair). My dogs had absolutely no problem with this on high heat. It is not quite as hot as my human blow dryer, but it does reach an intensity that you would not want to hold it directly close to the skin for a moderate amount of time, otherwise, it would be uncomfortable and could potentially have some damage.
On my kitten I have been using the "warm" setting and that has been perfect for him. It's not so cold that I wonder if he is going to get chilled, but it's not too hot that I worry about damage or irritation. I would describe this setting to the feeling of "tepid water" level. I really have not used the cool setting. I tried it and it basically is like just air blowing without any heat component.
Drying time: When drying my dogs and kitten this has exceptionally surpassed my human hair dryer by cutting the time it took to dry their coat by at least 60%. It takes between 5-7 minutes to blow dry my kitten and his coat is completely dry, yet still soft and without any damage.
As of the time of writing this review I have used this dryer about 8 times. I am very pleased with this product and happy I decided to give this a try before investing more money into another pet dryer. I would recommend this product to you if you feel you will not need to mess with the heat and/or position of the hair dryer constantly while drying the animal. Also, it takes two hands, not one, to move the position of the hair dryer. If you are have another person with you, you could easily ask them to switch the heat setting to X and move the air flow more up/down-but that is essentially a hassle.
Pros: The price is a fraction of what other's charge; the stand comes in handy-you can brush and blow dry at the same time; different heat settings for comfort of the animal; noise level on low is really tolerable; dries the animals coat very quickly without damage.
Cons: You are not able to maneuver the stand without two hands and it is top heavy with the dryer inserted; high setting is close to the noise level of a human hair dryer.
I like the stand and found it to be sturdy enough, but I don't use it because it's hard to hold the dog in the focused air stream. I find it easier to put the dog on my lap and hold the dryer.
It's about the same volume as my 1875 watt Ionic hair dryer for people, but moves a LOT more air and dries MUCH faster. They seem the same on paper, but this Andis is made to move a lot of water from a lot of fur, and it does. It's also much lighter weight than my "people" hair dryer.
dryer just falls over. The stand is very lightweight plastic and the dryer's weight just pulls it down. Also have found that the "Cool" setting is pretty warm. Sorry I bought it. Has a nice strong "High" speed setting.

I use this dryer for my Shi-tzu mix, he has a lot of hair. I used to go to the pet store self wash. After using this a while I'm very disappointed. I have 7 small dogs and groom them myself. I bought this dryer because of its stand. Have found the stand to be pretty useless. It manages to stand if it is upright and is not jarred. There are settings to tilt it, which I have to do for my dogs and thedryer just falls over. The stand is very lightweight plastic and the dryer's weight just pulls it down. Also have found that the "Cool" setting is pretty warm. Sorry I bought it. Has a nice strong "High" speed setting.
