I was happy to find this hard hat dryer after using my mother's for so long. I am at college so I needed one for my own and the fact that it's collapsible is so convenient. It dries my hair quickly and it can adjust heights. Great purchase.

Andis 33495 Wall Mounted Hang Up 1600 Watt Hair Dryer with Night Reviews
I purchased the dryer based on its description on Amazon and it was not complete. There was no mention that the dryer had to be mounted over an electrical box and hard-wired into the box. I assumed it could be mounted and plugged in to an outlet. I managed to jeri-rig the installation and now it works just fine, very well actually. I do like the product.
But the dryers themselves work great!

I installed this unit during a bathroom remodel completed last June. By this April, it had stopped working. I'll probably order it again, because it fits perfectly in the allotted space and it does a great job on my hair, as well as keeping bathroom clutter to a minimum by being directly wired into the wall. I ordered two of these dryers. I had used them before and I trust their quality. But, when the product arrived, I found that there was no plug on the end of the cord. These units are made to be hard-wired into the electrical system. I didn't see that clearly spelled out in the descriptive text when I was looking for the product. As such, instead of going thru the hassle of returning both of the dryers I went to Ace Hardware and purchased some plugs to put on the cords. Now I'm just hoping and praying the connections don't heat up and set the house on fire.But the dryers themselves work great!

Unlike other reviewers, I got 4 years use from this dryer, then the low speed switch quit working. I have no complaints about the longevity of the unit. I also don't have any complaints about how well it dries. It does a great job. It has a small footprint on the wall and is light and easy to use. So why just 3 stars? On high speed it is noisy enough that it makes my ears ring. I measured it with my sound level meter at 1 foot from the unit at 117 decibels. It should be labeled as requiring hearing protection while using, but then, if you used those ear muff style hearing protectors, you might get a pretty crazy new look.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Because I am male and keep my hair fairly short, I am far, far from the ideal audience for this hair dryer. My hair dries on its own in about five minutes. The hair dryer cuts that down to one or two. I really don't think that qualifies me to judge.
However, I have a wife and daughter, each with long, thick hair. Ideal test subjects! But in the end, there really isn't all that much to say. The hair dryer blows hot air and dries the hair. It is a very serviceable hair dryer, of average weight and with decent blowing power. All the standard controls. Honestly, nothing special, but no complaints either. In many ways, hair dryers are commodities, like combs or paper towels.
So Remington is trying to distinguish this dryer by adding a "keratin ring" at the end of the dryer...thus, as you are drying your hair, you are also allegedly blowing keratin into your hair, making it healthier, fuller, etc. etc. Neither of the lovely ladies in my life indicated noticing ANY difference in their hair. Perhaps it is extremely subtle...but both of these women are pretty in-tune with their hair, and I believe they would have noticed even a small change. So we're going to say that the Keratin is a gimmick that does nothing.
It's still a good hair dryer, so it's not like I'm not recommending it. Just don't get your hopes up for some kind of miracle from the keratin ring. Perhaps if ones hair is in terrible shape to start with?

This is my 3rd Remington dryer. My favorite thing about it is it's very light weight, compared to my old dryer. In the description it indicates a diffuser but it does not come with one. There was a coupon in the box with a code to get one free from their website but the coupon code did not work. I had to email customer service and sent one really quickly.It did dry my hair quickly but I did not notice any less frizz.
It was less noisy than my old dryer.
All in all a good dryer.

It has more features than either the dryers sold in retail stores or those expensive models.In comparing it to my current dryer, a Conair Ion Therapy 1875 watt model, the Remington's measurements are larger overall and it weighs 2 oz. more than my Conair. However, the Remington K8410 Keratin Therapy Dryer is so well balanced that it seems smaller and lighter than it actually is. The ergonomics of the grip are excellent; even though I have small and arthritic hands, I have no trouble holding the dryer.
Unlike many dryers on the market today, the Remington D8410 Keratin Therapy Dryer, in addition to the cool shot, actually has three drying temperatures and two speeds. This provides a wide variety of styling options and should allow the user to more finely tailor the drying option to their particular styling needs.
The "hot" temperature dries one's hair quickly without producing a burning odor. Using a round brush with the "medium" or "low" heat and on the slower airspeed allows you to create a smooth, sleek look without resorting to a flat iron and helps minimize heat-related damage.
There are several features of the Remington D8410 Keratin Therapy Dryer that I particularly like. Rather than fitting over the end of the dryer's barrel, the concentrator nozzle snaps into place. This makes it quite secure and prevents it from coming off at inopportune moments. The concentrator is vented which helps dry, but not over-dry, hair above and below the target area. The dryer is more quiet than most, but it is not silent. The high pitched noise several reviewers have mentioned occurs when the concentrator is held too close to your head and the vents are "blocked."
I have not noticed that the Keratin Therapy ring makes any difference in the sheen or condition of my hair.
This dryer has a four year warranty which is significantly longer than most hair dryers being marketed; if you are someone who regularly replaces your dryer, this is a real plus.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The hair dryer is supposed to be keratin infusion. I have no idea why that is important as one hair dryer seems like any other to me but thought I would mention it for the more savvy buyers. It's nice and lightweight. The only drawback is the cord seems a little short to me. If you have a plug in over the sink, you should be okay but if it's down on the wall beside the sink then you have to juggle a bit to use it. Since you aren't supposed to put these on an extension cord, you'd think they could make the cords longer. This is probably the same length as all of them are though so that isn't a drawback. It has 3 settings and 2 speeds and has a switch on the end of cord where you plug it in as well. It looks fancy too. It comes with the concentrator only and has a coupon for a free diffuser. That is my one big complaint. They should have put the diffuser in with it because it's obvious when you go register the product what they are up too. I mean do they need to know personal things like your income just because you bought one of their hair dryers? I decided not to register because I didn't feel like that was any of their business and that I would be getting spam mail from everyone on earth since they also wanted my email address. So no diffuser for me, I guess. I'm pleased with their product but not with their nosiness.

Well it started off well. Really liked the product and then 3 months into using it the high heat just doesn't work! The lower settings work but the high heat and high blow speed just doesn't work. Useless at this point. So off to spend $$ on something else.

I bought this to combat dew on my telescope. I had been using a real hair dryer in my backyard where I have 120v power. When I head out to my dark site, I have no AC power, so this little guy was going to fill in. I have to say I am fairly dissapointed. I didnt expect 120V level of heat, but this thing barely warms up at all. It moves plenty of air, but it isn't really hot enough for removing dew, much less drying hair.

I'm a hairstylist and I love this thing. It works on dry hair and gives great volume and finishes the ends nicely. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because they tend to overheat and die. I've gone through 4 in 3 years. Keep in mind I do use it several times a day. I have gotten many a client atticted to it.

The quality of both the regular mirror and the magnifying side are both excellent. The problem is that the 'collar'
where you can adjust the height, does not hold properly and so the mirror is unstable and wobbly. I thought I had received a defective one and sent it back, but the next one was just the same. I love the T 3 featherweight hair dryer. I have very curly hair and I straighten it with a round brush. The featherweight dryer saves me lots of time. It is very light, performs beautifully and it is also very quiet It makes my hair smooth and shiny.
I absolutely recommend making sure the seller is legit. If you choose to buy one for cheaper you may run the risk of getting one without the UPC, ruinning your 2 year limited warrenty. I have not had any problems with my hairdryer but some people warn of 6 month failures, so always send the warrenty card asap.
