Nice and light, heats up fast! I like that the cool tip stays cool even on the highest setting. I like that my arms dont hurt by the end of the styling session... the lightness made me think it might've been flimsy and cheap but its not!!! It does not include the heat proof glove tho... but i dont use the one i have anyway so its not a prob for me!!! I'm glad i bought it!

I actually have curly hair that I can wash and leave to dry. However, I can't blow-dry it or it frizzes and it takes several hours to dry = a massive pain. So, while I don't use this everyday, it is an amazing way for me to add curls. It heats up in around 2 minutes (at the highest temperature) and takes me 5 minutes to do my entire head of hair. It is also reallllly small and light, so sometimes I take it in my bag to work (especially since it cools down in about 10 minutes), if I have a function after, and I can spruce my hair up in 3 minutes. After a quick touch up, the curl lasts all night. You can use the far end to get a tight curl, or the far top for a big/loose curl, or space it out down the barrel for a natural look. You can leave them tight, they will actually hold!!, or you can run your fingers through some and get the perfect curl/beachy wave look. I also use this to make a really cute ponytail when I have no desire to have hair in my face all day. I absolutely love this product, in case you can't tell, and all for under $50!!!

its a good product and heats well. my hair is very straight and slips off. i don't like how my ends look once styled but that's just because my hair is extremely straight. i would recommend for a person who has more body or textured hair.

I own a travel hairdryer whose power is much stronger than this Revlon model. It too has a cooling element, though not the attachments. But with short hair, I really don't need them. It's fine as a backup hair dryer if my travel one ever breaks down, but I really prefer some power in my hair dryer to really concentrate the air flow. Otherwise, it's pretty much like most average hair dryers out there.

Where the Revlon dryer really shines is that it makes my hair really shiny and manageable. A lot more than the Mangroomer. I also like that this isn't too heavy for me to lift while I'm drying my hair. As someone with disc problems in her neck, this is a big plus for me. Also, it has the Cold Shot setting, which sets my hair style, after it's dry. This makes my hair look much fuller than it usually does, it even without hair spray, it stays looking full throughout the day.

On the plus side the dryer is very light and compact. That initially concerned me since I wondered if the lack of weight to the dryer would mean that it didn't dry well. The results are well styled and shiny, which is once of the promises the dryer's name implies. I don't use any fancy shampoos or styling products, so I can really see the results of the dryer on my hair. My only "wish list" would be a retractable cord. I travel frequently and would like to carry the dryer with me, but may not due to the cord. A great, affordably priced dryer for daily use.

It blows really hard, so if you want to minimize that, you have to use the diffuser attachment. The diffuser attachment works awesome! It just applies heat to my hair, without the gale force wind. I have been looking for a hairdryer with a nice diffuser attachment, and haven't found one until this hairdryer. The heat settings are low and high, and you also have low or high air. Even on low air, this dryer blows really hard.

It is lightweight, fairly small and is consistent. You can twist off the back to clean the filter. My old hairdryer is a Revlon, and I have had it for about 8 years. I love it, because it doesn't blow as hard as this one, but my old dryer doesn't have a diffuser attachment like this. 8 years for an inexpensive hairdryer is quality in my eyes. Hopefully this hairdryer will stand the test of time as well.

Just got this hair dryer. I bought it for $69 on groupon. I wouldn't have purchased it but my CHI hair dryer stopped working a few days before (two months out the one year warranty?!). So I read some reviews and decided to give this one a try. It is awesome! Way better than my CHI one-that was like $120. It dries my super thick hair in about four minutes! The long cord is nice too. The only bad part is that the box showed a price tag of $300 which I would have never paid. And also it came with two concentrators but no diffuser-and the ones I already had don't fit-the tip is smaller. If it pops up as a groupon for $69 again, buy it!

The product worked well for two months. Then the hot air mechanism broke, afterward the dryer only blew cool air. I experienced great difficulty trying to warranty the product on the website-and there is no customer service contact number, only an electronic form. Finally, someone contacted me with the warranty form and the following statement:

However, in the rare event of defects NuMe offers a limited manufacturer's warranty with valid purchase, registration and a money order of $29.99 for the shipping and handling fees. So, basically for $50 I can exchange my original product and cross my fingers that the hot air mechanism on my new dryer lasts longer than two months.

I have searched for an affordable sulphate-free shampoo for a long time and bought several that I disliked immensely. I stumbled upon this at Target and thought I'd give it a try. Sulphate-free or not, this is the BEST shampoo I have ever used, and my BFF agrees. I have spent a fortune searching for a good shampoo at a realistic price and I hope that L'Oreal never discontinues this. For years I have been highlighting my hair and have been looking for the perfect shampoo/conditioner combo. I have never been able to prevent the frizzy crunchiness of my hair without either blow-drying & flat ironing (which is damaging) or not washing it for a few days (which can get gross because I have very oily hair). There is only so much "Psssssst Instant Spray Shampoo 5.3 oz." you can use without looking like a powder puff. Trust me I've wasted a LOT of money trying to find the perfect mix of a non-oily yet hydrating shampoo/conditioner combo.

I received a sample of this shampoo in the mail and decided to try it and I could tell a difference within ONE wash. The shampoo was ridiculously moisturizing. I could run a fine toothed comb through my damaged hair in the shower with nothing but the shampoo in it. I've NEVER (seriously NEVER) been able to do that. Of course I ordered the shampoo and conditioner and have been using it ever since (roughly three weeks). My hair is smooth, soft, and I can now dry my hair naturally without looking like Einstein. =)

My only suggestion is not to use a lot of shampoo with each wash. It's so concentrated you can almost over-lather if you use too much. Also, I only condition (with the hydrate conditioner) about twice a week. THAT is how moisturizing it is.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHAMPOO!!! =)

I am 14 years old, and I was trying to find the right kind of shampoo for my hair. I have tried literally every shampoo brand on the market, Tressemme, Matrix, Pantene, Garnier, Aussie, Aveda, L'Oreal, and, I even went all out and blew right through my $90.00 of birthday money on stupid, useless Wen...ha! what a waste that was! My hair was very healthy when I switched to using only the Suave Naturals shampoo/conditioner line, and the Suave Professionals Rosemary Mint Shampoo as well. It was soft, super sleek, and had the highest level of shine that I had ever seen. My hair is also COMPLETELY natural. I never use hair color, blow dry it, heat style it, chemically treat and/or straighten it etc. When I saw this shampoo advertised in my Seventeen magazine, I decided to give it a shot, and at least attempt to try it. After all, it was sulfate AND paraben free, so I thought, "why not?". The packaging of this shampoo is very nice, a metallic green with a purple-and-clear cap. I also liked how it was only $4.00, so it wasn't a huge investment.

So, I have been using this product for a total 2 months, and, I have to say it's just okay. I like the squeeze-bottle, because I don't have to fuss around with unnecessary caps. You only have to squeeze the bottle a little bit to get a substantial amount of shampoo out. The smell, in my opinion, is rather nice; a fresh, clean scent that reminds me of mint, with a hint of herb, but, overall the smell isn't too bad and/or overpowering. This shampoo also lathers EXTREMELY WELL for a sulfate-free shampoo, and, the lather that it produces feels rich, smooth, and creamy (almost as if your'e washing your hair with a conditioner). When I rinse it out, my hair feels super sleek and smooth, but not "squeaky" clean, which means that the natural oils in my hair are not being stripped.

That's the positives about this shampoo. Now, let's get to the negatives.

When my naturally pin-straight, yet VERY thick hair dries after using this shampoo, it feels....I don't know....thinner and flatter somehow?, almost as if it's lacking volume. It adds a little shine to my dark brown hair, but, not nearly as much shine as my Suave Naturals gives it. My natural red-orange highlights fail to show while using this as well. Also, when I use this shampoo, it looks fine at first, but, during the day, it suddenly gets flat as a board, and very limp.

I found out that this shampoo contains Dimethicone as one of the top ingredients. Dimethicone is a silicone. Silicones weigh the hair down and cause buildup. But, I eliminate the buildup by using my Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo once a week.

In conclusion, this shampoo is pretty much a "meh" product, in my opinion. I like it, yet I don't like it either. I would only recommend this shampoo for VERY DRY and VERY DAMAGED hair. However, if you have normal, perfectly healthy hair like myself, I wouldn't recommend it. If you do have normal, healthy hair, and decide to buy this, I would use a Clarifying shampoo once a week due to the silicones in this shampoo.

I, myself would buy it again, but, only because it's sulfate and paraben free, and at a VERY LOW price range.

I had used Wen, a very expensive sulfate free shampoo/conditioner, for years and decided to try the loreal when I saw it in the drugstore for a fraction of the price. It works as well or better and has a much better lather and hand feel than the Wen, thoughlh it doesn't have the sulfates that damage your hair. I use both the Reconstruct shampoo and conditioners and my hair is very healthy and shiny. I receive compliments on my hair all the time and always recommend this product highly. I tried the wen and the hair one stuff---expensive!!!!!!! It was okay, but I don't know-it's just not worth the price. Saw a coupon in the paper and decided to try the higher end loreal shampoo. Must say, I'm pleased....I used way less-----it seemed little thick so i watered it down a little and -I was afraid it may way my hair down=like with this one hair one product that really made my hair lifeless. this loreal made my hair really nice and soft---and I didn't need tons of product which is what the wen stuff sells you on. Overall, very happy with it and fairly knot free. I'd have to say this is Loreals answer to what the wen tries to do. I'm happy....i'm gonna go with this one. Much more reasonable in price and amount of product you need to use to get results. Give it a try if you feel you have damaged hair. My main reason was that it's winter. My hair hates winter.

Facts:

The barrel is not made of ceramic and tourmaline.

The barrel is a metal barrel covered with a ceramic/tourmaline coating.

(I was cleaning the barrel when I noticed there was a small mark where the coating happened to chip off of the barrel.)

The ceramic/tourmaline coating did not perform as advertised even in conjunction with anti-frizz and anti-humidity products.

The spring for the iron is extremely loose.

The On/Off button is poorly placed.

The heat setting button is poorly placed.

The iron does heat up very well; however, the tip of the iron is not insulated from the heat, which makes it almost unusable if you are accessing one of the higher heat settings.

The curling iron stand is not insulated, which may present a possibility for a burn if you are not aware.

The curling iron did curl my hair beautifully, but the curl did not last once I stepped outside. It did not matter if the weather condition outside was dry or humid, the curl simply did not last. I have used this curling with Kenra Thermal Spray and Matrix sleek.look Iron Smoother on separate occasions; both are good, salon quality products. I received the same results when using the Curlmaster curling iron I purchased from a local Sally's Beauty store.

It is possible another user may encounter better results since hair types are so varied; however, I would not recommend this curling iron in general because it is falsely advertised as a tourmaline infused ceramic barrel, when it is not, the coating appears to be composed of tourmaline and ceramic and should be clearly advertised as such, and because it does not produce the results, again as advertised.

Perfect hairdryer at the perfect price! I had been searching for a 2000 watt hairdryer for a while but didn't want to spend too much money. After reading other reviews of this product on Amazon I decided to give it a try. Wow, what a difference! My hair dries quicker and is much more smooth and shiny with less flyaways. My medium length layered hair is somewhat thick with a natural but unruly wave. I blow dry it in sections with a large round brush to smooth and straighten it. Definitely a noticeable difference from my previous 1875 watt dryer. I no longer dread blow drying my hair.

It is by far the best blow dryer I have ever used & I honestly didn't think a blow dryer was all that importmant & would make a difference. But it apparently it does! This straightener is perfect for any hair legnth and type. My hair is naturally wavy and it leaves my hair wonderfully straight. It takes literally 20 seconds to heat up so it is great for if you just want to straighten your hair a little in the mornings.

My hair is long layered and wavy and it makes my hair really straight but it works on my mums hair which is short and really curly too.

The design is really funky and the iron is really small so it can be taken anywhere. It has a nice long chord and the heat is spread evenly across the plates. The only thing is you have to hold the plates shut so you sometimes burn yourself, and don't use it on wet hair.

I also love the digital temperature display and the ability to find just the right temperature. No more low, medium, high, ect...you can set the exact temp. It glides through my hair very smoothly and works very well to straighten and smooth any frizzies. It really is a very good straighter at a reasonable price.

However........the design is ridiculous. Did they not have anyone test this product? The controls are right on the front of the top handle. At first I was constantly turning the straighter off and on, then when I adjusted for that I was turning the temperature up and down and didn't even know it. I kept trying and adjusting how to hold it and burned my hand a couple times trying to figure out a way to use it without hitting the controls. I sort of manage now by putting my thumb over the temperature display window, but it is akward and a completely unnecessary hurdle in using a fairly simple thing.

I mostly ignore it or use one of a supply of cute headbands to suppress it but sometimes even that doesn't work and I, who am the most impatient of hairstylers, have to pull out the flat iron. This one was so stylishly flashy with the way the temperature and buttons are designed! It heats up exceptionally fast, even to my impatient way of thinking, and cools down just as fast for storage quick in the mornings. And in about a minute of styling time my hair is tamed in to straight sanity. And the best part is it stays that way!

Update: I did take one star away because the more I use this straightener the more I find that the buttons are positioned so that I keep accidentally pushing the off button while I'm doing my hair and then I of course lose heat because the device is off. It might just be me, but I thought I should include it in my review as an f.y.i.

They have the switch to make it hotter or cooler right on the front of the handle where you hold it, so every time you put it up to your head to use, you change the temperature setting and you don't know it. Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I've been straightening my hair every day for more years than I can remember. Straighteners are amazing. I love them. They work wonders on my hair. I have very thick hair. After I blow dry my hair "straight", it's full, wavy and frizzy. When I don't blow it dry, it looks something like Roseanne-Roseanna-Danna of Saturday Night Live fame. That is to say, my hair is curly, frizzy and BIG. In my opinion, a good straightening iron should be able to straighten and smooth my hair from either it's blown dry or air dried state. This straightener was able to do that...but with difficulty.

The difficulty was not in the straightening itself. The parts of my hair I was able to straightened turned out great. The problem with this straightener is 100% in the design. The design is terrible! The on/off button and the up/down heat buttons are right where you need to place your hand to hold the straightener. I lost count of the number of times I either turned the heat down accidentally or even turned the whole thing off altogether! I could feel my fingers, hand, thumb (whichever) pushing down on the buttons but there was nothing I could do to stop it. I readjusted my hands in every possible position to find a way to hold the thing without some part of my hand eventually hitting those buttons. I was starting to get cramps in my hand just trying to manipulate the thing. I managed to straighten my hair with my thumb grabbing between the two sets of buttons but it was a very awkward way to hold it, making it very difficult to work on my hair safely and efficiently. And even then I kept bumping into the buttons and accidentally turning down the heat or turning off the unit. When I tried to use the straightener on my daughter I had to give up. The angle which I needed to hold it to straighten someone else's hair was not compatible with how my hand had to grib the straightener so as to not hit the buttons. It was a disaster.

The straightener I currently use has a slide on/off switch and a dial to adjust the heat and it's way at the bottom of the iron. The buttons on this unit are spread out across the bottom of the unit in such a way as to make it impossible to grip.

Otherwise, the unit is light and works well. If they redesign it and change the type of buttons so you can't accidentally hit them, it would be a good straightener. Unfortunately, it's too frustrating and uncomfortable to use the way it is now.

My hair is relatively short and I wear it in sort of a sleek bob, so the 1 inch plates are perfect for me. There was absolutely no frizziness as there has been with some other irons.

But, good-grief-Carrie Nation! Wonder if the designer has ever used this. Just try to manipulate the iron without moving the controls. Extremely frustrating! The controls are simply in the wrong place.

Hence, a 50-50 for this iron, sorry to say.

I love this dryer except for the noise level. I really love the styling nozzle and get a lot of volume with it. My hairdresser uses this so I wanted it as well!!

Excellent, fast, has many settings, & will make drying my hair less of a daily chore. The fact that it's better for my hair is important, however I don't think it will help delay the onset of gray! It's a bit heavy, but that's why I work out! All in all a great product.

I am a hair dresser and was recommended this blow dryer from a co-worker. If I could rate this at 0 stars I would. I have given the corporate office a chance to make up for what happened, but they were unwilling to fix their mistake.

I bought this blow dryer about a year ago and it was working great for about 6 months. During those 6 months, there were moments in time when I smelt something burning, but just figured that I was just imagining things. During the 7th month, I realized that I wasn't imagining things when the blow dryer blew up in my hand internally. It completely shut down and smoke came from the handle. This was when I was with the client!!! I figured that this could be a defective blow dryer so I sent it in to which Taiff sent me a new blow dryer. I was grateful other than it taking about 2 weeks to get a new one. About 5 uses into the new blow dryer that I had received, the speed button melted once again inside the handle and I was unable to turn the blow dryer off so I had to unplug it. I was furious and figured that Taiff would be more than willing to send me an upgrade to their top of the line blow dryer for the inconvenience that I had to go through. They unfortunately did not feel the same way, they fixed a broken blow dryer and also sent me the speed button to show me where it melted.
