Have been looking for a Japanese style hairdryer I had been gifted in the past after I lost it. Found this on amazon and was ecstatic. Item came soooo fast--fast ship, with seamless transaction from buyer. The dryer did not disappoint. Easy to use, dried my hair well and even gave a bit of a style. So worth the money.

Cheap KMS FreeShape Quick Blow Dry Hair Sprays
I'm one of those people that has to blow dry my hair in stages because my arms get tired!! This product has significantly made my mornings faster. I'm down to 2 dries with less time now. I was also afraid that it would damage my hair but it doesn't seem to have any adverse affects and I live in the cold weather in the winter
I have a chemically treated hair, dyed my hair million times, bleached it, my hair is just dry, and i'm asian so i have asian hair. I would say my hair normal, maybe a little bit on the thinner side. And this product works perfectly fine on my hair. It definitely cut my blow drying time, it usually takes about 5-10 mns to dry my hair, with hot heat, i forgot to mention i have long hair, (length is around my boobs), now it only takes me 5 mins or less and i'm very happy with the results. The product smells good, and it's definitely easy to use. My complaint would be i wish it came in a bigger size and it doesn't really condition that much. i still have to use a leave on conditioner (serum) after drying my hair for treatment, which i think is a hassle.
I think it does the job, this product is worth to try, it will be either you love it or you hate it. I recommend this product, gotta try it before judging if it really works or not.

People were SO complimentary that I went out and bought another bottle immediately! When I next went to my stylist, I mentioned the product to her. She said "I just learned about it too! Well, I hate to wreck the perfect review record here, but this product did not work for me! I have longish, thick, wavy hair, so a blow out is a chore. I saw this product endorsed in a magazine and ordered it specifically to cut blow dry time -because that's what we all want, right? I never write reviews, but I HAD to. I have incredibly thick hair and I hate blowing it dry. It takes 20 minutes at least just to get it dry, even longer if I want it to be styled. I use a blow dryer on a daily basis since i have tight curls. I'm so happy i made this purchase since it drys my hair quickly and it saves me time in the morning. It also gives me lots of volume without making my hair frizzy! Best of all look at how cute the design is.

I got this product because it was advertised to be heavy duty & I have long hair. It's a ceramic hair dryer & seemed to have a good customer rating. It gets warm at best on ther high setting & takes me almost 45 minutes to blow my hair DAMP. It just doesn't have the air blowing power for the wattage it advertises. Giving it a 3 is generous. The item was also scratched up cosmetically plus it's heavy & awkward to hold. Might be good for real short hair, but generally not the best pea in the pod. I don't recommend it. The seller did package it for shipping well though.

It arrived in new condition. Everything was OK at first inspection. I came back to my country and gave it to my wife as a gift. She plugged it in, selected high speed drying ... and nothing. She unplugged it, and by chance one of the plug rods (sorry not that good english, but you may get the idea) touched her, and she received an electrical shock and her skin got burned.

I love this iron. I no longer need to buy tons of hairspray, gel, or other products to keep the curl in my hair. Plus my hair is healthier than ever before and so shiny. Only thing was the zebra print tends to get discolored by the heat of the iron =) Now after 2+yrs I have a brownish yellow, white, and black zebra iron. I am saving so much on hair products who cares what color the sides of the iron are =) Curls do relax and fall out in high humidity but that happens with all irons and no styling product can change the weather. I can now curl my hair everyday and it is better than before and no dry dull over styled hair. Perfect gift for yourself or friends. I would defiantly buy one again.

I hate the loud noise of a hair dryer, so I searched the internet for hair dryers that were QUIET. This is one of the few models that was specifically advertised as having a QUIET AC MOTOR, so I bought it. I am really disappointed, because it is actually the NOISIEST hair dryer I have owned, far noisier than the cheaper CONAIR dryer I was replacing. So, if you are looking for a QUIET dryer, don't be misled by the manufacturer's description into thinking this is it!
Pros:
It has separate heat and blowing controls, which makes it possible to blow high powered warm air (which my dog prefers) and low powered hot air (which I like for my hair.)
The light is awesome when I dry my dog's furnishings (legs and underbelly). I can actually see what I am doing!
Has a "cool shot" button to set the style.
Its high power gets drying jobs done fast.
Cons:
It is a bit loud. But, my dog, who is a total chicken when it comes to sound, loves getting dry and toasty warm. When he's wet he will actually seek out the bathroom drawer holding the dryer. I just had to take it slow and present plenty of treats when getting him used to it.
A friend borrowed it and said that even on the low setting she thought it blew too hard for her to style her hair.

My very big dog and I both love this dryer. I bought my first one from an pet grooming catalog, so I think it was designed for dog grooming. But, I like it so much that it ended up in my drawer in the bathroom. It is by far the most powerful drier I have ever used. I have used it hard for over two years and it's time for another. The hair dryer has good air flow and will dry your hair quickly. It is very noisy though. I don't like the on/off switch. It is off in the middle with it flipping one direction to go to low and the other to turn on high. Then when you go to turn it off, most of the time it flips past where the middle is and you end up turning it back on to the other speed.

I really like this dryer. It does not get very hot, so if you're looking for a hot dryer, this is not it. I don't believe that this dryer is very heavy either, it's not light but not heavy. The only thing that bothers me about this dryer is where the switches are, I seem to switch it off when drying my hair by accident. Other than that minor mishap I can't complain about anything else. My hair is healthy and shiny after using this dryer.

This is a terrific value, and a great blow-dryer, but it does not get as hot as one might be used to, even set on "hot" and "high". I have VERY short hair, and find it seems to take somewhat longer than it did with an older Vidal Sassoon 1875-watt blowdryer. But this may mean it's gentler on my hair, so I'm not really complaining. So far, my hair seems shiny and happy with the dryer!What might be important to you is that this is a HEAVY dryer, unusually so, and may be harder to handle if longer or heavier, thicker hair.
The lights are FUN and, I must add, IT HAS BRIGHT PURPLE on it, which is my favorite color and a selling point for me! 8-)

I bought my first hairmade hair dryer almost 8 years ago and I've never had to buy another one yet. The heating element is still just as hot as the day I bought it. The power this blows is ridiculous, I have thick hair and when it was ling it took almost an ur to dry it, but with the hairmade it only took about 25 minutes. I was glad to see that they were still selling them eight yrs later. I will be looking for a new one soon. Mine just looks beat up. :0) thank you for making quality products Hairmade!!

Review of Vidal Sassoon VS547 Ion Select Full Size Dryer
I bought this dryer to replace a virtually identical but much older Vidal Sassoon hair dryer (the VS781),which had finally stopped working after probably a decade. The thing I liked most about the older dryer, and which I like about this one (which is basically the same dryer with a new color and model number), is that it doesn't get excessively hot even on the highest setting, and doesn't blow as hard as most other dryers.
For someone with thick hair this might be a real problem, but I've got very thin, fine, slightly frizzy hair that doesn't benefit from a strong airflow. Most hair dryers, even on lower speeds, dry sections of my hair so rapidly that I don't have a proper chance to style them with a brush, and the rest of my rather sparse hair gets whipped around as if in a tornado. That doesn't happen with this Vidal Sassoon model. The oval-shaped barrel seems to also help concentrate the airflow.
I also like the fact that this dryer has three heat settings and two speed settings which can be selected independently. With some dryers high speed is paired with high heat whether you want it or not.
The ionic setting on this dryer DOES make a difference and makes my hair a tad smoother however it also tends to make it more limp. So as a rule, I use the dryer with the ion setting in the "off" position except when drying the ends of my shoulder-length hair. Probably someone with thick, coarse hair wouldn't have this issue.
I've had this dryer for only about 5 weeks, so it's too early to comment on whether it's built to last I was definitely lucky to get so many years out of my older model. This model might not be just right for every head of hair, but for mine, it's perfect. I hope Vidal Sassoon continues making this type of dryer for a long time.

I couldn't find a Vidal Sassoon full-sized dryer in town. I've had no trouble with this one. It does what it is supposed to do. I like the features of different speeds and temperature settings. I've been buying this brand for some time now. Hair dryers don't last forever, you have to get a new one every few years. I use it every day and it gets a lot of use. I was somewhat skeptical about this new ION technology, but I'm now a believer. I have fine thinning hair. The ION setting truly does increase hair density and minimizes frizz. I don't know how it would do for thicker hair, but it is neither too hot or too cool. The additional speeds and heat settings provide plenty of choices. I have thick hair that is a few inches past my shoulders. I dry my hair on the high hot setting. I used this for the first time yesterday and the dryer shut off halfway through the drying process. I know it is because of the safety feature that turns it off once it is too hot. I pushed the button on the plug to reset the dyrer and it turned back on for a few more seconds of drying then shut off. I turned the heat setting down to warm and was able to finish drying my hair. I do not recommend this for anyone that has thick hair that takes a while to dry like mine. It does dry sections quickly, but not quickly enough for my hair type.
