This is a awesome product. It truly cleans hair, my hair squeaked when I did a final rinse, hasn't done that in years. One thing to look out for, this shampoo does clean out the chemicals in your hair from the usual cheap shampoos we all have used, and other hair products, but after the second time, your hair no longer sticks together like its been glued. Get past that point and you will be as impressed as I was, and the smell is a mild fresh outdoor scent.

Vakind Hair Curler Magic Spiral Ringlets Former Leverage Stretched Reviews
I have arm pit length hair that is a mixture of natural (4A/B) from the roots to several inches down, and the rest down to the tips is straight from old relaxers. These curlformers get all of my hair uniformly smooth, shiny and bouncy. You couldn't tell that I have two different hair textures. The waves this product creates last for days. I love it because I no longer have to worry about the tangles I was getting in the natural-textured part of my hair after washing, can always get my hair styled and ready to go within 5 minutes in the mornings, and will never again have to wonder whether I'm going to have a bad hair day.
It took multiple tries to put in each of the first 4 curlers, but I quickly got the hang of it. By my third curlformer set (which is in my hair right now!), I am sliding these curlers on like a pro. I just wash my hair, spritz a small strand, twist the strand at the root, and the hook slides right over the hair and the hair glides down into the curlformer. Generally, I use 38 of the 40 curlformers that come in the package, but I'm thinking of ordering about 8 more because I want to make the sections even smaller.
Note: I put Krazy Glue all over the hook part as soon as I opened the package, because I'd heard horror stories from others about hooks breaking on first use. The Krazy Glue should help prevent breakage. This product does NOT come with instructions, so you should search YouTube for "curlformers" to see how other women are putting theirs in. If you need your curlformers in a hurry, keep in mind that this product will take several weeks to arrive, since it ships from China.
**Of note they had a weird chemical odor that lingered for a few days, even after a soak in a strong Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap bath. Be wise and air them out or bathe them before 1st use. I have no idea what residue was on them.**

With a continued practice I am getting better with each set and am conquering the learning curve, which is a bit steep. I watched quite a few Youtube tutorials for pointers, which is helpful, but actual practice on your own head, is how you learn what works for you. I am Caucasian with a lot of medium weight hair that is naturally wavy and layered -length is roughly 2 inches below my shoulders. I believe that this set of 40 is equal to the brand name of Extra Long and Wide set (NOT the Extra Long Extra Wide, which I would have preferred, but I make do by using slightly thicker sections of hair in each curler), sold by Sally's and also here. Don't spend 70+ for the CurlFormers Salon kit this set is equal to that one for less than 20. I don't sleep in them, too uncomfortable. I spritz each section of my dry hair with a dilute mix of Infusium and water, or use on freshly washed, slightly damp hair, for about 4hrs. If I'm in a hurry I speed up the process a bit with a soft bonnet attachment to my hand held dryer. I am pleased with the resulting long lasting, shiny curls and the compliments :-) well worth the effort and investment. These are sturdy curlers that will last a long time. This was is a really good product. I thought since they were an off brand that the quality wouldn't be there. The curl formers were made very well and created smooth curls in my 4B,C natural hair. I have long, thick hair and I used as many as possible and still have about 8 extras in the package. I was afraid I would run out formers before completing. After working with these formers for a few minutes it became very easy and fast to put in and take out. My hair wasn't fully dry so I ended up sleeping in them. It wasn't as bad as the other reviewers have reported. I would sleep in the again. I had this iron for 4 months when one morning while ironing my hair it blew up. Literally in my hair, it melted my hair on one side of my head. I had to go get 6 inches cut off my hair. Now this was not a user error, this product simply overheated and blew up while in my hair.
I sent the product, the original receipt, and the warranty card filled out to Izunami. A customer service lady called me from the company and said this iron was not covered by a warranty because I did not buy it from a authorized dealer. The laughable offer she gave me was to take the $89 I paid for it from this company and subtract it off of the $207 the item should have cost me. Yes, that was her offer to a customer who had all the original box, the original receipt, and the warranty card! Nevermind the fact that there product blew up and I had to cut my hair off...that she didn't even care about at all!
I asked to speak to her supervisor...she said "I don't have one". I am the only customer service rep. for this company. She also said to make sure when addressing anything to there company at 83 Harbor Rd. Port Washington, New York 11050 to make sure to write Izunami at the top because this is also a residence. Here is the customer service number 516-883-7756 if you don't believe me call for yourself!
This company is a very small company who has no idea what the word customer service means, nor do they stand behind there product. I repeatedly told this lady that this product came in a sealed new box with there warranty card....she did not care. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT she said no one on AMAZON is authorized to sell this and it will not be covered by there warranty. So you have 3 weeks to find out if this iron is not defective in any way and you can get your money back, otherwise forget it! If only it had blown up a little sooner I might not be out $89!
UPDATE! 10/05/2011 Amazon gave me a full refund of my money paid for this iron today. I think Amazon has gone over and above customer satisfaction....this faulty product should have been covered by the company that made it! Either that or on that nice little HASSLE FREE ONE YEAR WARRANTY card that comes with this iron, they need to put a disclaimer about buying it from a authorized dealer on it. My salon I go to has stopped carrying this product and I make sure to tell everyone I know about Izunami's non warranty! I was at a Janet Collection Show In New York and Celebrity Stylist Janel Sealy-Smith used this iron on a model. ONE STROKE, hair was flat and I was like WHOAH!!! WAIT A MINUTE!!! (LOL) I stopped production and said WHO MAKES THAT IRON? She said its called IZUMANI. I was like....mmm..never heard of it. So you know I googled it...but it was really no info on it, but my eyes seen it all. So I got me one, and its the best iron I have used. And I tried them all. This straightener is fantastic. I have been using cheapy ones for a long time, and decided to pay the extra for a great one. It is worth every penny. It comes in this fancy box, which is nice if you ever want to store it, which I won't be. I use it everyday.When you turn it on it beeps at you and less than a minute later it beeps again to tell you it's ready -so fast! And since it takes only seconds to heat up, you don't have to worry about it not being hot enough to do a whole head of hair. I have very long hair, so using the cheapy ones that don't get hot enough in the first place, and then having to wait while it heats back up after I did half my hair took a long time. This one cut my styling time down a bunch, plus it looks a lot better! Like having a great hair day, every day!
FYI: In the package it says to make sure your hair is dry before using it, and I have attempted to style it while just slightly damp, and it doesn't work very well.

I owned the Izunami straightener for about 3 and a half weeks. I thought I had found the best straightener in the world. I bragged about it to friends and my hairdresser. It worked great and my hair was perfect in half the time of my other straighteners (I have owned many). After about 2 weeks I noticed the straightener was no longer getting hot on one side. I turned it up to check out if it was working and tried it on a strip of my hair. The strip turned light and was totally burned! In all my years of straightening my hair and all the products and appliances I have used (hair straighteners, curling irons etc.) this has never happened. I turned it on one more time just to see what it did, (not that I would have chanced burning my hair again) and it starting beeping repeatedly whatever that meant. I returned it to Amazon today and in the future I'm going to be more careful about which straightener I use.Update Aug 24: Amazon processed the return quickly and returned my money.

What can I say, I just received my izunami 1 inch flat iron today and already used it..this iron has just worked wonders on my hair. I just LOVE it!! At first I wasn't going to spend $200+ on a flat iron but then I saw the other reviews and said umm I would like to see if it really does work and the icing on the cake was I can purchase one for just $79.50..great buy and my head flipped..I have to get it and I'm so glad I did. I'm transitioning to natural hair so its been hard finding an iron that can really smooth out my new growth and the izunami does just that. Excellent!!!! Highly recommended!!!

I have mixed feelings about this dryer. I purchased this dryer at a beauty supply closeout sale for around $30, a huge markdown from the normal selling cost elsewhere. In comparing it to other dryers in that price range, this is a nice quality dryer with an extra long cord. But while it is compact compared to other "pro" dryers, it is still an average size dryer (with no folding handle or dual-voltage feature). Unfortunately, after using it for four months, I see no difference in drying time nor do I see a reduction in frizz (with long, color processed hair). For what I paid, I am happy with this dryer since I needed one anyway, but all the "negative ions" and "titanium technology" hype is just that nothing more than a marketing gimmick. If you need a dryer for home use, this is fine, but the performance is not worth the huge price premium over other brands.
The price is also unbelievable.
I use this on high heat and speed to start off and then change to warm once most of the water is out of my hair. Then I use the cool shot to finish off my drying and add shine to my hair.
I love the small size but with 1900 watts drying time is fast! No damage at all from this dryer. I was not sure about using high heat but I have had no issues what so ever.

However, it does not have 6 settings. It has 2 speed, 2 heat and 1 cool shot button. I guess they count Off as a setting...?I use this on high heat and speed to start off and then change to warm once most of the water is out of my hair. The item looks EXACTLY as pictured, only mine came white not black like the picture dictates, and I didn't see that I had to specify color anywhere. The piece is solid; I dropped it and thought I would either bend it or knock the paint off, but neither occurred. I'm not sure if the seller used powdercoating or what, but its tough paint. The piece was very well made. My biggest gripe is it wasn't black, like pictured, and the hardware provided were some 1/8" anchor screws; I wasn't too keen on drilling a 1/8" hole into the wall.

This is a flat iron i purchased for my daughter however used it on my hair first. The temperature control is a great tool to have on any iron. lt leaves hair straighter than i thought. I have not used a makeup mirror in a very, very long time; however, wanted to try one to see how they have changed over the years. This is very similar to one I had a long time ago except that it has 5X magnification which is very helpful to me since I wear glasses and sometimes cannot see exactly how much coverage I am getting with my makeup. You can flip the mirror from normal magnification to 5X.
The slider bar at the bottom allows you to change color from Daylight, Office, Evening and Home. Since I do not have a lot of natural light in my bathroom, the Daylight works great. At least I know I can leave the house not looking like I put clown makeup on.
There is a plug in for other electrical appliances, but I am not sure this makeup mirror is sturdy enough to plug something like a curling iron in and move it around without making the mirror fall over so that is not useful to me.

I guess this mirror might be liked more than others, but most of the time my mom goes back to to tradtional bathroom mirror.

This mirror is better for the younger set who doesn't need the extra magnification to see. My daughter really loves this mirror and the different light settings are great for deciding how to wear make-up. When I was younger, I had a mirror like this with different settings for the light such as night time, and I remember the mirror as being really cool. This mirror does require some space on a counter or table and it has a plug in cord. My other make-up mirror uses batteries or electricity for the lighting and has a simple, small bulb. I am not sure where to purchase the lighting for this type of mirror should one of the lights go out. I do like the style of the bulbs that are verticle on each side of the mirror for thorough lighting. This mirror is perfect for my daughter to apply her make-up and then flip the mirror if she needs to pluck her eyebrows. It's very convenient and easy to use.

The bad,
Side lights do not move or tilt so I cannot adjust where the light hits my face when I am closer or farther from the mirror. This makes it impossible to use the magnifying side of the mirror with the existing side lights.
Being a near sighted woman who wears only glasses, I put my make on without my glasses obviously. I therefore need to be very close up and pull back, very close up and pull back and the Jerdon Euro Style rigid Lighted Makeup Mirror does not provide enough light at various distances (we are talking to a varience of inches) to apply my makeup.
Would work well for someone who wears contacts, or without a vision issue.

I have a lot of fine but very long curly/frizzy hair and this product is just the best. It feels like silk (not sticky at all) and smells amazing and most importantly clams the frizzes and allows my curls to be defined. I use it both on wet hair and dry hair especially before going to the gym as it also seams to protect my hair from getting broken when when it gets sweaty. I know its expensive but even with my very long hair a dime sized amount is plenty so it lasts a long time. I have also scoured the internet for tis product and the price + shipping that this seller is selling it for is veery fair. I also have to say I am very, very impressed with how this seller packaged the product for shipping. I purchased this product a few months ago and was initially happy with the product. That is until the hairdryer exploded while I was drying my hair. Scariest thing ever. Red plastic pieces flying everywhere with smoke coming from the dryer. The dryer was not damaged or dropped prior to the explosion. I contacted the company and have not heard from them.
It is heavy. Really. Also, the other reviewers that said that the buttons were easy to accidentally push while using weren't kidding. As you are holding and using the dryer, your fingers wrap around the handle and end up right on top of the buttons. It is almost impossible to not accidentally push one of the buttons while drying your hair. Also, the other reviewers weren't exaggerating about the difficulty with the attachments. There is NOTHING to help hold them on. So, using the diffuser is kind of a ridiculous arm-twisting ballet, trying to hold the attachment to the dryer with one hand and holding the handle of the dryer with the other, trying to not push any of the buttons directly under your fingers, while trying to shake your hair into place because you can't use one of your occupied hands to arrange your hair!
For the price, I suppose that this is a good option. but, when mine breaks, I will buying a different model or brand.

I am an age 40-something WASP with thick but now-fine hair that likes to frizz. I was impressed with the Andis hairdryer in the room at the Chicago Renaissance hotel, and looked for the brand on Amazon. The Andis Tourmaline/Ionic dryer looked interesting and well-priced, so I ordered it. It's a little heavier than the usual hairdryer, and the included diffuser has not yet stayed on when I try to attach it to the barrel of the dryer. Great blow dryer! Cuts drying time to half! The dryer itself is a little heavy but still a great purchase. I also like that it is quieter than my previous dryers.

It's just what I was looking for! I had purchased one of these files at a local craft fair & loved it! But then it broke & I wanted to find another one just like it this is the same size glass file. I love it! Took a long time to come in the mail, it shipped from China, but other than that the product & seller are great.

I really like this dryer. It does not get very hot, so if you're looking for a hot dryer, this is not it. I don't believe that this dryer is very heavy either, it's not light but not heavy. The only thing that bothers me about this dryer is where the switches are, I seem to switch it off when drying my hair by accident. Other than that minor mishap I can't complain about anything else. My hair is healthy and shiny after using this dryer.

This is a terrific value, and a great blow-dryer, but it does not get as hot as one might be used to, even set on "hot" and "high". I have VERY short hair, and find it seems to take somewhat longer than it did with an older Vidal Sassoon 1875-watt blowdryer. But this may mean it's gentler on my hair, so I'm not really complaining. So far, my hair seems shiny and happy with the dryer!What might be important to you is that this is a HEAVY dryer, unusually so, and may be harder to handle if longer or heavier, thicker hair.
The lights are FUN and, I must add, IT HAS BRIGHT PURPLE on it, which is my favorite color and a selling point for me! 8-)
