OMG... Finally I found something that can fight through my nappy chemically processed (relaxed), African-American, hair! I took a chance knowing Tresemme is geared toward Caucasion hair. I never see any of my kind slinging those longer locs unless it's a weave. Anyhow, I shampooed my hair with a sulfate-free shampoo and then drenched my hair with the Thermal Recovery Conditioner. To my surprise, I was able to work through those tangles with little to no effort. Rinsed and then used a quarter-size as a leave-in. I then sectioned off my hair and started blow drying. Worth the price ($6.49/25 FL OZ) at my neighborhood beauty supply store. Followed up with pea-size of silk therapy for sheen.... I'm sold!!!

I have to say that this product is amazing. I was highly skeptical, given the majority of negative reviews and the fact that the price was so low compared with other hair growth stimulators (I was looking only for something to help with my eyelash growth, not hair on my scalp). Upon receiving this cream, I too was disheartened by the lack of packaging and instructions and ingredient list. But as I had read on that this worked well to enhance and grow lashes, I didnt really care and I tried it anyways.

First, it is a little messy to apply, I had to purchase an eyeliner wand to use it, but after using it for several days, I had become a pro at applying it correctly. It is a bright blue color and although Ive been using it for about a month, it still can cause my upper eyelids to itch, but its usually fleeting and isnt really painful. If you go to the website where this is actually from, they recommend using it with Emu Oil. I have been using them both and I have to say that my results are amazing. My lashes have grown longer than they did with Lilash (another lash stimulator that has some cautionary ingredients) and they are much fuller and thicker. I look like I am wearing mascara when I am not and my lashes curl outward at the ends, giving me a 'glamorous' look that I love.

As with most products, every individual reacts to chemicals differently and one cannot always expect the same results as everyone else. I personally would recommend this product if you were looking for a fairly safe way to improve your lash length. This particular cream does not have prostaglandin which is a controversial drug that is used in the treatment of glaucoma and has some serious side effects which include blindness. It does contain some types of parabens which may have been linked to some forms of breast cancer when used in underarm deodorant. But since my eyes are not near my breasts Ill try not to worry about it. The price alone is amazing, considering that Ive been using it everyday for almost a month and my tube is still almost completely full.

In fact it may bleach out your natural color at the roots causing disasterous results. I have yet to use it 10 consecutive days, like the blog author says she did, (I have made it up to two consecutive days and then start forgetting until I find it somewhere in my bathroom again).

However, as infrequently and inconsistently as I use it, I still have noticed a little difference. I have only used it on my eyebrows, but I do notice my eyebrows filling up in the areas that seemed to never grow out before (after years of plucking and waxing). Anyways, I am sure I will see awesome results judging by the amount of improvement I have seen when I haven't even used it as much as recommended.

The first time i used it, it made my eyebrows kind of itchy (just slightly) and I was scared that my eyebrows would fall out, but that didn't happen, they look much better.

I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this product for my husband. Good product. Doesn't really have a disturbing smell. You don't really see results unless you are using it with another hair loss prevention product like nizoral shampoo. The shampoo by itself showed results to stop hair loss. We added folligen and it seemed to be OK, then when he skipped a few days of folligen we really noticed how much it helped to stop the hair from coming out. We will continue to buy

I've been using the Jason brand shampoos for a year or so now, and I've tried various different scents and types just to see what I liked best. I've always been pretty happy with the results, and I like that Jason's products are natural, organic, and sulfate-free. I finally bought and tried the aloe conditioner today, and it blows the rest out of the water.

First thing I noticed is that it's much more thick and creamy than the other Jason conditioners (and any conditioner I've ever tried other than special, deep conditioners and conditioning hair masks). I could feel the difference it made in the texture of my hair immediately. Even as I was rinsing it out, my hair somehow felt stronger and smoother. I let my hair air-dry with no product, and there's significantly less frizz than I normally end up with after washing. My curls were much smoother but not weighed down.

Next time I wash and condition, I'll leave this conditioner on longer to see if that gets rid of the frizz completely. I have a good feeling it will. I'll definitely be sticking to the aloe conditioner from here on out, and once I run out of Jason's lavender shampoo, I'll be giving the aloe shampoo a try as well.

Jojoba is a great ingredient for shampoos and conditioners. It makes hair very soft and smooth. The old St. Ives Jojoba Shampoo and Conditioner was such a great product that I wanted a replacement when it went out of production (as all good things seem to do). This Jason product doesn't pack quite the same punch but it's still very good. The scent is a little more feminine, but isn't strong and doesn't linger. The product sinks into hair quickly, but can be left on the hair for up to fifteen minutes for deep conditioning, and the extra time is well worth it. For the price, this is a very good product.

I only use natural haircare and I have a lot of fun experimenting with different products. I decided to write a quick review after using this particular conditioner last night.

It has a satisfyingly thick consistency that you really feel coats your hair with nutrients. I have pretty healthy hair but somewhat damaged ends, and I feel that this conditioner makes them smooth and manageable. I leave it on for 5-15 minutes and it washes off easily, leaving my hair soft with a hint of shine.

This isn't really a pro or con, but after washing it doesn't leave my hair with any smell. I tend to prefer sweet smells, so I apply a dab of natural scent afterwards.

I recommend using it with this brush for added shine and volume. It really helped bring out the shine in my hair and reduce breakage. :

I've been using the shea butter oil on my hair and skin for almost a week now and let me just say, I am in love with it! My skin has never felt so soft and for once I don't have to keep applying something to it throughout the day. After my shower in the morning I apply the shea butter oil over my body and I'm good for the rest of the day. I also use it on my hair and let me tell you it is a miracle. I recently bought this from Amazon to use on my hair,

and I'm glad I did, it's working really well.

I rub it into my scalp first, and then rub from root to tip on my hair, and leave it on for about an hour before washing it. The results have been great, my hair is extremely soft, and my scalp feels a lot healthier.

As far as the size of the bottle goes, I think it's actually a pretty good size.

And you can't tell from the picture, but the top of the cap has an applicator attached,

which makes it a lot easier when applying the oil to the scalp and roots.

I haven't tried it on my skin yet,

but I'd defiantly recommend it to anyone with dry or damaged hair,

especially if you color it frequently.

My hairdryer needed a home in my tiny bathroom, and when I saw this holder, I knew the size and storage space would be perfect... in theory. My hairdryer is very similar in shape to the one in the picture. The coils that hold the nozzle are shipped compressed in a thick plastic band. Be careful removing it as the coils are held under duress. Once released, you need to stretch them out a bit in order to really hold the hairdryer as designed. This is not easy. I first installed it without doing that and my hairdryer barely wanted to stay in it. It would swing in the coils every time I opened the cabinet door to the point of falling out if I didn't catch it in time. You also need to secure the power cord of your hairdryer to the body of the handle so it doesn't hang. My hairdryer actually has a retractable cord but the plug hanging at the end would cause an imbalance for the nozzle and helped it to fall out of the coils. Once I got the plug to stay on the handle and stretched out the coils, the hairdryer finally stays still when I open the cabinet door.

I have really thick coarse hair and I have been using cheap Conair hair straightners and other types of straighteners but nothing would give me that salon straight look that I wanted. I bought this blow dryer at Ulta 14 months ago. I loved it! It dried my hair quicker than other dryers and helped with the straigtening process. So much so that I will probably buy another one, same brand. Why do I have to buy another one after 14 months.......?? Because it stopped working. It has a one year warranty and died at the 14 month stage. And I don't even use it every day! I took it to a small appliance repair shop and they were stumped. It had something to do with the plug, not the motor. But the blow dryer is excellent in what it does to my hair!

This blow dryer is amazing. I have long hair that can sometimes be hard to tame. I have always had cheap blow dryers, which means I spent 15 minutes drying and then another 20 minutes curling it or running a flat iron through it. This one is a little on the bulky sideand it's often not worth it to try to rotate the attachments which will be very hot while in use. I've been using this product for many years. It makes my long frizzy thick and wavy hair less frizzy than the salon. It takes a bit of getting used to at first, but it works great. I section off my hair use the dryer, then a round brush to make sure it's completely dry before I use a straightening iron lightly. Then I move on to the next section. I have to replace it after a few years of repeatedly dropping in on a hard floor and the pieces eventually break. I recommend this product highly.

I purchased this 7 months ago and have used it a lot since then. I must say the day it came I was extremely disappointed in the quality; the plastic seems very cheap and the two releases you press, one on each side of the hood, were so stuck as to seem impossible to open it up. It must have taken me a good 10 to 15 minutes (I'm not kidding# to do that as I was so afraid of forcing it and breaking the cheap plastic. I finally figured out that if I press them both in at the same time #and I mean press HARD) and wiggle the hood back and forth, it will release. After 7 months, that is still the proceedure, altho it has gotten easier and has somewhat "broken in" with use. (Or I have just gotten used to it, not sure which). The next step is to press the release on the front of the hood which will allow you to lift and lock it into position. Once again, a struggle, but again has eased somewhat with use. I never have been able to find the 2 positions There seems to be only one, but by that time I am just glad to have it up. This is when I ran to my computer to see what else was on the market that I could get when I returned it. I needed something with a "cool" or "no heat" setting since my hair was damaged. I wanted one just like this only good quality. Maybe it's out there, but I couldn't find it, so I finally decided to give this one a try.

The good news is the heat settings. The "cool" setting really is, and stays cool as the motor runs. The next setting is "warm" and it is just that. I really like to switch back and forth between those 2. There are 2 higher heat settings which I have never used, only checked them out to make sure they work and they do. The bonnet seems plenty big (my biggest rollers are 1 1/2") and the air flow does not feel very strong, but it gets my hair dry pretty quickly even on those low settings. More good news: very nice to store and of course the price is right. Just one more pet peeve the cord is folded up and stuffed into a compartment that is about half as big as it needs to be. It works, but is annoying. I sure would have paid more for a retractable cord!

Overall I would recommend this dryer, until a higher quality one in the same style comes along. Just know that it is not the greatest, but it does do the job.

The picture shown here on Amazon for this product is not like the actual product, and the actual Gold 'N Hot box testifies to this. IT bears the true picture. While I did not open the GNH box that I ordered from Amazon, I bought a dryer before just like this 1200. It came in the same type of GNH box, which you have to destroy to get to the dryer. That renders it impossible to send back should you have to do so. I found that when I put curlers in my hair and sat under that dryer, the bonnet was too small for my head. I ordered this dryer because I thought the bonnet was as pictured. The actual GNH dryer is more cone shaped. Because of deceptive picturing, I wasted my money getting this dryer.

This product is poorly designed. The front closure lever you seen in the picture is plastic and has a metal mechanism underneath. The plastic part gets stuck and keeps the dryer from going down. Very frustrating after only 6 months of use. The dryer produces excellent heat but is difficult to open and close. Not worth the frustration.

It is made of cheap plastic and has only two settings too hot and too warm. The hood does not stay so it has dropped on my head numerous times. Once you set the height of the dome you have to wiggle under it not to disturb the setting. I have never been more displeased with this item and it just stopped working when I was using it. At least now I can replace it with a quality hair dryer.

Like most curly tops, I have an abundance of hair product and tools. Round brushes being one of them. I saw a short video on how to blow dry your hair and the person was using this brush. I took a chance and ordered it and I have to say, it worked! My other round brushes are wooden or a combo of wood and metal but for some reason this ceramic one did a better job and trust me, I am terrible and blow drying my naturally curly hair straight so that is saying a lot. Definitely would recommend this brush for curly and non-curly alike!

I love this brush as it does a great job of gripping hair and great a lot of volume. The barrel heats up enough in order to help style but not so hot that you run the risk of burning your hair. For the price, this is a great value.

When I first used this brush, I thought I found the ultimate brush for blow drying but it was a huge disappointment. The bristles on this brush melted into my hair causing severe breakage. I would not purchase another brush by Brazilian Heat. This brush isn't good for hair.

Unlike other brushes by this manufacturer, the 'bristles" on this one catch and tear fine hair. Stick to the brushes with straight lines of "bristles" if you have long fine hair like I do.

This brush is very light weight. The bamboo is pretty BUT it's very smooth and not easy to grip. So you have to use a lot of strenght to hang on to the brush or it slides in your hand. Another thing too, is the bristles are great when you first use it to blow dry, but as soon as they get warm from the heat of the blow dryer, they are so soft that they are worthless! They just bend and it's as if they aren't even on the brush anymore. So I threw this one in the drawer and got back on here to order another one from their regular line. Olivia Garden are absolutely GREAT brushes!! Just not these. :(

I read the past reviews on this product and the reviews were accurate. It is a powerful hair dryer that is not too big or bulky. I have a lot of hair that usually takes 25 minutes to dry and I'm able to dry my hair in 20 min now. I like the different settings and I have gotten a number of compliments since I bought it on how nice my hair looks. It is a great dryer!
