I can't stress enough of how cute this dryer is! It is the size of a glue gun (could easily fit in your pocketbook) and just gorgeous. Not super powerful, but exceptional for the size. My friends think it is the berries!

The dryer works and it is easy to assemble. There is two speed and two (not 4) heat settings and then there this Ion knob can bet either on or off. They must be adding this Ion knob to euphemistically call it 4 heat settings. The unis is OK and it works. WE have had it only for monh. Most great dryers have a interlocking switch with the from the front visor, so that when you lift the visor the unit turns off. This one does not do that. It is a nice feature to have. This unit is an inexpensive unit and is good value for the money. It could have been a great unit with few minor enhancements.

Seller is great. Package came quickly and in excellent condition. To be honest, I did expect a bit more from this blowdryer. (no reflection on the seller...) It appeared to be a professional dryer. It does a decent job. However, I thought it would cut drying time down dramatically. It cut it about 25% or so.

Best Thermal Spa Conditioning Heat Cap Deals
I ordered this product a couple months ago, and it worked as advertised for the first month or so. I used it about once a week after receiving it. Then the medium heat setting, which i used most often, started to failthe cap will no longer heat unless it is set to the highest setting. I emailed the manufacturer, Mastex, about it twice, and they did not respond. their website contains no info whatsoever on their warranty policy.
It turns out the only real way to reach the company (mastex/thermal spa) is by calling directly. Here is the information i gathered:
the warranty period is one (1) year
process: you send them the malfunctioning product. YOU pay the shipping cost, which is not reimbursed. The product itself is not repairable, so if it is broken they send you a new one.
The only problem I had was as someone else mentioned, it really only heats at the top of the cap, so you would have to pull your hair to the top. I was under the impression that the whole cap would heat all around. Also, because the cap is some sort of plastic material, the edge (of the cap) does hurt my neck by stabbing into my skin. I have to adjust the cap a lot or wear a protection around my neck.
The cap does need to be plugged into an electrical outlet so you do have to sit down or stay around an area while it's plugged in. It is pretty long, but I wouldn't mind it to be just a little longer.
I'm glad I bought this item & if it does happen to die eventually, I probably will purchase another one. The only thing I wish was that the whole cap heated...I know there are wires inside of it...but you get what I'm saying.

The entire back side including the nape doesn't heat up which make this cap practically useless for me. Perfect hairdryer at the perfect price! I had been searching for a 2000 watt hairdryer for a while but didn't want to spend too much money. After reading other reviews of this product on Amazon I decided to give it a try. Wow, what a difference! My hair dries quicker and is much more smooth and shiny with less flyaways. My medium length layered hair is somewhat thick with a natural but unruly wave. I blow dry it in sections with a large round brush to smooth and straighten it. Definitely a noticeable difference from my previous 1875 watt dryer. I no longer dread blow drying my hair.

I purchased this blow dryer for my daughter & I ended up using every day too! It is by far the best blow dryer I have ever used & I honestly didn't think a blow dryer was all that importmant & would make a difference. But it apparently it does! It makes my hair feel smooth & manageable & not only is it awesome looking & comfortable to hold because of the grip...it is extremely lightweight! I love my Babyliss Hair Dryer. I love the color and design of it and I love how it works. It's a powerful dryer without being too noisy and it dries my hair quickly which is a must. The cord is a nice length which is convenient because my last hair dryer had such a short cord that I had to sit next to the outlet to dry my hair. There are different settings on this hair dryer which makes it nice for styling.

I don't even remember the last time I went to a barber shop. I've always had my hair cut by my mother and now, for the past 5-years, my girlfriend. This review will not be from a professional stand-point, so please keep that in mind. I also don't use the tools so my review is based on what I've experienced on the receiving end and comments by the two people above.
Before I get started, let me just say that in my weeks of research I've learned that the difference between high-end and low-end models of professional clippers is noise, how cool they stay and motor power/rpm (all should have swappable blades). Besides various attachments, which are practically the same with all trimmers, that's the difference you're paying for in price. Now that I've explained the professional clippers, I just want to say that all of my previous experience was with cheapo "home" versions. The "home" clipper are cheaper, come with more pieces/accessories but they also don't last as long, feel cheap, sometimes they rip out hair and don't cut as quickly.
We've had Oster professional clippers for our dog for about 8-years now that are phenomenal, but they also cost almost $200. After going through so many home versions of clippers, we've finally decided to get professional quality clippers based on experience with the aforementioned model. Our budget was approximately $50 for clippers only. We were pleasantly surprised when we got clippers and trimmer for that price, of quality we were happy with.
These Andis clippers are definitely the best buy we've made thus far. They cut very quickly, so my cut time was shaved by at least 5-minutes. Even going at faster speeds I never felt like my hairs were being pulled. The trimmer/edger on the other hand, although it did a great job of the neck-line is a bit wide for edging around the ears. Scissors still had to be used for that. However my girlfriend liked this Andis Professional combination over everything we've used previously. We kept the trimmer for the neck.
Pros:
Professional quality w/fast & powerful motor
Should hopefully last much longer than our older "home" versions
Makes short time of clipping (no hair pulling!)
Trimmer does a great job with the neck and sideburns edging
Clipper has a great "feel" in small and large hands
1/16th to 1" attachments
Cons:
Clippers are slightly loud (no biggie though)

However, having said that, you'd be very hard pressed to find a better clipper/trimmer combination. If you don't think tapers are very important (or willing to get them separately) and if you're willing to edge around the ears by hand, then this is the best combination that I've been able to find for the price. This is definitely a quality product. I highly recommend it.

as a former US Marine and someone who has always liked to keep his hair short (not bald!), I have gone through dozens of clippers and trimmers in my day. so far, they've all been pretty much the same mediocre. this set however, is perfect for my needs. the clippers work smoother and better than any other i've used, and the trimmer cuts nice and close for a great beard/sideburns outline, or to shape the base of the hair on the back of the neck. the set as priced is a phenomenal deal. i think i paid $60+ elsewhere, and I'd do it again.Best Deals on Andis Professional 23965 Pivot Motor Hairclipper Combo
This is a great high-quality set. I owned cheaper hairclippers and comparatively speaking to this product, they were cheap and wonky. The larger buzzer feels very smooth and way quieter than the others I've used. I usually buzz my own hair, but the main reason I bought this set was because I now give my young sons haircuts and they are super-sensitive to the blade when I would do the trimming around the ears and back. With this set, they now love getting haircuts from Dad. One last thing that should be noted, that the description doesn't mention is that the package comes with attachments for both buzzers. The case is very handy, too. Okay, it does make the cut, but the unit I received also pulls at the hair. I've cut my husband and sons' hair for years and this is the first time the experience has been unpleasant for them. I found the final result to be uneven, though I was able to remedy that with scissors. Still, what's the point if you can't get a clean line? Also, I would like a guard with a taper for around the ears. i bought this clipper set i thought i wasgoing to enjoy but big misatake. the clipper by itself is ok, it's not the greatest and forget what they say about it does get hot while you use it. but the outliner is a lame excuse for a product it can't cut at first i thought the one i had was defective but they replace it for me same result it's just not good please stay away from that set you will be disapointed like me

This hair dryer is great for my long-curly hair. It allows me to check my e-mail, do online banking, read a book, or eat breakfast all while my hair is drying. I appreciate that it has multiple heat settings and ions. It dries my hair much faster than me standing in front of a mirror with a hand-held dryer with a diffuser attachment. And is much easier on my arm! It is loud I wear ear-plugs when I use it. But that is because it is producing so much air so my hair will dry faster.

I have very thick hair too and no patience for holding a hand-held dryer. This lets you do other things while drying hair. Not as noisy whatsoever as a handheld dryer and the air comes from up and around so that your entire head of hair is equally dried in maybe 20 minutes.Beware of shipping fees. The Belson Gold n' Hot hair dryer is either hot or cold. There is no medium heat. You have to keep turning the temperature between hot and cool until your hair is dry. Also, the bonnet is not secure and keeps coming off when handled. I wish the previous reviews had mentioned this. So far I have used this dryer 3 times and it has proven to do what it says. It's very sturdy and not cheap looking. I use really big rollers about the width of a soda can and surprisingly I just made it under. My hair is very long and thick, although it doesn't get very hot like I would like it to be it has force 1875 watts. It's strong enough to blow paper while I'm reading it which has never happened before. The stand is very convenient and makes sitting under the dryer a breeze. I sure hope this product will last as long as my previous gold n'hot dryer(5yrs.). As for the ionizing part, I don't know what its supposed to do but when I used it, it made extra noise which I didn't like so I turned it off, it is not a quiet machine and I don't know what powerful dryer is. I didn't give it a full five stars because I just bought it.
