Love this! This is my 2nd blow dryer in this brand. My first last years! This one is very light, I can hardly tell I am holding a blow dryer. I don't even dread blowing my thick hair dry. It dries in 5 mins. (no joke!) I would recommend, Highly!!! 5 stars for sure!Only silent on low speed. When you turned it on low, it was not warm enough to dry hair very well.

Completely satisfied, I could not believe that 10 MINUTES was cut off from my morning routine. Took only four minutes to blow dry my hair, it's shoulder length and according to my hair dresser tends to hold water. I purchased this product to replace my Conair Ion Shine (1875 Watt). Unlike my old Conair dryer, I find ths product dries my thick hair a lot quicker and the attachments do not fall off. I love that the cord is longer. I think it is more quiet, but you will definately hear when it is on. It is a little heavier than the Conair but I did not find this problematic. The controlls are easy to use. Upon the intial use, I did notice a strong mechanical odor that has since disippated with ongoing use. I am please with this product and would recommend it.

I have been flat-ironing my hair for over ten years, and I have had flat irons ranging from Conair to Chi. This flat iron is a very poorly made product. The way that the plates are adhered to the flat iron causes it to snag strands of my hair and break them. Even when I go extremely slowly and try to remove any snagged strands they still break the majority of the time. This is a horrible product that has done quite a bit of damage to my hair.
My only issue, that I've encountered, is that the cord is quite long, and I've already stepped on it while doing my hair.

I have very thick and wavy hair, and straightening my hair is SO hard! I've always wanted a good flat iron, but really couldn't afford one. I bought this flat iron off of Groupon and it is AMAZING. My hair has never been straighter, and it looks awesome. I didn't realize how long my hair even was, until I used this straightener. I don't have the snagging issue like the other reviewer. In fact, my old flat iron always was catching my hair in it and breaking it off. I have not had it happen with this one. I can straighten my hair one day, and the next day all I have to do is take a brush through it, and it looks like I just did it. This flat iron is my new love. I have very thick natural hair. I am African American and haven't had a relaxer in 3 years. I have been on the hunt for a good flat iron for a while now, and when I saw this Crush Flat Iron being offered on Groupon for only $35 I had to take advantage of it! I think this iron works pretty good! When I flat iron small sections of my hair it gets my hair very straight! I also like that all of the controls and buttons are on the inside of the handle. This is convenient because my old flat iron had the on/off switch right where you grip the iron and I would constantly turn my flat iron off on accident. Im sure there are better flat irons out there, but overall im satisfied with my purchase.

I have had this dryer for over a year and have been pretty happy with it. The cord works fine for me as does the folding feature for storage. I always use it on the hot setting and my hair has neither fried nor head seemed too hot. I use it about 3-4 times a week. As far as noise goes, I never used to dry my hair, so maybe I forget what a hair dryer noise level is acceptable, but this seems o.k. by me.

I bought 2 of those hair dryers, one for me, one for my daughter. After mine broke (2 months later), I used my daughter's and it worked for maybe another 3 months. I bought this dryer before going abroad for two reasons, dual voltage and it can be folded and takes up very little space. I was also traveling domestically prior to my departure, so it I thought it would serve my purposes well. In the US, I love this dryer! It was great and helped me to perform feats with my ridiculously thin hair! When I traveled to West Africa this summer, on about the second use it sort of blew up! Not only that, it took out the electricity of the entire house where I was staying! It worked the first time on the low setting. Perhaps that was the better option. Needless to say, it never functioned again and I had to bury it. When I returned, I actually bought another. Next time, I'll simply buy a dryer that is compatible with the country where I am traveling. This is a great dryer, and for the money, you just can't beat it! I love that the cord retracts and that it folds up. It takes up very little space in the bathroom.

What ever happened to the wonderful vanity mirrors that were so easy to find when I was growing up? They were nice and bright, to the point of being horrifying when you see your face in all that light. I started out with a Revlon one from the store, I couldn't even tell if it was off or on the lighting was so poor so I got this one instead. The lighting is very yellow, which I was somewhat disappointed in. While it is a little brighter than the Revlon one, it still isn't what I'd hoped for. I bought this mirror as a replacement for my Conair mirror which broke. I'd had that one for years and years, so when the light stopped working, there was no way for me to find a light replacement. I really did not want to buy an expensive mirror because I am clumsy and knock things off my vanity all the time. I chose this mirror because of the lower price than others and the mostly positive reviews. I like this mirror because I can store it elsewhere instead of on my vanity, so I don't have to worry about knocking it into the floor as often. I like that it's light and easy to move, and I love the magnified mirror and regular mirror. The lights provide a good amount of light for me to tweeze my eyebrows and apply my makeup. I dislike that the lights give off a warm, yellow-y glow, but I can live with that. I like that the lightbulbs are exposed, therefore easily changed if broken/out. The only huge issue I have with this is that the lights get really, really hot on my face after only a few minutes. I work in movies, so I am accustomed to having bright, hot lights on me all the time, but this mirror gets incredibly hot. It's bearable, but it's quite annoying. I find that I feel the need to take breaks because it makes my face feel so hot.
If having your face warmed doesn't bother you, this is an excellent mirror for the price.

When I got this a couple of years ago, I too thought the design was odd. Then I started noticing the dryers that the professional use. The switches were in the same place. The reason is.most hairdressers are right handed. They hold the hairdryer with their left hand and the brush they use for styling with their right. They like to have the switches where they don't have to take their hands off the dryer to change settings. This design allow easy access with their fingers to the switches. If you hold this dryer in your left hand, you'll see that is how it's designed. It's the difference between a hairdryer designed for a professional stylist and a consumer. You do get used to it but you have to remember, this is a professional hairdryer, meant for professional hair dressers. The dryer itself works great. If you are naturally left handed, you won't notice anything odd about the switch placement.

This hairdryer is fast, which is great because it is so uncomfortable to hold you want to get the drying over with as soon as possible. The on-off switches are pointy and right on the handle, so if you hold the handle as it's meant to be held, your palm is repeatedly jabbed by the switches. This is the best hairdryer I have ever owned. The on/off switches are placed for professional use, but once you get used to it, there is no problem. This dryer is not only FAST, but it leaves my hair supersoft and straight. I have coarse/thick hair, so finding a dryer do to the trick has been difficult my whole life. My daughter (long/thick but not coarse hair) used it when she was home and loved it also. I highly recommend this dryer!

My hair is relatively straight (about 2b, if we want to be precise) and fairly thick, although fine. I don't straighten it fully very often anymore as Im trying to grow it out and want to baby it as much as possible. That said, when I do go to straighten my hair, its great to have such a high quality tool to use.
I love how fast it heats up. The package says it takes a minute, but usually its warm as soon as I turn it on. I keep it at a fairly low temperature though, so your mileage may vary. The plates also heat evenly, no hot spots!
I also appreciate that the cord swivels. I like to curl my hair occasionally with my flat iron and this makes a swiveling cord a must.
The controls are also very straight forward. A power button, a dial marked with the various temperatures, and a light to indicate when its on.
Really there isn't any thing I dislike about this item, especially given the very reasonable price. I would recommend it to just about anyone looking for a top quality straightener.

What a piece of junk!!!! I had high hopes for this iron after reading all the good reviews. But it feels & looks cheap plus the plastic is very lightweight...don't drop it!!!! I am a licensed cosmetologist and was hoping to get one of these for my at home use (at a decent price) since I have had experience with them in the salon. I originally bought this iron to use on my teen daughters' hair....which is very thick, past the shoulders length hair. After reading and following the directions for heat settings, the iron does not get hot enough!!! Setting for her hair was 245 325 degrees, but had to turn up past 400 degrees using RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, to get it to work!! Next, I decided to try the iron on my hair, which is fine, chest length & layered cut. I do have a slight natural "wave" in my hair when I let it air dry and this iron will NOT take the wave out (no matter how small the amount of hair), without passing the iron through 3-4 times! Heat setting on 300 degrees (which was not what directions said to use) for me, but it didn't matter, took me 1/2 HOUR to straighten my fine hair!! I have used this iron on my hair, 5 TIMES in the last month since purchasing it, and am sooo disappointed with it!!
