Since my hair is nearly stick straight, I use a very small amount and rub it thru my damp hair before I blow-dry it. It gives me lift and body. Love it.

I have been using this product for several years now and I really think it's a good product but I can no longer justify the price. In the past I think I paid arond $20 for this. The last purchase was around $40. Certainly I can find something as good or better for less money.

I was very excited to get this particular hairdryer. My daughter has this product. It has many different settings and is used in salons. I tested the product prior to purchase and it proofed to be amazing. When I received the product through Discountjungle I was dissappointed because one of the speed settings didn't work. I called Discountjungle and was asked to send the product back. I had to pay for my own shipping of about $11.00. I received a new hairdryer and despite the fact that I inserted a note of the defect they sent me another one with the same defect. I called again and now I was told to send it back again to get a refund. I refused to pay for another shipping fee so Discountjungle sent a return label through Fed EX .

I still want this hair dryer but I would not order through Discountjungle again. I am a returning customer of Amazon and will continue to order through Amazon. I did not like Discountjungle.

I received THREE COMBS: The two pictured AND a dual-purpose White Comb.

The White Comb is a sort of Detangler comb, it's a total seven (7) inches in length. There are twelve(12) large teeth and then twenty-eight (28) tightly spaced narrowed ''teeth''. Very sturdy and yet gentle on the hair. I kinda got the impression this particular comb would be great for longer-length hair.

Each comb defintely gives a definite, different enhancement to my hair. Never experienced that before now...

The Black (pictured) Detangler/Pick Comb is eight (8) inches long, fourteen ''teeth'' on the top-end with twelve (12) inter-spersed ''jagged'' mini-teeth. Definitely could be used as a teaser comb. The pick has five (5) two-inch long teeth, in my opinion the pick portion could be used on anyone's hair for lifting while spraying, esp. for bangs.

The Black ''pick" comb is about 7-3/4 inches long with the metal pick about 3-inches in length, the upper portion actually has around fifty-six (56!!!) give-or-take a few very tightly-spaced teeth. I noticed the teeth durablility on this one wasn't quite as sturdy as the other two, but maybe because it's designed for specific teasing results is my best guess. I've used all three and like them all.

Surprised at the value/quality and detail. Recommended.

Well, really, what can I say about a package of plastic combs? They arrived quickly, in great shape, and are a nice low price. They are exactly as described. Combs. This wasn't very helpful was it? OK, since using these combs, my locks have become nice and manageable and all long and flowy and pretty. Seriously. Combs.

I don't know how they do it, but they are indeed antistatic combs.My hair doesn't frizz that much (still a little bit, but way better than ordinary plastic combs) after I comb my hair.

This pack of combs have everything I need to style and detangle my hair. I have natural 4c hair and the detangling comb is a godsend foe getting the knots of my kinky hair. I love that each comb is actually two combs, it really save som espace in my drawer and when I have to throw it in my purse. All of them serve their own purpose and are very good quality for the price.

If you have any frizz in your hair, which we all do, then this product is the best thing ever!! After I use any heat tools on my hair I have a bunch of fly-aways all over. Finally.... I've found the best hair dryer! I have really thick hair with a wave to it and find that this hair dryer works best when I'm trying to straighten my hair out. The highest setting for heat is perfect and doesn't burn your hair. There's a small button -in just the right place -that will cool your hair down in an instant. So, you use the heat with a round brush to straighten and then ZAP it with the cool air and "waaaa-laaa" your hair is straight without the frizz that can come from some blow dryers that don't get quite as hot as you need. The handle is contoured for just the right comfortable grip without getting a cramp in your hand. Two attachements come with it but I haven't found a need for them yet.

You might find that the price is a bit steep for you but it's well worth the investment. I've had mine for awhile and it hasn't overheated yet. In any good salon this is the hair dryer of choice!

I am so pleased with my SuperSolano dryer that I will never purchase another big box store brand again. It is certainly worth the extra cost and seems much easier on my hair as the heat/air selections are greater than my former dryer. It may be a bit heavier than my old dryer but it does not bother me at all.

I have fine hair but a lot of it and it holds water so it takes forever to dry. I have had my hair dried in salons with hairdryers that are so good it makes it unnecessary to use a flat iron. Products are also necessary but I use the same products and notice the hairdryer had made a difference. Unfortunately I didn't ask what kind it was at the time as I was satisfied enough with my drugstore hairdryer. Since its passing, I've been interested in finding something that will be light, quiet, cut drying time down and produce sleek shiny hair without burning it. Probably doesn't exist. So I decide the result and drying time is most important to me. This is my second Solano to try because I am pretty sure that's what was used the last time I was impressed by a hair dryer. It is not "light" but not bad. The sound is low not shrill and it is quiet, for a hairdryer. For me there can be one item within a brand that works well, even if everything else they make doesn't. That said, I'm tempted to try Sedu, Chi or Babyliss because the Solanos I've tried don't seem to provide results I've had before and I think it's because they don't get hot enough. However, at Ulta only the Chi seemed to get hotter and so hot it was scalding which might burn hair and scalp. The rep said the T3 worked but that was fifty more so it might have been an upsale. If you can't find a great hairdryer for under 150 there is something up. If they would list dryers by weight, air temperature and air force or make custom one since everyone's hair type is different that would be helpful. If anyone has any suggestions that would be appreciated.

I hae owned 2 of these dryers. The first lasted about ten years. I have purchased one for each of my daughters, who also have found the Solano to be efficient and durable. I have thick, wavy hair and never have to spend a long time drying my hair. I can recommend this dryer to anyone who wants to make a good investment in haricare.
