I bought this dryer recently (after reading about it in a magazine and gasping at the price) and it's the best blow dryer I have ever owned. I've had dryers since the first handheld (Max, remember?) and this one provides the fastest, most thorough drying of any by far. I have fine, naturally wavy hair which explodes in humidity and the T3 cuts the frizzing considerably. Also, since I am a slothful person in the morning, I am loathe the rise any earlier than I absolutely must, and this dryer dries quicker than my last (about 5 6 minutes for my just-belowthe-shoulder-length hair). I know it's expensive but it makes my mornings so much easier, it's worth it to me.

I really enjoyed this dryer for the 13 months I had it. It was quiet and dried my hair faster with less frizz. Unfortunately, sparks started flying out of it last week and some small flames appeared. So out in the trash it went. I cannot submit a warranty claim because I did not register it right away. Since I work and have 3 kids, that was not a priority so I am out $100 and back to a drugstore dryer that will last longer....

I bought this flat iron back in 2005 and just yesterday had to throw it in the trash. :( The only reason it had to be thrown away is because the wires pulled out from the end of it. But after 5 years of use and to have that be the reason it stops working, I think, is pretty amazing. Every other flat iron I've had has had the ceramic plates go out. I am so satisfied with this flat iron that I bought this same exact one just yesterday! I look forward to another many years using it! I would recommend this to anyone! It's the perfect size (1-inch plates) for long hair, short hair, thick hair, thin hair... whatever you have. It has many heat settings and doesn't fry your hair. I've always used it on the highest setting and it's never ruined or fried my hair. It makes my hair shiny and pretty.

UPDATE: I ordered this in June 2010, the first 2 or 3 (can't remember now) that I received DID NOT work. I had to send them back and get new ones. I finally got one that worked and it's been great up until a few days ago (January 2011). Now, it will not heat up at all. I'm returning it again and getting a different flat iron. Folica, the seller has been amazing though and very accommodating and helpful!

I say this is decent because it's not quite what I was hoping for, but it does the job okay. I was hoping the plates would be a bit more slick so my hair could easily slide through, but not so. My hair doesn't get caught or anything, but it doesn't seem to glide easily through the plates. Perhaps it's just the kind of plates or the coating or something?

Otherwise, this is a fine flat iron. I have pretty straight hair already so I don't need something that's super powerful.

Fairly small, but quite powerful. Dries my shorter hair in a few minutes tops. Will do European and US power settings, though at the higher voltage it will only work with the low setting.

I have long hair and I don't like to spend a ton of time drying my hair, so I need something powerful. I use this dryer as my everyday hair dryer, it's small size makes it easy to store and also not heavy to hold so your arm doesn't get sore.

It is true that you can only use the low setting in Europe; however, it seemed as though the low setting was putting out as much air as the high setting usually does here in the US. Also, I only took a small carry-on suitcase to Europe. Because of the fold-down capability, this hairdryer fit perfectly into my carry-on. I would highly recommend this product!

*UPDATE 1 year later*. It has been a little over a year now and I still use this dryer pretty much everyday and it works as well as the day I bought it. It is a great dryer and I would definitely buy another one when the one I have quits working.

I purchased this hair dryer several days ago to replace my Remington model that had been sparking and making a popping sound. I decided to spend a little more and try this one. I wish I had purchased it on Amazon because I now see that the price here is half of what I paid, but I needed it right away.

The first thing I noticed about this dryer is that it does not get as hot as my old dryer, which is a plus. My other dryer was too hot on the hot settting and not hot enough on the warm setting. The hot setting on the One and Only is just right.

This is a powerful dryer. It seems to dry my hair in less time without excessive heat.

I don't put too much stock into the Argan infused thing. I think that is a gimick, but I do think that this is a good, basic hair dryer. I did not use the free bottle of Argan "product" that came with the dryer because I stay far, far, away from anything with ingredients like those listed on the bottle. I use about 2 drops of 100% pure argan oil instead with great results. This is the product that I would recommed instead. Argan Oil 2 fl oz (59 ml) Liquid

So far, so good. I like the dryer and feel that it is an improvement over my old dryer. I think the combination of lower heat and more power will translate into healthier hair overall. I will update after I have been using it a while longer.

No problems gliding through my fine hair, and it's much handier than my full-sized flat iron. Heats up quickly, and it's perfectly portable. Has an on-off switch and red LED light, but is not temperature adjustable. It has dual voltage in the sense that when you travel overseas, all you need is an electrical plug adapter, not a full-on electrical converter. I have yet to test this out.

One problem: The iron doesn't stand up very well (like how it does in the picture here). It usually flops sideways on the counter top. I get worried about those metal plates getting too close to the counter top and scorching/melting/burning it. Maybe I'm paranoid, but those plates DO get pretty hot....

I'm super happy with the size of the iron and it does a great job. My only disappointment was the fact that it was advertised as having an adjustable LED temperature... not so. I kept going back and forth between a couple of irons and that feature is what sold me on this one, very frustrating. But it wasn't annoying enough to make me return it (I HATE dealing w/ returns!).

If you're looking for adjustable temp, don't be misled! If it doesn't matter to you, this is a great iron!

great for travel. heats quickly. i live in europe and travel to states alot so great that is 110v to 230v. only down side, not great slidability (is that word?) through the hair. don't know if it's because it's so small (i don't have really long hair) or if it is because of the titanium coating. i have a ceramic babyliss that is over 2 yrs old and hair still glides nicely through it.

Perfect little flat iron for getting close to your roots and around the edges. While it does not have an adjustable temperature gauge, it does not scortch hair if used properly. I have thick, not course transitioning african american shoulder length hair. Just a quick swipe over my roots and my hair is shiny, silky and straight. I also purchased the 1 inch ultra slim flat iron as well for my ends and styling. Also, a wonderful product as you can adjust the temperature and create silky styles without heat damage and tons of work.

I have recommended this product to all of my co-workers and 4 have now purchased and are loving the results. The claim that this iron straightens from the inside of the hair shaft outward sealing in moisture and creating shiny results is definitely the truth in my opinion. I will never go back to another flat iron ever.

Had to come back and do a review. I purchased some very expensive human hair and less than 3 weeks later it was a tangled dry wreck even after washing it thoroughly and using special conditioners. i did some research and bought this product. I ordered it a day ago and received it today; I put it on in sections (my weave is sewn in) and it restored it immediately almost just as smooth and manageable as the day I purchased it. Don't get me wrong I still need to let the beauty outlet know that this was not a good batch of hair but by the same token I'm glad I no longer look like it wasn't. Excellent stuff. It seems to work better than the spray version for some reason, although I thought the ingredients were the same. Makes hair silky without weighing it down. It is the best product I've found so far for my long, fine hair.

Not perfect for all hair types, but most it seems to cover. It does smell delightful and leaves your hair feeling smooth. Just running my fingers through my hair I could tell the difference of smoothness. And it SMELLS SO GOOD!
