I was skeptical about the ceramic disk/ion feature, that it would actually reduce the static electricity, fly-aways & frizzies and make my hair shinier and more manageable. How could a thing that blows air do all that? I knew I needed to look for something new though because after using my old blow dryer, my medium thick, wavy, frizzy fly-away hair was not presenting itself in a pretty way but just looking worse and worse. Any grade of shampoo and conditioner didn't seem to make a big difference overall. It got to be where I just dreaded the task of doing my hair. After using this Conair dryer one time, my crown of glory was good enough to go as-is if I didn't have time to use the flat iron. This is a 100% improvement over my old-no-special-features blow dryer which has been retired to probably dry pets and mittens and boots or whatever. Now after using this Conair almost daily for about a month, I wish I had learned about the technology way sooner and saved myself a lot of angst over how to tame my hair. I love this blow dryer and that it came with three attachments (I don't know which I like best), that it is light weight, has a sufficient length cord, dries my hair quickly, isn't overly loud, and most of all that I can SEE that my hair is in better condition.

So after my beloved blowdryer of 9 years took a dump, I was forced to try a new blowdryer. I was less then thrilled about this because in the past 9 years, I had tried using a few blowdryers and all of them were returned the following day after using. I have very thick, somewhat wavey hair and nothing besides my aged blowdryer had seemed to dry my hair in a decent amount of time. After my old faithful started burning my hands, I had no choice but to venture out and find something new. I bought this conair blowdryer last night and honestly, I wasnt looking forward to drying my hair this morning but let me tell you... I am SOOOO happy about purchasing this dryer. I used the "straightner" attachment this morning and it works wonders! Although it didnt leave it straighter iron straight, it left it smooth enough to not need the straightner, not to mention it dried my hair in record time and the different heat settings are awesome! I paid $19.00 for it at Walmart and this was such a bargain purchase. Im VERY happy with my hairs texture after using this and im excited to try the other attachments.

My 10 year-old Conair just died so I bought this model. So far it has been perfect. The airflow is great. I love the temperature settings with the cool shot. I mainly use the straightening attachment which is perfect. This works just as well as the $150 ones at the salon.

I have been using the Folligen on my lashes and brows just about every night for about nine weeks. My stubby and sparse eyelashes have become thicker and actually have some curl to few (NEVER before seen on this face!!). My eyebrows have not been quite as successful. However the residual pinpoint scars from when they were tatooed on (DUMB, dumb, dumb) about 10 years ago, probably interfere with hair growth anyway. As a bonus, I have been smearing any overflow lotion on the beginnings of 'widow's peak' area, and I am seeing those beginning to fill back in. All in all, I am surprised and VERY pleased with the results. I may not be getting 'lush, Hollywood lashes', but have a lot more and longer than I'v ever had in 60 years.

This product may work for hair growth on your head or brows, I don't know. It doesn't come in a large enough size to be used on your head though... You'd use a bottle each time. Anyway...

I bought this hoping to use as an eyelash growth product since I'd read reviews elsewhere saying it regrows lashes. This is definitely NOT meant to be used near your eyes. It stings no matter how careful you are not to get it in them. I couldn't use it long enough to tell if it really works, it irritated my eyes so much.

I used this product on my lashes for over 3 consecutive months, applying every evening religiously. I saw absolutely no difference in lash growth or health. Also, you definitely need a precision brush to apply this stuff, it can be messy. I forked over the money for Revitalash, even though it does not contain the same formulation to stimulate long lashes like Latisse. Revitalash still yields noticeable results--lashes are longer (but not ridiculously longer like with Latisse) and they seem to stay healthy and long even after you stop using it (not so with Latisse--newly grown eyelashes will fall out!).

My recommendation: save your money, or fork over a little more on another product for visible results.

This was recommended for eyelash growth. No. Don't do it. Burns and does nothing. No instructions. No ingredients. I threw mine away. Company doesn't send instructions for use. Bad product.

This brush is very scratchy (the ends of the bristles are jagged). It's bristles are also pretty flimsy and don't pick up my hair or pull it into the barrel very well. I have fine hair but lots of it. This would be better for very fine and thin hair... except for the fact that it pulls hair out. Where the barrel attaches to the handle is a groove that the hair slips into and gets stuck. I might try filling the gap in with some kind of glue. Just have to figure out what kind (don't want anything grippy).

This was also packaged in a box that was not tall enough for the bristles they were smashed and I almost sent it back. Very poor presentation. I decided to give it a try anywho. Luckily the heat of the hair dryer and brushing through it made them straighten back out.

I was a little dismayed by this brush. Call me sadist, but I LOVE to hear my children whine and scream every morning and night when it is time to comb their hair. It is so enjoyable to have them cry and claim abuse as I tenderly comb their hair. After using 1/2 gallon of relaxer, straightener, cur detangler and random other chemicals each night just to avoid them curling up like a ball in agony and howling like a cat.

Enter, the wet brush. This comb glides through the nappiest of bird nests with ease. As a professional knot remover, this brush is putting me out of business. Now I no longer have the bonding time of ripping their hair out by the roots when I comb their hair.

I have two daughters with Tangled-length hair and tight rolls, so let me tell you, I get my fill of fun hair mornings. I'm a dad with short hair, so my styling skills are limited. Now, this brush allows me to explore my pinterest fancy and push the limits of combing works of art in their hair.

All kidding aside, this brush has changed the relationship with my daughters. I can't believe we've gone through 10 different "amazing" brushes only to find this inexpensive game changer. It would only be perfected if it would help them get out of bed in the morning for school.

I have long hairits almost to my butt and straight. It tangles very easily and I have to brush my hair before I wash it otherwise I will not be able to get it untangled after I wash it. I used expensive thick conditioners just so that it makes it somewhat easier. but still it would take me at a very long and painful time to finally get my hair smooth.

I ordered this and I tried it immediately on my dry hair, that had been brushed earlier, and the brush went thru with ease and the bristles did not get caught and pull my hair hard at all.

I then tried it after I washed my hairwithout brushing it right before washing it like I normally wouldand I had no issues what so everit was the fastest and easiest time I have ever had brushing my wet hair, and there was no pain. I was afraid that maybe it wasnt getting everywhere because it just seemed to be working too good, so I took the brush I normally used and brushed it after and it was smooth.

Needless to say, I am extremely happy with this brush and I could not be happier.

Ohhh I also at the same time bought a detangling comb... and that didnt workit kept getting stuck in my hair.

I've had this flat iron for about 5 years and I love it. Makes my hair silky and straight, even in SC humidity. I love the long cord... very handy for doing my girls' hair. I like the 1 inch because of the versatility. I can flip or curl with it. Like someone else said, it is very hot, so I would probably stay away from the highest setting unless you have very coarse hair. Otherwise it will burn the ends. Literally. I only made that mistake once... smokey. However, once you find your setting it's awesome. My hair stays straight until the next time I wash it.

This is by far, the best flat iron out there. I have tried lots and most of them are pretty junky. Well, they cost you big bucks but they don't do much to your hair. This one really flattens your hair and it does quite a bit of hair at one time. I've even had a CHI before and while it did work nicely, it only did small sections at one time, so it took me at least twice as long. The product is the best. It's affordable, it flattens very nicely and it works quickly. I've already bought 2 for myself (the first one was broken by someone). Give this product a try and you'll absolutely love it!

My last flat iron bit the dust during Mercury retrograde in the middle of the summer here in NYC. Ugh. I have bangs, it's my thing, so I needed to replace that baby quickly otherwise I'd scare small children on the street. I had my old Jilbere flat iron for about six years (SIX YEARS, people) of almost every day usage. It traveled with me across the country and still kept ticking. So, I knew I would have to buy this brand again, no doubt. It looks great, heats up super quickly and let me just say-it's 97 degrees in NYC today. This product is amazing!! I am currently in Iraq where the weather is very hot and it's sandy and dusty which dries out my hair tremendously. I use the Mastex Thermal Heat Cap about 3 times a week to deep condition my hair and I must say that as a result of using this product, I am able to sport healthy hair in a combat environment. For black hair, it is a battle just making sure that my hair has enough moisture, but this product has definitely eliminated the problem of "dry hair". I had no issues with the size of the cap and I wear a size 7 1/2 in military headgear. I would recommend this to everyone especially those that have no space for a hard hat hair dryer and want to do effective deep conditioning treatments.

I tried the heating cap from gold n' hot. Many have complained that the gold n' hot does not get hot at all. I agree. The mastex professional heat cap get hot right away. i love it.

I figured after a year of use, I can finally write a review. I love the product because it heats up very well, the second notch is the highest that I will go. I do a hot oil treatment a minimum of once a month. I have used it with deep conditioning treatment and henna. The only negative aspect is that the straps for the neck is uncomfortable and my entire head does not get a good heat treatment without it. Despite that minor problem I still use the heating cap and will continue to do so until it doesn't work any more.

I still use this heating cap and it still works like it did when I first received it. It is now 09-10-2010, so about 10 months since my last review. I have since then used it every first of the month give or take a few days. I have also used it with olive oil and honey. I have even put the heating cap on the lst notch and took a nap with it on. I now only use the 3rd notch during the winter time if I only want to be under the cap for 15 to 20 minutes. I usually have it on my head for about an hour.

this cap gets HOT, so hot you will prob use level 2. i made the mistake of not reading the reviews and the first cap i ordered was the gold n hot cap, what a mistake. it did not heat enuff to do anything. this is the cap. so glad this one works!

I recently purchased this heating cap and I think its pretty good for the fact that it gets very hot. It has 3 heat settings and I usually just put it on the 2nd level, the 3rd level would burn my scalp. One downfall to this product is that it fails to heat the back part of your hair, so what I end up having to do is section my hair up high on top of my head cause that's where most of the heat goes.
