I've had this flat iron for about 5 years and I love it. Makes my hair silky and straight, even in SC humidity. I love the long cord... very handy for doing my girls' hair. I like the 1 inch because of the versatility. I can flip or curl with it. Like someone else said, it is very hot, so I would probably stay away from the highest setting unless you have very coarse hair. Otherwise it will burn the ends. Literally. I only made that mistake once... smokey. However, once you find your setting it's awesome. My hair stays straight until the next time I wash it.

This is by far, the best flat iron out there. I have tried lots and most of them are pretty junky. Well, they cost you big bucks but they don't do much to your hair. This one really flattens your hair and it does quite a bit of hair at one time. I've even had a CHI before and while it did work nicely, it only did small sections at one time, so it took me at least twice as long. The product is the best. It's affordable, it flattens very nicely and it works quickly. I've already bought 2 for myself (the first one was broken by someone). Give this product a try and you'll absolutely love it!

I purchased this flat iron after using it in my mom's salon. I have long, VERY curly, and frizzy in places hair. I always purchased the 2" paddle flat irons only to have frizz after I stepped out in the humidity. I tried various/salon quality flat irons. When I used this flat iron my hair stayed completely smooth and straight even on rainy days! My dreams have been answered FINALLY!!! This will be the first summer I will be able to flat iron my hair and it stays that way!!! This iron is awesome, it heats up quickly and glides through your hair with ease. I promise you that you will be very pleased with this item! I use the Chi silk infusion oil as my hair protectant prior to flat ironing. As a licensed cosmetologist I can't stress the importance of using a protectant!!!

My last flat iron bit the dust during Mercury retrograde in the middle of the summer here in NYC. Ugh. I have bangs, it's my thing, so I needed to replace that baby quickly otherwise I'd scare small children on the street. I had my old Jilbere flat iron for about six years (SIX YEARS, people) of almost every day usage. It traveled with me across the country and still kept ticking. So, I knew I would have to buy this brand again, no doubt. It looks great, heats up super quickly and let me just say-it's 97 degrees in NYC today. It feels like I'm walking through the amazon, my face wet with dew, the smell of homeless hanging in the air...but my hair? It's flawlessly straight. And that is what I'm talking about.
