I am enjoying this product very much. The bristles are not damaging to my fine hair ; it does ge very hot watch your ears. Unfortunately the first one which was sent had a defective switch. I was charged shipping to send it back. I really feel that I shold have been send a return free label . I am in the process of trying to reclaim my shipping costs. Don't know if I will succeed.

I love this stuff! My sister introduced it to me and I've been using it daily ever since. I have relaxed hair and it adds moisture, shine and even some bounce. I love how it preserves my daily hairstyle. I put some on at night before wrapping my hair and a little in the mornings. The best thing is you really don't have to use much, only about a nickle sized glob depending on hair thickness and texture. Honestly one bottle lasted me about 4 months, so that was great.
Definitely shake the bottle vigourously before using though otherwise you'll get a handful of oil. Its not heavy at all though, its light and fluffy and just enhances the look and feel of my hair. Would absolutely recommend it!

This product did a good job of keeping my 15 month old baby's hair moisturized. My only complaint is that it didn't absorb properly so at times you could see the moisturizer sitting there. This just means that you have to really rub it in. Apart from that, I'm happy as it prevented that dry look that ethic hair can sometimes get.

I was looking for a gel product that held my hair smoothly without letting little stray hair poke out and make the style look messy. I have to wear my hair up every day, and this product seemed to be the one that would do the trick when I was reading what it was supposed to do. I bought this hair dryer for my wife on April 29, 2006. More than three years later of almost daily use it is still going strong. I was hesitant to spend so much on a hair dryer but after spending approximately $20 every 9 months because of burn outs on cheapo dryers I decided to pay attention to what the professional stylists in my neighborhood in NYC were using. I figured if they use it all day, every day, they must be using a reliable model. After peeking my head in numerous windows and doors, turns out this was the dryer they were using.
I don't know about hair dryer specifics (like difussion) but this has a easily removeable (simply unscews) back screen to clean out hair/fuzz as opposed to my wife using tweezers and an hour of time in the old days to unclog the back filter. That alone seems worth it. Comes with a bunch of attachments I have no idea what they are for. I am just really happy it is reliable and not a piece of junk like so much else today.

This dryer is awesome, BUT whomever designed it didn't think!!!! They put the on/off high/low/ buttons on the handgrip! I keep turning the thing off while trying to dry my hair. It has a loooonnnnngggg cord!! Love that, great power, dries hair fast (if you don't have to keep turning it BACK on). That really gets me. Otherwise it's a keeper.

I have long thick brown hair that has a little wave and some frizz. It normally takes a long time to dry with the dryer, so most times I do not bother. I just let it air dry. I bought this dryer about a month ago. It replaced my second defunct Chi ceramic dryer. I loved the original Chi that I had, and the replacement worked on my hair as well but was not as well-made, so may have soured my Chi-love. At any rate, I think I may prefer this one. It does trip the GFR switch everytime I turn it on, but that is no big deal. I just hit the button on the plug. It is a tiny bit heavier than the Chi, but it only takes about 5-7 min to dry and style my hair, so the weight has not bothered me. I have a lot of fine, curly hair and the brush attachment worked to straighten it the first time I bought it. After that, it was worthless because the brush attachment kept falling off the blow dryer. In other words, the brush fell off the dryer every time I tried to pull it through my hair. This was caused by the heat of the device expanding the plastic on the clamps of the attachment so that it no longer gripped the dryer. I went back to the store and they kindly gave me a replacement, but the same problem occurred. I phoned Conair and they suggested I put the brush attachment in the refrigerator (I kid you not) while it was still warm so that the cold would shrink the clamps back to proper size. This did not work. They then offered to send me a replacement dryer. I explained that I had already tried that. I asked for a refund. They gave me the runaround for quite some time and then phoned me back to say that all they could do was offer me a replacement. I have been using hairdryers like this one for at least twenty years. So happy to find this on Amazon.com! My hair tends to be a little frizzy after washing and I find that using the large comb let's me dry my hair and not have as many frizzies! This dryer is light. I used it for about a week. It did an okay job on my hair, nothing extra special. It was relatively loud as blowdryers go. The shape was awkward to hold, the cord was short, the vent covers kept opening, and the buttons were in the perfect spot to accidentally turn them off and on while trying to dry. I have dark brown hair and I was scared to try sun in because it said it may turn dark hair red but it didn't! I wanted light brown hair so bad and that is what I got! It is very gradual though so you can choose how light you want to go. I used it about 5 times and got the color I wanted. These are a great price too so I baught 4 but one bottle goes a long way.
I think the trick to this product is to start slow, very slow. I purchased a bottle of the tropical and started with spraying a little on my fingers and adding it to a few strands around my face because I was afraid that it would damage my hair or turn it a funky color. I would do this every other time before I would blow dry my hair, and I really liked the results. No damage and no strange, unnatural color I also should mention I use this when my hair is towel dried before blow drying. I then got a little braver and started to directily spray it on small sections on the top of my hair, framing my face and then running my fingers through that section to distrubute it. I didn't saturate with the philosophy that less is more. The top half of my hair is now really, really blonde and I am asked all the time if I get my hair high lighted. When I reply with Sun In, people usually do not believe me.
I really did not use very much each time, and one bottle lasted my a year and a half. I was shocked it lasted me that long. It is a very good investment for the price. Now my next step is the under layer of my hair. It has gotten significantly darker now that it is January and there is a definate difference in color from the top layer of my hair. I've started to spray about 3-5 times around my bottom layer, towards the roots, and I am fairly confident that I will get the desired results.
Through my experience, the key to this product is patience, patience, patience less is more! I have always heard negative things about Sun In my whole life, but all of those myths are busted. I ordered one in lemon and one in tropical and that should last me a few years. I'm very glad I took that chance and started to use this product and I really hope they never stop selling it!

This product works well, but according to my hairdresser it isn't so great for your hair. Unlike natural lighteners like lemon and vinegar, Sun-In has chemical ingredients that remain in your hair until it grows out. It will continue to lighted each time you go out into the sun. So just make sure you use it sparingly, and don't rush the results. A light spray before you head into the sun will lighten your hair, but if you drench your hair it might wind up much lighter than you initially intended.
