I have already filled out a review, the wheels that were sent with the rolling Trolley are different then on the picture, it was damanged in the back along with being unbalanced. Not happy, when filled out form I have to pay for the big item to be shipped back and then returned to me. Not a good way to handle business at all.

I love Aquis products but this hair turban is my least favorite so far. It absorbs great as do all their towels but apparently my head is too damn big. Its a real stretch to get the button into the awkward loop to secure it. The sides are also stretchy which I don't care for.I have several other style turbans that I prefer. I'm sure this would be great for women with less hair or a smaller head.Ok, now you're picturing me as Medusa or some cartoon head person. Just stop it.

The Aquis Microfiber Hair Turban just cannot be beat! I have medium length hair, extremely curly (aka frizzy), but I was dying as my antique hair turbans (maker unknown) were fnally dying. I didn't know what I was going to do! They are just perfect to wrap your hair in and by the time I have dried the rest of me and thrown some clothes on, it's time to tackle my hair already! I couldn't keep a "normal" towel, regardless of size, balanced on my head, even some with buttons and loops that as far as I was concerned, where in the wrong place. Not to mention the weight! I was SO thrilled to find these that I ordered two. In one day, I was back ordering 4 more. As well made as they seem to be, they may very well last me the rest of my life. I just wish they had a dark color (brown?) available for those days I need to color my hair. Nothing worse than staining a perfect towel and since they are so absorbant, I doubt there would be any way to avoid it. So, I use a horrible imatation one on those infrequent days and save my Aquis Turbans for every other day of the year! And I truly hate myself if I go on a trip and forget to take one, so now, I have one packed in my suitcase, so I can't goof up again! They are wonderful as long as the button and loop hold out and I will gladly repair those myself before going without!Thanks for carrying them!

Hair Turban vs Hair Towel: I already owned two hair towels, but left one at the hotel and needed a replacement. After reading the reviews, I still couldn't decided whether to go the turban or towel route. I decided to try the turban. After using each product, what works best is both/combination. After washing the hair, use the towel to dry super-wet hair. I find the turban a bit small and awkward to do the initial dry, plus it just gets too wet for the maximum benefit. After drying with the towel, put the turban on for a few minutes while doing other routine tasks. This makes a huge difference in the time it takes to blow dry thick hair. A couple of reviews seemed to think this product would completely dry the hair. It doesn't, but greatly reduces the blow drying time, cutting down the damage to the hair. I needed a travel dryer, and wanted the smallest one I could find. Since I was buying on-line and couldn't see or try one out, I bought two dryers off Amazon, this one, and the Andis 33805 Micro Turbo, so I could compare. Both of them turned out to be great small dryers, and when on High, have move heat and airflow than some full size dryers I have used. However, the Andis is smaller, even though it does not fold, and is the one that I prefer of the two. But, either one is a great little dryer and I would recommend them both.

I wanted a good, basic travel hair drier that included a loop to hang it. This fit the bill and was cheaper than any local alternatives. I spent many hours searching local stores for one. I've only had this dryer for a little over a week, so I will be sure to update my review once I've had it a bit longer. For now I just want to say that I love this device! It makes drying your hair so easy, and it makes for frizz-free hair.
I bought this dryer since I've recently started coaxing out the waves and curls in my hair. Using a diffuser on the end of my blowdryer has helped bring out the curl, but I get impatient with drying, and end up moving the blowdryer around too much, which leads to frizz. Based on research I did online, I learned that dryers like this Hot Tools one are great for curly/wavy hair, and I definitely agree! Using the same products and techniques before drying, I've found that using this Hot Tools dryer leaves me with zero frizz and lovely curls/waves.
It is extremely easy to set this up for the first time (it took me less than five minutes), and, once it's set up, is very easy to maneuver and adjust so that it is positioned exactly how and where you want it to be. If it's not exactly where I want it to be while I'm drying, I can easily turn around while sitting on my stool and adjust it so that it is right where I want it to be.
One reviewer mentioned that you could do makeup while using this, and I had been hoping to do the same so I could save time with my morning routine. I've found that I can apply my foundation, blush, etc. while under this dryer, but because I have to get in close to my makeup mirror to do my eye makeup, I can't sit under the dryer while doing my eyes. I usually set it up, though, at my vanity and check email or do work on my laptop while my hair is drying. It's great for multitasking!
It also works great for deep conditioning treatments that require the use of heat.
I almost didn't purchase this since some of the reviews suggested that the top helmet wasn't too sturdy and had a tendency to break off. I had also been worried about it being unstable, but have found neither of these areas to be a problem. The helmet portion is securely attached, and when I wheel it around or move it to the spare bathroom where I store it, I just make sure that I support the helmet portion so that it won't snap off. It seems like it is really secure, though.
On one side of the helmet/hood portion is the phrase "Purple people heater," which cracks me up each time I use it.
All in all, I'm really glad I got this! As mentioned above, I will be sure to update my review once I see how this holds up with more use, but so far it's fantastic!
UPDATE ON 5/13/11: I've had this dryer for a little over four months, and continue to love it. It works really well, is sturdy, and makes multi-tasking while drying my hair so simple. I really recommend it!
UPDATE ON 7/13/11: This is still working great, with no problems at all! I also wanted to add that I recently had my hair cut by a curly hair specialist who does Deva Cuts, and she said that hard-hat dryers like this one are the best thing to use for curly and wavy hair types.
UPDATE ON 11/1/11: I've had this dryer now for about ten months, and it's still going strong. It works perfectly, and is still sturdy and easy to use.
UPDATE ON 7-27-13: This dryer is still going strong, and I love it for deep conditioning treatments. However, my hair is now mid-back, and it's too long to fit under this. That being said, this still works great for drying, and has held up really well.

Right after assembling this dryer, the small plactic part that holds the dryer head to the base snapped. This plastic post, which is weakened by the holes drilled through it for the three attachment rivets, is poorly designed and too weak to handle the torque created by the weight of the dry head. I love this dryer! It has a higher wattage than the other brands of similar dryers, and it looks better too!It is not only beautiful but works FAST! I got it to dry my hair in the morning before work, while I put on my make up. I hate standing with a blow dryer!!! I just pin my hair up with a few big clips and sit under this dryer and by the time my make up is done, my hair is dry.
I do still blow dry my bangs first to keep them smooth, but the rest dries in a natural wave due to the gentle air flow from the dryer.
It gets really hot, but you can also set it to a lower temp if you want. But I like it hot so my hair dries fast.
I also like the fact it is on wheels and easy to roll around and get out of the way. My old drier was the type that sits on a desk and it was a hassle to get to the correct height, this one is easy to move up and down.

I was very disappointed with this dryer. First of all, the high heat setting feels like the depths of Hades and the low heat setting blows cold air on you. I was willing to overlook that, but then my low heat setting blew a fuse or something, so now it doesn't work at all. I ended up giving it away.Very disappointing :(

I have natural 3c/4a hair that takes a long time to dry...but this dryer really helps to speed up the process. This hairdryer is a really great solution if you are like me and hate those old school hair dryers that you have to put on the table... I could never get the right chair height to sit under it. This hair dryer is really simple to put together... and then you can watch a movie with subtitles or surf the internet while it works...The one problem that I had with my first one is that I was a little careless and moved it by picking it up and not supporting the head... it snapped off and I had to get another one... so just be careful and know that the best way to move this around is by rolling it...

The very first time I used this diffuser, it melted! The prongs inside that hold it onto the end of the hair dryer melted right in half! This is not my first diffuser either. The one thing that irritates me is this diffuser is said to fit MOST blow dryers, it took my the longest time to figure out how to get it to fit my blow dryer. Cheap Velecta Paramount Professional Super-Lightweight Hair Dryer
A friend (who is also a professional hair stylist) recommended this model to my wife. My wife loved hers so much that she bought one for her mother. From my perspective (the husband!) the only real problems that I have seen with it after 3+ years of use are that the cord gets twisted and that the rear fan cover broke when my wife dropped it on a tile floor. Would have been 5 stars if the manufacturer offered replacement parts directly from their website. Overall, a great hair dryer!

I am a professional hair dresser. I have been using this dryer for 4 years( I am on my second one). I love how light it is and its powerful motor. It is not whisper quiet, but it is not the loudest thing out there either.It has a super long cord that lets me get all around the chair. I highly recommend this dryer for the pros.

This hair dryer is great for my long-curly hair. It allows me to check my e-mail, do online banking, read a book, or eat breakfast all while my hair is drying. I appreciate that it has multiple heat settings and ions. It dries my hair much faster than me standing in front of a mirror with a hand-held dryer with a diffuser attachment. I have very thick hair too and no patience for holding a hand-held dryer. This lets you do other things while drying hair. Not as noisy whatsoever as a handheld dryer and the air comes from up and around so that your entire head of hair is equally dried in maybe 20 minutes.Beware of shipping fees. The Belson Gold n' Hot hair dryer is either hot or cold. There is no medium heat. You have to keep turning the temperature between hot and cool until your hair is dry. Also, the bonnet is not secure and keeps coming off when handled. I wish the previous reviews had mentioned this. So far I have used this dryer 3 times and it has proven to do what it says. It's very sturdy and not cheap looking. I use really big rollers about the width of a soda can and surprisingly I just made it under. My hair is very long and thick, although it doesn't get very hot like I would like it to be it has force 1875 watts. It's strong enough to blow paper while I'm reading it which has never happened before. The stand is very convenient and makes sitting under the dryer a breeze. I sure hope this product will last as long as my previous gold n'hot dryer(5yrs.). As for the ionizing part, I don't know what its supposed to do but when I used it, it made extra noise which I didn't like so I turned it off, it is not a quiet machine and I don't know what powerful dryer is. I didn't give it a full five stars because I just bought it.

I like this dryer. I have heard that some ppl have trouble keeping it on their heads. Indeed, when it wouldn't stay on my mother's head, but she has a small head and short afro hair. I have a normal sized head (one-size hats fit fine), and a big afro, so it stays on fine, on the low setting.
I would not buy this dryer for this price, or on Amazon. I bought it at Sally's for 9.95, and didn't have to pay shipping. I happened to have a blow dryer with a round nozzle at home. For the price, it was a great buy. If you have a blow dryer with a small round nozzle and a normal to large size head, it should suit your purposes.

This product is a waste of money. It was an absolute struggle to get it to fit around my hairdryer, and it was much bigger than I thought.
