I bought this this diffuser for travel, it's a very nice one, but its not a universal diffuser. It rarely fits over hotel hair dryers, so I have to hold it in place over most hotel hair dryers. I found the name (Travel Diffuser) to be misleading.

I actually preferred another spray conditioner for my synthetic hair pieces, but this one works very well on my natural hair. It does what it says, fills in the cuticle and makes the hair smooth, shiny and smelling like baby powder.
Note, when you use silicon products, you will need to cleanse them completely from your hair before dying it, or the dye won't absorb as well into the hair cuticle.

I LOVE THIS STUFF. I used it as I was flat ironing my hair...it actually works! I sectioned my hair and sprayed a few squirts on each section (no too much). Once I was done, my hair was silky and very soft. I have thick coarse hair that reverts in 75 degree weather so I was thinking this wouldn't work and probably wouldn't keep me from poofing up.. low and behold...it's been 4 days and my hair is straight, soft and silky. It did poof up a bit but it is 95 degrees and humid so compared to what it usually looks like...I'll gladly give this 5 stars. I love this product! After reading a WebMD article about using silicon-based products to keep hair silky and soft without losing volume, I did a search for such products and found Simply Styling. This product is simply amazing! It does just what it says (rare for a hair care product); it de-tangles hair, and leaves it silky and shiny without making it flat as the proverbial pancake. I use it before swimming, and it serves as a moisture barrier to keep chlorine out. I'm ordering more now!

Besides being expensive it is a bit heavy. No one also would say that it is a supercompact piece. It is not long but it is, say, fat. Anyway, the machine works really well.

There are three professional hairdryers I was considering and I'm glad I chose the Parlux 3500. I've had a SuperSalano, and a Twin Turbo, and both were great. However, the Parlux seems to out perform all I have tried because of it's super fast drying capability, percision styling attachment, and it's compact size. Defintitely my favorite so far and I couldn't be happier about my purchase.

I am very pleased with the company I bought this dryer from (Salon Supply Store). The dryer is very nice, but when I turned the timer knob, it cracked and broke. I was not able to turn the dryer on without it. At first, I was very upset! I sent an email to the company explaining what happened and asked if they could send me a replacement knob. They quickly answered my email and told me that a replacement knob would be shipped to me. I received the replacement knob quickly and it seems to be working fine. I've only had the dryer for a short time, but so far, I'm happy and would definitely buy from this seller again! (I am a licensed hair stylist.)

I give it 1 star because I couldn't give it less. I received the product with all sort of screws lose inside. Bought it as new and has scratches all over as if it was packed by a five year old. Parts of the inside of the hair bonnet was broken inside and the dryer was lose. The box it came in had no sign of mishandling so I can't blame UPS. The screw that comes with the pedestal does not fit inside the hole it is supposed to. The screw is way wider than the hole. The hair bonnet looked as if it was done in a rush as the sticker to read the temperature was not in place and crooked. If you are going to sell a product make sure screws fit and that it, at least, looks presentable. Wont waste another dime with this company. I ordered this dryer and straight out of the box it didn't turn on! I tried every single outlet in the room thinking maybe it was the outlet. I was so disappointed! I really liked the design of the unit. It was unfortunate it didn't even turn on. I saw a previous review with the same problem. I am wondering if I got that same unit they returned. I spent several weeks researching hair dryers before making this purchase. This dryer was recommended to me by my hair stylist. I have very thick hair with a slight wave (just enough to be annoying not completely straight or curly) and was looking for a dryer that would cut down on frizz and dry time and just plain make it easier to dry my hair this has done it all. It is also very lightweight and much quieter than my previous Conair dryer. Now to be honest, this is the first expensive dryer I have ever purchased so I can't personally compare it to others out there on the market, but I read every review I could get my hands on before buying and I didn't see any negatives where other expensive dryers (T3 for instance) seemed to have just as many unhappy customers as happy ones. Even though it was quite expensive I don't regret it one bit. And, even though FHI won't honor their warranty if you buy it from Amazon, Amazon will honor the manufacturer's warranty. It was much cheaper here.

I never really believed that a blow dryer could make a difference, and I kept buying the cheaper drug store dryers. My last one was the Revlon Tourmaline dryer, the one that was touted to be as good as the T3. Well, it was OK, but I still required at least 20 minutes of drying, then smoothing with my FHI iron.When I saw that FHI had a pro tourmaline dryer, I figured I had to at least try it, since I loved their flat iron so much. All I can say is WOW WOW WOW. This dryer is so far superior to anything else I have ever used. My shoulder length thick curly frizzy hair is dry and perfectly styled (with the help of a round ceramic brush) in 15 minutes, no need for my iron anymore. I really can't believe my hair can get this smooth and shiny with only a dryer, but I LOVE IT. So it cuts at least 10 minutes out of my dry/style time.
This dryer is a bit heavier than my drugstore Revlon, but since I'm not holding it as long, it doesn't really matter to me. The noise level is way way down too, I've never heard a dryer this quiet, so peaceful.
If you ever considered weather a pro dryer was worth the money, the answer is YES definitely. I hope this dryer lasts for years, but if it dies I'm running to buy a new one.

I have fine texture, naturally wavy, but very thick hair. My stylist marvels at how long it takes her to dry my hair. This hair dryer is super strong and it has taken time off of my drying and styling. (I am considering bringing it to my next hair appt. for her to try.) My hair has never been this soft from a hair dryer before. Other than wanting funky, jagged texture sometimes, I have stopped using my flat iron! It also gives my hair volume, despite the wonderful softness. I am very happy with this hair dryer, although I still feel guilty for spending so much.I have justified the cost to myself because I am expecting and HATE blow drying my hair. I don't want to be "that" wife/mom/woman who lives in a ponytail after the baby is born. Honestly, with this hair dryer I am far more likely to style my hair.
Oh, and last thing. My hair is always greasy the second day after washing. IF there is any oil I run the dryer and brush through my dry hair and it looks as good as the first day. I am able to wash my hair every two three days without feeling self-conscious. That was NEVER the case before. I used to use powder in the roots of my hair the second day. Not anymore!
Bottom line, if you are willing to spend the money, I would highly recommend this hair dryer. IMHO, it really does make a difference.

This blow dryer is exactly what I was looking for in a blow dryer. I am African American, with type 3c hair and no matter what I do my hair looks amazing. I can use the diffuser to let my hair remain curly, get a soft sheen and elongated looser curls that what I would get if I let my hair air dry. I also use the diffuser when I coil, shingle or put my hair in rods or curlers to achieve lengthen my curls and freshen them up daily when I wake up.Besides using the dryer for curly styles, I use it the straighten my hair and the results I get are simply silky. I glide a brush through my hair and it straightens all the frizz out of my hair. Also the dryer get my hair so smooth that I can glide my flat iron through my hair in a matter of minutes to complete styling. On hot days in the summer, I used the dryer to touch up my roots to help keep my hair straight.
As a plus, this is the quietest blow dryer I've ever used. The highest setting I use is warm with low heat although I occasionally use the warm heat setting with the high fan. I haven't needed to even try hot with the low or high fan, yet, but I can say that warm dries shoulder length hair in about 15 minutes or so. I could not give this product a higher review. I've tried my share of dryers and nothing works like this. definitely worth the money since I can get professional results at home. It saves me tons of money since I don't have to go to the salon as often.

Ordered this dryer about a year ago from another site. Was my first time buying a professional dryer (had used drug store brands before). The dryer is great -high heat setting, powerful, cuts drying time by about 30%, leaves hair super shiny and soft, and I noticed that hair stayed that way for longer. It's a bit on the heavy side, and doesn't have that grip coating that some of the other brands have. I give it one star because I was using it two weeks ago and it caught on fire. Thick gray smoke with a burnt plastic smell. I contacted customer service through their website but they didn't respond at all. I don't think it's designed to handle the heat it puts out. Nevertheless, I'm out a pretty expensive professional dryer that only lasted a year. Will not buy this one again, but will look for one that's comparable.
Buy Bio-Protein Curly Hair Conditioner
I love this conditioner...and began using it after having gone to the Batia and Aleeza salon in Los Angeles. The gel is also great and highly recommended it. The conditioner helps keep curls in check; I recommend leaving some in (not to thoroughly wash it all out) for it to work even better than it does on its own. A wonderful product and very recommended!
I did however go with another brand, which was cheaper in the long run

I have naturally curly hair and have struggled all my life to find products that would help my hair with frizz and for my curls to have nice soft ringlets rather than kink wave. I use this with no shampoo (I'm a "no-poo" girl, 3b hair). I use this along with their Micro-Sculpting Gel. I've been tried to talk into changing to other products, no way...I've found what works. The thing with this product is the longer you use it the more responsive your hair becomes with it. I have very curly hair, and this stuff is amazing! My only complaint is that is cost me almost $25 for a small bottle of it. I co-wash everyday, and I can be a bit heavy for my hair. I have super thick, shoulder length 2c/3a curly hair and I have finally come to terms with my hair because of the Batia & Aleeza line of products. This freshly scented conditioner gives great slip the comb goes thru my hair so easily with no snags or pulling and rinses clean (I do leave a little bit in for extra frizz control). I also use the B&A shampoo and gel and I'm a fan for life!

I purchased this mirror to replace a Jerdon lighted mirror that I had for the past 10 years. The old mirror broke when an item fell out of the medicine cabinet and hit the glass mirror.
This chrome finish mirror is a really nice. My old mirror had 5X magnification and was not double sided. This mirror has 8X magnification, and admittedly, as I get older, I need it! It is also reversible with 1X magnification on the flip side. That is good for the days that I don't care to see my flaws.
I am very happy with the quality of this mirror. It is well worth the price.

The Mirror could be a bit briter. I have a lot of light in my bathroom so it works well for me. If you do not have a lot of light in your room it may not be bright enough.A simular mirror at a major bath store was 3 tims the price, so I feel I got a great deal.

First, on the face of the device, the width of the frame and then the width of the light surface, times two as they surround the mirror, leaves a relatively small mirror surface. As for the light, it does not illuminate your face. It is dim but bright enough in a dim to moderately lit room, to cause your pupils to respond to the light, making it hard to see your face in the mirror as the light does not illuminate your face. Everything thing about this mirror is wonderful except for the light bulb! A dim light isn't very helpful when you are trying to put on makeup.

Has a design flaw though. The back traps too much fuzz and it decreases air flow and causes to over heat.

I have had Chi dryers in the past but they usually go out in about a year. Checked reviews on this dryer and has far exceded my expectations. Quite a difference in price of Chi and Cricket. Light weight and more blower options. Great price for quality dryer.

Item is overpriced. It is simply a brush that rotates. For this price you can get a hair dryer with a brush that rotates (see Infinity by Conair). I returned the item. The return process for this vendor is a big hassle. After sending a request for return saying that I did not want the product anymore, I had to exchange a few emails explaining why I did not want it.
