I was searching for the Whirl-A-Style and came across this. It was cheaper than the Whirl-A-Style so I decided to buy this instead. I followed the directions on the package and put my hair up in a ponytail and then put the hair styler in. I had a really difficult time rolling it up because the plastic it so thin and flimsy. When I finally got it rolled up all the way, I couldn't get the two ends to clip together because it was so tight. I do have very thick and long hair so I think that was the problem. I think it would work on someone who has shorter and thinner hair. It's too bad it doesn't come in different sizes.

I hate this product. I purchased it in hopes of replacing a similiar one I purchased 5 years ago. Looks the same but doesn't work the same, this is a hardened plastic not the rubberized version. Impossible to use effectively.

I found one of these years ago & used on myself until my hair was so thick & long it didn't work for me anymore, but my 3 year old daughter started ballet and this was the best way to make a perfect smooth bun for every class. After 6 months I misplaced it and started looking in stores for another but it had been a while since I had bought the first so I'm ordering 2 more today. These are great for girls, no pins needed, just a simple pony, slide thru center, roll & push the ends in together.

It is soooo flimsy and when I try to roll it up my pony tail in just bends and its hard to control seriously nothing but cheap but thats what I paid for I am a line cook and I have to pull my hair up every day was hoping this would help but I cant use it in the trash it went

I purchased this as I needed someway to get my hair put up out of the way where work. Our friends daughter who is in the Air Force suggested it as it was what she used for her long hair (Waist long). I like how easy it is to use, but am unable to use it as I have too long of hair to use it on. My hair is knee length, and it is impossible for me to wrap it all and pin it behind my head before my hand give out. The product is great, just not for extra long hair.
