I bought the shampoo, conditioner and this thickening serum or elixir. My hair has grown back, lots of thin short hairs. Only problem is that I wake up with hair in a point on top. Hairdresser said to apply the thickening serum the night before I wash my hair that it will work that way also.

I can honestly say after using this for a week i have no idea what it does. it has no hold at all, "light" doesnt = none. Returned it to my local salon for a refund. Didnt notice any thickness increase in my hair

While one shouldn't expect miracles, Hero Thickening Elixir does provide a "thicker" look when applied before blow drying. Although this product is for men, I am a woman and use this product when I blow out my hair. Since it's not too expensive, it's worth giving it a try!

I was introduced to this product by my salon they use it on men & women. I have fine hair that is difficult to manage and style. A quarter sized amount was applied to my shoulder length, towel dried hair and then blow dried in my usual style. It makes my hair look thicker & it keeps it's style & shape all day long. I now use this rather than all of the other countless styling products I have tried. The only reason I give four stars rather than five is that it is quite pricey although to be fair a bottle will last me approx 7 weeks.

I've had this blowdryer since 2002. I used to use it once every 3 months or so to blow out my hair for a trim. When my hairdresser would use it, I noticed it would dry my hair faster and smoother. I was able to buy it thru her at discounted price of $100. At the time, I thought it was a lot of money, but I am happy to see that my money was well spent. Over the years it has gone up in price, but I believe it is still worth every penny. Be sure to clean the filter when it gathers lint to increase longevity. I wear my hair curly most of the time so I don't use it that much, but I still wanted to post this review to attest to the quality of this product.

I was looking for just a little highlight strip to put on the left side of my hair, when I found this one. Not too many reviews, but it looked a heck of a lot better than some of the single strands I've seen, cheaper too! So I got it...and I loove it! My original plan was to cut it to my shoulder length hair, but decided to keep it and get more extensions, which I love! It is also a little bit longer than 18", its more like 22"-23"

The strand is a little thin, but it just adds to the realness of it! The purple is a nice vibrant color too....until you go swimming with it! The chlorine in the pool turned my extension to a pastel-ish purple, but it still looks good!

My only complaint is that it is a little expensive for just one strand, but they do last a long time. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoy this product! And I am definitely thinking about buying more colors!

I have short thin hair and my hair just slips right off this mini iron with the slippery surface. I can not use it at all. I'm giving it to my daughter in law who has long hair. I have tried quite a few hair dyes and this one seems to last longer and covers gray hair more effectively. This hair dye comes in a small glass bottle that is in powder form. All you do is pour a certain amount into a plastic clear tray that is provided and add water based on the recommended measurements they give. For example, you will add water up to the first line when using a quarter of the bottle. Then you just mix it well and quickly apply it to your hair. I leave it on for about 20 minutes to make it more effective against gray hair. I have bought a couple of this product and will continue to use it. I haven't found another product that dyes hair as well quickly.

I've been using this hair color for years because it's inexpensive, not messy, does not damage my hair, lasts a long time, and fades naturally rather than growing out. It was pretty easy to find in LA, but was not widely available in Green Bay. Amazon gave me an outlet to get it for only a bit higher price than I was getting it from the LA ethnic markets.

I was searching for the Whirl-A-Style and came across this. It was cheaper than the Whirl-A-Style so I decided to buy this instead. I followed the directions on the package and put my hair up in a ponytail and then put the hair styler in. I had a really difficult time rolling it up because the plastic it so thin and flimsy. When I finally got it rolled up all the way, I couldn't get the two ends to clip together because it was so tight. I do have very thick and long hair so I think that was the problem. I think it would work on someone who has shorter and thinner hair. It's too bad it doesn't come in different sizes.

I hate this product. I purchased it in hopes of replacing a similiar one I purchased 5 years ago. Looks the same but doesn't work the same, this is a hardened plastic not the rubberized version. Impossible to use effectively.

I purchased this as I needed someway to get my hair put up out of the way where work. Our friends daughter who is in the Air Force suggested it as it was what she used for her long hair (Waist long). I like how easy it is to use, but am unable to use it as I have too long of hair to use it on. My hair is knee length, and it is impossible for me to wrap it all and pin it behind my head before my hand give out. The product is great, just not for extra long hair.
