This hairdryer is much more powerful than the Conair I previously owned as it dries my hair in nearly half the time. It is a tiny bit quieter, but still makes a decent amount of noise (about the same as a powerful hand vacuum). It is a perfect size for the bathroom. The only thing I would change is to make the power cord recoil as it is nice and long, but must be wrapped up after each use or left to hang. That said, I still highly recommend this hair dryer.

The picture suggests that the cord on this dryer is a coil. It is not. When you hang the dryer on the wall the cord is all over the sink top. You buy a wall mount to make things more tidy not to have cords laying all over the place. Very disappointed, Not "First Class."

I purchased a Jerdon First Class wall mount hair dryer a couple of months ago. It is one of the best wall mount units I've used! I chose it because it had the best rating of all, and I am not disappointed one bit! AS a matter of fact, I'm going to order another so that when this one fails years from now, I won't need to try and find a unit that uses the same mounting holes, etc.

The cord is not coiled, but I've seen so many coiled cords become stretched out and knotted, that that is a non-issue. I wrapped excess cord up with a tie-wrap.

Combined with free shipping, this is a great deal!

I love this dryer. No more pulling out my dryer every time I want to use it--my new one is mounted on the wall and ready to use. I also installed the same dryer in our two extra bedrooms for family and/or visitors. I recommend this to anyone.
