Almost perfect. This hair dryer is the best.

The only minor things I would change is the annoying 3-position temperature slide bar that has the off position in the middle, the low position on top, and the high position on the bottom. It just seems the off position would be better placed at either the top or bottom of the slide bar. Everytime one wants to change the position from low to high heat output or vice versa, the off position is ill-placed right in the middle of the slide bar. Annoying but workable.

The latter item would be that while the cord is definitely long enough, there is warning not to pass pulling the cord out beyond a colored stripe. It would be helpful to have a pre-warning stripe since the only way to find out where the warning stripe is located is to pull the cord out too far. Oops! So, once a person discovers the maximum length that the cord should be pulled out to by pulling it out too far, it's too late. However, despite the warning, it didn't hurt the product to do this at least not the one time it happened.

The wonderful features to fold this product for easy portability, the retractable cord, and its excellent drying ability, all far outweigh the two mentioned minor annoyances.

I have owned this dryer for about two years now and I have no complaints. It has a good feel in hand while you are using it. The weight is well balanced and the dryer is compact, but not too small. The buttons feel solid and work as they should (even though some people complain about the orientation of the on/off). I especially like that the cord is long enough to have freedom of movement, but still retracts into the handle for easy storage. I have traveled with this dryer and it holds up to frequent trips. I do not think that this dryer is especially noisy compared to other dryers I have owned in the past. As for drying speed, I have long thick hair and it manages to dry my hair in no time. If I need a second dryer or if this one dies (as all eventually do...) I will buy another Revlon RVDR5012.

I go through hair dryers like crazy...I'm always trying to find one that isn't loud, or dries faster, or has a longer cord. I've definitely found the right one at last. This dryer is surprisingly light, and I love the retractable cord on it. It only has one switch with hot/off/low, which is easy to maneuver and doesn't stick. It has a cold shot button, also. I think this dryer dries my hair a little faster than previous models I've tried, but there's not much difference. I love that it's so light...it keeps your arms from getting tired as fast.

I've always liked the retractable cord dryers, since they allow me to keep my storage space a little neater. Also am a fan of the ceramic/ionic units as they do seem to make a bit of a difference for my hair. This dryer works really well, including the ability to (almost) fully retract the cord and fold the unit in half for storage. But I have to give it a little ding in the overall rating because the concentrator attachment does not fit properly and is difficult to use because it falls off repeatedly.

I resisted buying this product because of the cost. But after 2 or 3 years of buying useless throw-away curling brush/irons I decided to take another chance with this styling brush/iron.I searched the internet for consumer reviews of this product but they were practically non-existent and the few reviews I read did not come close to answering my questions. I have used a similar styling brush, a Braun shaper/styler that used energy cells, for about 25 years since Braun introduced it. Braun finally discontinued that product and no longer would even support it by offering the energy cells it required for use. The Tron is even better than my beloved Braun styler/shaper brush iron that I've always used as a comparison with the many products I've used in trying to find a replacement.

I have a short layered hair style and my hair is fine and thinning. The Tron does everything it says it does. The 3/4 barrel is perfect for short and medium hair lengths. It is powerful enough for thick, heavy hair and because of the various heat settings, it is gentle enough for short and thinning hair. It's the only brush/iron I've tried in my search for the "right" one that doesn't snarl my hair. It's extremely powerful and heats up almost immediately and with the multiple temperature settings everyone should be able to use at least one or two of the heat settings comfortably. I think it would be impossible to burn your scalp or face because of the way it's made. Unlike most other stylers of this type, it will grab even short and thin hair and hold on to it. It can create a smooth hair style or can be used to add body where you want and you can also create soft or tighter curls. It can even be used on hair that is not freshly shampooed that has styling product already on the hair making it great for touch-ups. Have you ever wondered why most manufacturers of this type of product always make the barrel so long when it's so unnecessary. This barrel is the perfect length and surprising to me, it's about the same length as my old Braun. Braun got that right because you never could use the entire length of a curling brush and most companies have never figured out the extra useless barrel length only makes it more difficult to use. Tron got this right as well!

I know this review is long but I hope I've answered questions for those of you who, like me, have been searching for the perfect styling brush/iron. For me, the question I always ask myself is what could be done to improve this product. Honestly, I couldn't think of one single thing that could have been done better or improved upon. I love this perfect tool so much that I'm seriously considering ordering another. Braun has made me fearful that anything I love and am loyal to will disappear. Most manufacturers are seemingly clueless about products of this type and in my opinion every single brush/iron I tried were only clones of each other. This is the first truly innovative product I've tried that actually works as it should and as advertised. Yes, the Tron is pricey but I know if I added up the cost of all the many products I've purchased and ended up throwing because they simply did not work for me, the Tron would have been cost effective in the long run.

I agree with several other reviews you will find around. This is a very innovative product. I love it! I color my hair and it's dry/frizzy/curly and thin by nature. I love that this iron has a low temperature and it still works like crazy at that LOW temp. I had this iron for 6 months before going overseas (where I damaged it beyond repair using the appropriate electrical converter). However, before that I had the opportunity to used it several times a week for touch-ups and fell in love with it! I wash my hair 1-2 times a week and use it on my hair with product in it. My hair has never felt healthier! This iron/brush is so easy on my hair and still creates the smooth and full look I want. I too have had a few trial and error periods while learning and getting my med/long hair caught in the barrel but if you use a rat tail comb as the instructions say, the hair comes out quickly and easily and you can try again without damage.

I just ordered my second one because the one I ruined overseas was toast. I mean that literally. Even though I used it with the appropriate power converter, it melted in front of my eyes! Thankfully it started to bend sideways before I had the chance to put it into my hair! Otherwise I can't imagine what would've happened to my hair! Seriously, the barrel bent/melted to a 90 degree angle as I tried to lift it and put it into my hair. This was while I was in Europe. I have used several other appliances over there without problems. This is not one I will bring again. I had to throw it out and discovered I missed it terribly when I got back home and had to order another. That's how much I love it.

My only question is how on earth does one use this as a dryer? I know it says its a dryer + straightener + curling + brush. I just don't get how it's a practical dryer?! I don't really care because I always let my hair dry naturally and then use this brush to style it or touch it up.

Yes, it's pricey but I love it. Obviously loved it enough to order it twice! :) By the way...the brush I use is 1 1/4 inches.

I love this stuff...it helps save my hair from the damage I've been accustomed to without it...and "got 2b" is made by Schwartzkopf (they make other really good hair products)...and it's also not too expensive. I have short hair and I use about 4-5 sprays on a wet head before blow-drying. If you use too much and your hair will feel a little sticky and heavy after drying, but just enough and it will be smooth and nice. So a bottle will last you awhile...

The Air-Dryr 1000 is fairly big, produces heat, and intended for small areas. Based on two hygrometers I have, it only covers a small area, mostly above the unit. It does not significantly reduce the humidity in a small bedroom, but perhaps keeps it in a steady level. The heat it produces will also heat up a room by 5-10 degrees F, which is great for cold winters, yet terrible for the hot summer. It may have help reduce the growth of mold and mildew, but does not entirely "zap" it as it claims. The positive thing is that is very quiet and does not have any moving parts that need frequent cleaning.

This product is so amazing, I am aout to purchase 3 more 1 for our garage and 2 for our basement! I placed the Air-Dryr 1000 in our mud-room, which is an unheated room, that was built in to some of our garage. Thus, it is a cold, somewhat damp area. Not only did the Air-Dryr 1000 eliminate our need to pipe heat in to the mud-room but it also solved any potential hygiene problems for my son's hockey equipment. He skates 6 days a week. This hairdryer is much more powerful than the Conair I previously owned as it dries my hair in nearly half the time. It is a tiny bit quieter, but still makes a decent amount of noise (about the same as a powerful hand vacuum). It is a perfect size for the bathroom. The only thing I would change is to make the power cord recoil as it is nice and long, but must be wrapped up after each use or left to hang. That said, I still highly recommend this hair dryer.

The picture suggests that the cord on this dryer is a coil. It is not. When you hang the dryer on the wall the cord is all over the sink top. You buy a wall mount to make things more tidy not to have cords laying all over the place. Very disappointed, Not "First Class."

I purchased a Jerdon First Class wall mount hair dryer a couple of months ago. It is one of the best wall mount units I've used! I chose it because it had the best rating of all, and I am not disappointed one bit! AS a matter of fact, I'm going to order another so that when this one fails years from now, I won't need to try and find a unit that uses the same mounting holes, etc.

The cord is not coiled, but I've seen so many coiled cords become stretched out and knotted, that that is a non-issue. I wrapped excess cord up with a tie-wrap.

I debated, read a gazzilion reviews, and finally decided to get a

The T3 luxe 2, the top of the line dryer that t3 makes. Well I went to Sephora ready to make that huge purchase and got cold feet about the cost. I looked, held, turned on, and played with all of the high end dryers and decided on purchasing the t3 veloce. It had the ceramic, ionic, and Tourmaline technology that I was looking for, and it came with a diffuser. I was excited to use it and see what a difference it made. I previously owned a Herstyler hair dryer and was pleased with the results, until I dropped it and broke it. I haven't used it on myself yet, bit I did use it on my sister, who has the same hair type as me (very thick and healthy hair). I found that there were good and bad qualities.

Good: Her hair definitely looked shiny and healthy. Significantly less frizz! Very sleek,

The dryer is fairly light, although not nearly as light as the t3 featherweight luxe 2.

It has a nice long cord (9 feet).

It has a cool shot button

It is relatively quiet compared to others.

It is a pretty sparkly dryer.

Bad: The on/off switch is in a bad place and very easy to mistakenly turn it off. I inadvertanly turned it off 7 times while drying her hair.

It only has one heat setting (hot)

The concentrator piece fell of twice while drying the first and only time I have used it.

Overall, the results from this dryer give a beautiful, professional look. It blows away drugstore dryers. The bad position of the on/off switch and the fact that the concentrator piece is already a problem, is leading me to return and exchange the dryer. I would also like the option of multiple heat settings.

I'm Going to upgrade to the t3 featherweight 2 (not the luxe, unfortunately, too pricey)and hope to find what I'm looking for. I hope this helped,

I was SO excited to receive this hairdryer! I have very thick, curly, frizzy hair and this was my first official top-of-the-line purchase for hairdryers...or so I thought. Fast forward 8 months and the hairdryer started making the most horrendous noises every time I turned it on. It sounded like an airplane getting ready to take off. I contacted T3 and asked them to advise me on what to do. Did I need it cleaned? Did I need it repaired? T3 responded that since Amazon is NOT a certified retailer they would not be able to fix my eight-month old hairdryer that I had spent $100 on for free. They did say however that they would be able to fix it if I sent in the hairdryer with a $60 check to them, meaning I would have been out a hairdryer and an additional $60. I finally decided on not sending the hairdryer in to be fixed because I'd rather put that $60 towards another more reliable hairdryer. I'm extremely disappointed in the T3 Veloce. It worked well while it lasted, but it honestly performed as well as any drug store hairdryer. I would not recommend anyone buy this. If you do still want to buy this hairdryer regardless, I'd HIGHLY advise you not to purchase it on Amazon so when it breaks, T3 will hopefully fix it for you!

I got this hair dryer after much debating on whether I should get CHI instead. I've never owned a CHI hair dryer, but I can say that I'm not much impressed with this one. I know for a fact that T3 is definitely louder than the CHI.

I will say, though, that T3 dries my hair faster than a generic hair dryer. I'm just not sure if it leaves my hair looking any shinier/sleeker. The Tourmaline technology is overrated. We'll see how things play out in the long run.

If saving about 30 minutes a day is not a "present", I do not know what is. This hair dryer is well constructed. The cord is about 16 gauge and about 9 feet long. There is heft to this dryer but it does not feel heavy. I realize that it is "taboo" for a husband to purchase his wife an appliance for Christmas, but I guarantee your wife will love you and the hair dryer.

I have long, thick hair, and blow drying it has always taken forever. I have used Chi dryer, Paul Mitchell, and several other salon brands, and none of them made the drying time or experience any faster or better. However, since I received this blow dryer, my "get ready" time has been cut in half. It's a miracle!! I never thought my hair could be dried so quickly. It's also fairly quiet for a blow dryer, but yet very powerful! It's worth every penny!
