I am a 40 plus, runner and swimmer with long blond hair. I must admit that genetics has helped (thanks mom and dad) but I have been using this product for over 5 years and love it. I am so glad to find it on Amazon. I was running low on my last bottle and was unable to find it with my old carrier so I was conserving the bottle what I had remaining. My hair had more fly-aways and just did not look at polished or smooth. This is my go to product. I am rough on my hair and frequently shower more than once a day (which I don't recommend).

My hair stylist recommended Meros ID Care when I got my first straight perm. She recommended that I use it before I blow dry my hair and after to protect hair from heat and to lock in shine. I've bought this product ever since and this seller does a good job of getting me the product right away (it came within 5 days and I asked for standard shipping). The product smells very salon-professional, which I like, and it does a good job of protecting my hair since I blow dry every day. I think it's probably be fine to use this even if you don't have a perm... it smells great anyways! I would definitely recommend this product.

This product leaves my hair shiny, smooth, and silky feeling. I love this leave in conditioner!!!! I am over 60, and have what I call transitional hair. It makes a huge difference in the overall health of my hair. I also use Purology hair products with this.

This was recommended by a friend to help tame frizz after I got a mild permanent. It really works. But use very little for short hair--size of a dime.

If I want protection against heat (flat irons, hair dryers, etc) I'd go for something more reliable like biosilk.

If I want silkiness, if I want my hair to shine, this product doesn't do. It just adds some shine/controls frizz very, very minimally, for about thirty minutes max.

It doesn't smell good either, so I really don't see the point to this product.
