I have a previous version of this item and it works beautifully. This model, slightly upgraded, does not...

I use it to close shave my head everyday and the blades just aren't close enough. On my previous model, I was able to unscrew the blades and align the cut as close as 0mm. This new model has an "upgraded" blade head that has the blades screwed together. In other words, they aren't adjustable.

The product does display a quality fit and finish however. It just doesn't do (due to mechanical changes in manufacture) what I needed it to.

These are some excellent clippers. I am not a professional barber, but i do cut my own hair. These Clippers are easy to adjust, run smooth and quiet, and are professional grade. Before cutting my own hair, my barber always lined me up with these. Bottom line, worth the money.

You can't go wrong with Andis trimmers. I can only shave with these trimmers due to razor bumps and sensitive skin on my face and head. So much so that this is the only trimmer I've used since I was 16. I've tried others they just don't come close to this line and style. Smooth, light, doesn't get hot (of course after an hour of cutting, it should be though), no nicks but cuts close enough that my wife saw the cut and noticed it was considerably closer and my face was smoother. I did mention she's 29 weeks pregnant right, so she notices EVERYTHING!! I've bought other trimmers on here to compare and tried to save a little money but as they say, you get what you pay for. Spend wisely as these are an excellent choice.
