I purchased this product at Walgreens for $14.99. I saw the Air Curler on TV and am always looking for an easier and quicker way to curl my hair. It took me a long time just to put the product together and when I finally got it connected, the hair dryer kept falling out of the "secure" nozzle. I sprayed my hair damp (just like it tells you to do), grabbed a small section of hair and put it in the bucket. When I turned the blow dryer on, I saw my hair swirl like a "tornado" and left it in for about 20 seconds. I took my hair out of the bucket and it was a messy, limp strand of hair. My boyfriend walked in the bathroom after trying the same section of hair over and over and said my hair "looked horrible". I couldn't agree more. I will be promptly returning this product and will recommend for you to not even waste your time! This product is the quintessential "too good to be true".

I had to laugh at myself as I bought this thing after seeing the commercial, but so help me, it actually worked! I did need to use the rubber band thingy it came with to hold in the hair dryer better. I tried it on my shoulder length hair first, using several small sections. It made small, tight curls that looked really crazy until I lightly finger combed them out. I wanted to try it again though, so I also did my mom's and my niece's hair. Both have longer than shoulder length hair. I did four sections of their hair, and it made nice big waves.

This morning, I dried my roots, did four sections, and let them set while I did my make-up. Then I just finger separated the curls and gave them a light spray with hairspray. LOVE IT!

The downside: It's big and clumsy, so have a plan as to where to keep it. AND you kind of feel like a dork using it.
