Awesome hair dryer for the price. I received this as a gift almost a year ago and it works great. Came with 2 attachments. I like using the concentrator attachment, makes my hair less frizzy. The fringe diffuser attachment doesn't work too well with my hair. I have long, fine hair so I guess that could be why. The low and high settings blow the perfect amount of air that it should be blowing. The 3 different heat setting are nice and convenient.

So, no complaints here. However, about 10 months after having this blow dryer the heat stopped working. I contacted Revlon and they sent me a new one for free. I didn't even have to send back the old, broken one. Good customer service, Revlon, It got here in less than a week.

Review of Conair Ionic Conditioning 1875 Watt Cord-Keeper Hair Dryer w

I have been a long time user and fan of the Conair Cord Keeper hairdryers. I use them until they just die. Recently Conair changed the look of this hairdryer and at first sight I thought that it felt much more flimsy than my previous Cord Keepers but did not give it much thought since I have always been very pleased with this hairdryer. The hairdryer lasted about 2 weeks before the folding handle cracked. When we opened up the handle we found that the plastic piece that makes the handle fold was cracked in half and did not appear repairable. I went out and purchased another Cord Keeper thinking that I just had a 'lemon', well the second one lasted exactly 3 months and 1 day. Today I pulled out the hairdryer, opened the handle and heard a crack. This handle is also broken which prevents the hairdryer from staying in the open position. The product does have a 2 yr warranty but you are required to ship the defective product to a Conair service center along with $3 for shipping and handling this would cost me more than the hairdryer, just not worth my time to box it up and take it to the post office!

That being said, when this hairdryer worked it was wonderful. The two speed settings are the perfect speeds, the hairdryer is extremely light and the handle is easy to grip. The retractable cord is the best feature of this hairdryer and along with the folding handle it is great for travel.

I did write to Conair and their response will determine if I purchase another Conair hairdryer plus I will be back to update this review.

I've been through 2 of these hair dryers. The first one stopped working after a year. The second one's cord twisted up and could not fully retract. For about a week it keep going on and off. This morning the cord sparked, smoked, and started to flame. I will not purchase this hair dryer again.

Loved the lightweight and compactible dryer until stopped working about 4 months after purchase date. It would stop in the middle of drying my hair and then go on and off every few seconds. Very annoying. I will not buy another.

first of all , let me be clear that the materials used in this dryer are NOT first quality....on the other hand the design is extraordinary.......i use mine on a daily basis and , provided you use them with (extra) care they will last more than a year......repairable?......dont think about it .if you open the folding handle, it will break apart in your hands.......i believe its components are so cheap that they do not resist being taken apart.....this product has been (since the begining)assembled in south america, just to seek the cheapest manufacturing process.

I have used three of these. The first two each lasted a year before shorting out. I kept buying them because I liked the cordkeeper function. This last one, though, shorted out and started a fire. I have notified the company and will see what happens. But I doubt that I will purchase another. It's obvious that this product has an engineering or manufacturing flaw and should be pulled off the market.

Well, I hate to wreck the perfect review record here, but this product did not work for me! I have longish, thick, wavy hair, so a blow out is a chore. I saw this product endorsed in a magazine and ordered it specifically to cut blow dry time -because that's what we all want, right? However, this product made no discernible difference in blow dry time. No. discernible. difference.

I think this stuff works. it does what it's suppose to do, which is to make the hair dry faster, but i think it depends on what kind of hair type you have since I have read many reviews before purchasing this product.

I have a chemically treated hair, dyed my hair million times, bleached it, my hair is just dry, and i'm asian so i have asian hair. I would say my hair normal, maybe a little bit on the thinner side. And this product works perfectly fine on my hair. It definitely cut my blow drying time, it usually takes about 5-10 mns to dry my hair, with hot heat, i forgot to mention i have long hair, (length is around my boobs), now it only takes me 5 mins or less and i'm very happy with the results. The product smells good, and it's definitely easy to use. My complaint would be i wish it came in a bigger size and it doesn't really condition that much. i still have to use a leave on conditioner (serum) after drying my hair for treatment, which i think is a hassle.

I think it does the job, this product is worth to try, it will be either you love it or you hate it. I recommend this product, gotta try it before judging if it really works or not.

I never write reviews, but I HAD to. I have incredibly thick hair and I hate blowing it dry. It takes 20 minutes at least just to get it dry, even longer if I want it to be styled. I'm a mom with a very busy job. I don't have time to spend 20-30 minutes on my HAIR!

Enter this product. The first day I did my hair, it took 7 minutes. I died! I got to work and, instead of my ponytail, I had lucious, flowing locks (seriously!) People were SO complimentary that I went out and bought another bottle immediately! When I next went to my stylist, I mentioned the product to her. She said "I just learned about it too! We use it here now!"

I have natural african american hair. I wanted a comb that was able to detangle the hair without breakage. This is it. The comb is heavy duty so it should last for years. The teeth are wide enough to detangle the hair after you shampoo, yet not so wide that it can't be use as an everyday comb. It's easy to hold and feels comfortable in your hand.

Discount Curl Junkie Curl Fix Intense Hair Treatment - 8 oz

I have gotten the best curls EVER using the new Curl Junkie products (and some old). This Curl Fix is great for those of you who have color-treated, dry, heat-or-styling damaged hair, especially if you benefit from protein (as I do). I use this as a deep treatment (mixed with Curl Rehab) and as a leave-in conditioner (with extra added to ends).

The only thing I'm not wild about is the intense gardenia scent. It does fade some, but that's not my fave floral-perfume scent for hair. Curl Fix has what I'd call a "gardenia bush meets lollipop tray" scent, sweet candy scent undertones with strong gardenia main aroma.

But this stuff is so good, I don't care that the scent is not my fave. Still, wish this came in a sweet citrus or a strawberry or a lime scent or cherry vanilla or green herbal, rather than a floral.

I bought this blow dryer because I do subscribe to the Ionic theory. The only problem is it broke within a year. The power cord had to be plugged in a certain way for the blow dryer to work and if it moved it turned off. Happened everywhere. Hotels, my house, friends houses.. then bzzzzz.. dead. The bad burning electric smell from inside and goner. I wouldn't waste the money on this brand (it's not cheap) and go for another type.

Pro:

Light weight (I travel a lot, so it's nice to not have to break my back every time I lift my suitcase into an overhead bin)

The heat system leaves my hair feeling silky

The heat system is gentler on my hair and I have not noticed the normal breakage/split ends I used to get from my old hair dryer

Con:

It doesn't dry my hair as quickly as my old hair dryer--takes an extra 1-3 minutes vs my old dryer (may take more if you have thicker hair)

Overall I would recommend this. And I think the price is extremely good compared to other ceramic/ion dryers.

Has alcohol in it which stung my scalp and dried my hair. Did not make my hair thicker, maybe just a little. It was sticky too. I guess it's o.k. if you just want a bottle of hair-spray. I was afraid it would make my hair fall out more, so I dumped it out down the sink after trying it for 3 days. I will use the spray bottle for something else. It is a good spray bottle. So, I give 5 stars for the spray-bottle.

It's relatively quiet and powerful enough for my long, fine, straight hair. I don't know if I would take it to Europe because it is bigger than a folding travel dryer, but I like having the option of converting to foreign current.
