This is exactly what I needed for my dryer. It is short and sturdy so it won't tip and has suction cups on the bottom to hold it firm to the counter. Dryer holders are hard to find and this one was great.

Well built, looks very nice, and does the job perfectly. I bought for my daughter's black blow dryer by Conair that I bought at Costco a few years back, which has a tapered end. It rests on the RH side of her bathroom sink vanity with the short end of the holder next to the wall, which is open and has the toilet on that side of the sink. It's a great location for my right handed daughter, and the wall outlet is on that side too. The dryer's cord conveniently hangs down the side of the cabinet and is out of sight when you look into the bathroom, and it's out of the way as well. I love the way this worked out, because it minimizes space taken up by the blow dryer, which previously was just left out on the countertop laying on it's side. It is also easier to pick up the dryer to use and easy to replace it when done! I highly recommend if you have this type of bathroom set up. I wish the company made one of these for wider nozzle blow dryers, as the Conair blow dryer I have is like that. I also need a solution for what to do with the cord, as I have a wall on both sides. Mine has a retractable cord, which is a pain to do every day, and having it hang in front of drawers is obnoxious when you want to get into the drawers--maybe some sort of holder like this one with a coordinating hook that you mount on the wall and loop the cord around it? Anyone have a solution for this besides buying a new hairdryer?
