I watched a few youtube videos on "plopping" and they suggested this type of towel so I promptly ordered three for my daughter and myself. I can definitely tell a difference in my curls since using this towel. My hair dries faster, the towel doesn't weigh my head down like traditional towels (I have a lot of thick hair so it was necessary to use large towels) and there is virutally no frizz. A wonderful investment.

This towel is perfect for "plopping" and ensuring that you really aren't leaving the house with a wet head. I used it for the first time this morning and I am so glad that I purchased. It stays in place better than using a tee shirt and is very gentle on the hair.
