I really like this blow dryer. It is more quiet than others that I have used; and it is very efficient. My only complaint, as similar w/other blow dryers, is that the on/off switch is on the handle near where I hold it when using it. Every now and then I will accidentally turn it off while using it. A little inconvenient, but I still love using it.

I wanted something that used less energy and this does the trick. It works as well as any blow dryer I have had and it is a bit better for the enviroment....

Pros:

Quieter than other hair dryers I've used

Uses less electricity

Minimal paint on casing to reduce environmental impact

Blower head directs air flow better than my past dyer

Has all the settings I was looking for: Heat (cool, warm, hot) Power (low, med, high) plus a Cool Shot

Cons:

It's the color of putty!

I would recommend this to ANYONE who's top concern isn't the appearance. It's good looking except for the color.

This is a **great** hair dryer. It really does dry your hair faster. The different settings (hot, warm, and cool) actually make a difference in how your hair looks. Probably more healthy for your hair. I used The Rusk Go Green Hair Dryer to replace my Conair 225R Comfort Touch Tourmaline Ceramic 1875-Watt Hair Dryer. A word on Conair hair dryer I was always worried the darn thing would overload the electric circuit in our bathroom; it flickered the bathroom lights when using it. I've never had a hair dryer to that!! The Rusk hair dryer didn't effect the lights in the bathroom one bit, nor do I have a lingering worry that I'm about to electrocute myself when using it.

I respectfully disagree with the review that dings the material out of which this dryer is made. I like the construction of this hair dryer. It's nice to have a product that is solidly constructed. (How nice to have an appliance that doesn't feel like it will break in half.) The color is fine -actually better than the ugly cheap metallic color of most hair dryers.

i have been using this dryer for about 6 months and its a good dryer but nothing really special about it except that its good for the environment, the black nozzel that comes with it has a tendency to fall off frequently and it just a nice quality dryer doesn't feel cheap, i had the chance to try my mom's chi rocket hair dryer so my expectation were a little too high, that dryer drys hair faster and less frizz
